Well that was a week that I'm glad the girls survived. Had two really big storms. First was 50mm early in week over a 24 hour period, high winds and a touch of hail. Second was day 5, got 80mm in just under 2 hours. High winds 70-90kmh. Torrential downpour, some of the heaviest I've ever seen in my life. Both girls survived, but there was only a few inches of growth compared to their normal 6-8". Probably a little traumatized from all the pounding they took. On the upside at end of week they're looking good, healthy green and no sign of bugs (knock on wood). Next nice day will give them a good look over. Other than that just keeping an eye on them, once stretch stops will give a good defoliation to make sure not TOO thick. Both girls still between 70-80" but hope to get a more accurate measurement this week once I get my ladder out hahaha.
@Grow_for_Happiness, the Bubba Kush proved itself to me last year when it resisted the pervasive powdery mildew in our neighbourhood. But I'm still holding my breath as well until I see more Heat.
Your Bubba Kush Flowers are going to be huge! Enjoy π
@Grisly, thanks dude I'm holding my breath hoping for the same, at this rate it'll be mid October π¬. Apparently this strain is mold/mildew resistant but still π€
Beautiful plant and whole outdoor diary! Lots of great inspiration. I also grew a huge Bruce Banner #3 plant outside. You can check it out on my profile. Peace and enjoy your fruits.ππ
