My very first Grow

Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 5: - I've noticed that the roots started to grow outside of the jiffy. - so i moved the 4 largest (out of the 6) to there new home. (4x 3 gallon non-woven planting bags filled with BioBizz Light-Mix) - and watered them slowly with 1 liter pure water each - my LED is now at 75%, 18/6 - Clipfan is running - also i prayed to whoever listens, that at least one of this plants are female... Day 6 - nothing new, they look good (as far as I can tell) and I think I give them some water with the first nutrients (BioBizz Root-Juice) tomorrow. Day 7 - watered each plant with 1l water, including nutrients: BioBizz Root-Juice 2ml/l (recommended 4ml/l) BioBizz Bio-Heaven 1ml/l (recommended 2ml/l) - I've read that 50-80% of recommended nutrients are totally fine, so i decided to try 50%

Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 8: They grow very well so far. The leaves seems to be a little bit yellow, but I'm not sure... Day 9: Nothing new, nothing to complain about. Its really hard not to sit in front of the tend, the whole day, and watch my baby's grow. Kind of mesmerizing 😅 Day 10: Today they got watered again. 1l each. This time with "BioBizz Bio-Grow" for the first time. I'd say they look really good, but that's just my uneducated guess. Day 11: Nothing to report. Day 12: Nothing to report. Tomorrow is feeding time. Day 13: Feeding time for my little baby's. 1l each. They grow like hell. I guess I'm not far away from my first topping "action". Maybe next week? We'll see. Day 14: Last day for this week. 2 weeks since I started this "experiment". Never thought I come this far in first try. - Humidity this week = 38 - 86% (most of the time its around 50%) - Temperature this week = 17.8°C - 25.1°C (64°F - 77.2°F) (most of the time its around 23°C (73°F)) - LED still at 75% with 18/6 and 30cm (12 inch) away - Watered 2 times

Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 15: Plants are growing, tomorrow is watering and I'm reading about topping/FIMing. Day 16: No feeding today, the soil seems and feels moist enough. Maybe tomorrow. Day 17: Watered today. 1l each. I'm really unsure about topping/FIMing... don't want to fuck it up. Both techniques sound great. I think I use FIMing on my two smaller baby's and topping on the other two... Day 18: I've decided not to train my plants. For my first grow I want to see the "natural" process. This way I can send them into flower maybe end of next week. At this point i didn't smoke for over 2 month and I'm starving... Day 19: Almost every day I've to higher my LED to keep the 30cm (12 inch) distance. Some leaves look "dry". I guess my clipfan is the reason, so i turned it off for today. Humidity is around 50-55%. Lets see what they look tomorrow. Day 20: I'd say they look healthier. I raised temperature to 23°C (73°F) and humidity to around 60%. Clipfan is still off. Day 21: Last day for this week! Plants got watered today, as always, 1l for each. Last night the humidity got a little bit out of hand with 70%. Overall stats for the week: Temperature: 17.3°C (63°F) to 24.1°C (75°F) Humidity: 46% to 70% Plants have a average height of 33cm

Day 23: On one plant I started to notice little balls. I'm a bit worried. I thought this kind of development only appears in flowering. Plants are still in a 18/6 cycle. Guess I'll open a question to be sure. Otherwise plants are looking great, maybe i water them tomorrow. Day 24: It's a dark day... had to kill 2 of the plants. Thanks to this community I was able to spot early signs of male plants and 2 plants clearly showed it. With one plant I'm not totally sure (left on the pic from day 24) so I'll wait a few more days. I knew that would happen since I used random seeds, but to kill them was hard and sad. Guess I can save fertilizer now... also starting to save money for feminized seeds (maybe also auto) Anyways, I watered them today with 1l for each plant. Day 25: Nothing to report. Day 26: As expected one more plant was clearly a male. I've removed him and now my last lady can have all the space she wants. I've noticed that the soil seems a bit dry, so I've watered her again with 1l + nutrients. I'm starting to plan my next grow. The plan so far is 3 auto-flowers from RQS but we'll see. Day 27: Nothing to report. Day 28: Last day for the week. Tomorrow I'll switch to 12/12 light schedule and send her into flower. Maybe a bit early, but with only one lady left I don't want to waste more time. So I can start my next adventure in about two month or so. I gave her another liter of water. Stats for the week: Temperature: 19.2°C - 25.8°C (66.6°F - 78.4°F) Humidity: 36% - 75% And she is 55cm (21.65 inch) tall

I'm excited to see how she'll doing. Tomorrow is feeding time. Day 30: With LED at 100% it gets pretty hot with around 26°C (79°F) and dry with around 35% humidity. Maybe my girl has not enough water. I watered her today with 1l water + nutrients for flowering (for the first time). I'll keep a close eye on humidity over the day and tomorrow. Day 31: She looks healthier. Humidity is at around 40% now and i gave her another 500ml pure water. Day 32: Damn, she is 77cm (30 inch) tall and looking good! Watered with 1l water + nutrients today. Day 33: 500ml pure water for today. She looks great... I think I love her... Day 34: From 77cm (30 inch) two days ago, to 90cm (35 inch) today... damn she is growing! Gave her 1l water + nutrients. Day 35: What a first week in flowering! It seems that she needs more water, so i gave her 1l pure water. I guess I stay with 3x per week feeding with nutrients and 4x per week with just pure water. On her highest point, she is now 1m (40 inch) tall. Its amazing to see her grow this fast, but I hope she stops now because my tend isn't that high with 1,80m (70 inch). Stats for the week: Temperature: 19.8°C - 26.5°C (67.6°F - 79.7°F) Humidity: 32% - 42%

Hope her stretching is done now... Don't have much more space. Now I see why topping/FIMing is a good idea. Gave her 1l water + nutrients for second week flowering. I think she looks great. Day 37: 113cm (44.5 inch). Had to reorganize the ACF to gain more space for my LED. 1l pure water today. Day 38: 120cm (47 inch). From now on i don't have 30cm distance from LED to the highest point of my girl. Hope she doesn't get burned. Watered her with 1l water + nutrients. Day 39: 126cm (49.5 inch). Watered with 1l pure water. Day 40: 132cm (52 inch). Watered with 1l water + nutrients. Day 41: 137cm (54 inch). Watered with 1l pure water. She is only a few cm away to hit the LED. What a monster... Day 42: 140cm (55 inch). Watered with 1l pure water. Significant less growth than the days before! Maybe she reached her limit or she stopped because she hit my LED (see bonus picture). Another week is done and so far I'm satisfied with my first grow. Stats for the week: Humidity: 34% - 60% Temperature: 19°C - 23.8°C (66.2°F - 74.8°F)

The bottom leafs starting to become a bit yellow, but the rest looks healthy so i guess this is normal. We'll see in the next days. Day 44: She stayed at 56 inch! I've bent the top behind LED, so she doesn't get burned. Because of the yellow bottom leafs I'd say she has a magnesium deficiency! So I'm adding 0.8ml Biobizz-CalMag to every watering! Day 45: 1l Water + nutrients. Day 46: 1l Water + CalMag. She started to smell a bit more. Day 47: 1l Water + nutrients. Day 48: 1l Water + CalMag. Day 49: 1l Water + CalMag. Another week done! She looks good. Still have yellow leaves on the bottom. Stats for the week: Humidity: 36% - 55% Temperature: 20.5°C - 25°C (68.9°F - 77°F)

Thanks! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 50 - 56 (06/17 - 06/23): Still have the problem with yellow/dying leaves at the bottom. I thought it is a calcium deficiency. Treated with extra CalMag (0.8ml like recommended) every day shows now effect. My guess was/is that my pH is off, so for the last few days i pH corrected water and water+nutrients. What i learned: My pure water has a pH around 7.3. (4x per week 1l) Water with all nutrients is around 5.5. (3x per week 1l) I've corrected them all to around 6.3-6.5. Or maybe this is normal because she thinks it is fall? Guess I'll open a question and let me help by professionals. In other news: This week was very hot outside. Up to 35°C (95°F). My tend peaked at 28.1°C (82.6°F). Otherwise she looks and smells pretty good. Stats for the week: Humidity: 41% - 71% Temperature: 18.2°C - 28.1°C (64.8°F - 82.6°F)

Only feeding her 2x per week with nutrients. 5x per week with just water. PH around 6.3 - 6.5 She smells wonderful! The main cola got a little bit burned from my LED, so i tied her softly to the side of my tend. Stats for the week: Humidity: 37% - 57% Temperature: 19.9°C - 26.7°C (67.8°F - 80.1°F)

Its getting pretty hot where I live. Peak was 35°C (95°F) outside. Coming week will be the last week with nutrients, after this only water. Stats for the week: Humidity: 34% - 52% Temperature: 21.4°C - 28.5°C (70.5°F - 83.3°F)

Now she only gets water. Maybe 1 or 2 weeks more till harvest. Stats for the week: Humidity: 34% - 64% Temperature: 20.8°C - 27.8°C (69.4°F - 82°F)

Started with 4 plants, 3 turned out to be male. So glad the last lady became this big. I've cut her maybe 1 week to soon, BUT: - the weather where I live was perfect, not to hot, not to dry - haven't smoked for 5 months... Sucks that I've no way to weigh her, maybe next grow. Now she is drying at around 19°C (66.2°F) and around 55-60% humidity.
