I soaked the bean in between paper towels until she popped and then I placed her between two half’s of a rockwool block. I have, yet again, redesigned my veg station. I had problems with the new roots drying out before they were long enough to extend outside the net pot. I increased the amount of water in the veg tank and added a pond pump with a fountain attachment and it works great. So now I have a spray system that can handle the solids in the Advanced Nutrients’ lineup!!!
LAUGHING BUDDHA™️ is an almost pure Sativa strain, created by crossing our pure landrace Thai Sativa with our Jamaican Hybrid. This plant has a longer flowering period, but will reward you with large, tight and heavy buds from a one metre tall plant. It will need to be supported in the last three weeks of flowering. Wow she just won’t quit. She is nearly as tall as Gorilla (week older) and she’s already pushing out her radial branches. Thanks again for following along with me.
She’s looking really good this week. I’ve removed some of the fans to open up the side branches to more light. I’m hoping that will get the radials up faster.
She will go to the flowering tent this weekend. She was hungrier in veg than I expected. I think she’s over the magnesium deficiency. I had planned for her and honey B to share a tank in flower, but I don’t think one of them would be happy, since their nutrient needs are so different, so I will keep them separate. Maybe I’ll throw a Quick Critical Plus in with each to fill the tank.
Nice growth this week. She has filled out nicely and I’ve supercropped her a few times to help even out the canopy. I can’t wait to see these buds develop.
She’s really looking great and started stacking up some buds. I’m really starting to 🤤 when I open the tent and see her!! Looks like she might need more calcium.
Oh my gosh she is so sticky the buds just keeps swelling if you brush up against her your sticky for hours and smell sweet. I can’t wait to see what she does in the next few weeks!
She has a very sweet smell like maybe fruit or pineapple with a hint of pepper and lemon. I’m really impressed with the cola and the tops on this plant she’s making some nice big sticky buds.
She is looking great. Her buds are swelling noticeably. She smells of pineapple, pineapple and more pineapple it’s like you just cut open a fresh ripe pineapple! I’ll be flushing her out next week for harvest on December 29th.

Great sativa high. Clear level high let’s you really stay on task while providing plenty of energy. Definitely one of my all time favorites! Sweet smelling like pineapple. Smooth smoke.
I didn’t get a good canopy on her. I only had 4 tops I usually have 8-16. She produced well in spite of my poor training with about 467g/m2. I’m sure she was capable of the advertised 600g/m2 with a full canopy.
@Nebula420, lemon with a hint of pepper very sweet smelling. Having to support branches and she has 3-5 weeks left! I’m thinking if the high is what I’m looking for she’s a keeper!!!!
@Ganjagrandaddy, I just can’t believe how big. Really impressive bud show with this one! I’ve read that the yellow around the leaf edge was probably a mild potassium deficiency so it’s possible that they should have been even bigger! 😲
@@Fingers, 🤤 describes it best!!!! But seriously I can smell a bit of orange peel some lemon and maybe a floral scent. I’m really not very good at smells or tastes (long time smoker).
i am worried now.lol i jave let my buddha ( grow caps test) grow in veg for 12 weeks due to waiting for other s to catch up in rdwc. She exhausted the sponsored grow caps spil and nearly died due to starving. i gave up the test and got on sorting her out. shebis huge and so full of leaf. seeing these beasts now has me worried she will take over. been flipped 10 days and already 1m manifolded monster.
will be preying you show how to tame these beasts before i get to same place.

i see what u mean with the dark glossy green leaves. jad an auto at start of this crop using " grow caps" that showed this all the way through till its pointless and virtually budless end. it produced zero smokable bud at all but was tall and thick. never for.ed buds because if this deficiency but i wanted to see the grow caps full capacity
@Tonino, yes. You will see some necrotic spots on some of the older leaves in next weeks update but not on the newer growth. She was much hungrier than Honey B.
@Tonino, no, do you recall d20? I think it’s was a deficiency and you are seeing the same leaves as before. I’ve increased the nutrients to 500ppm and think it’s all sorted. I’ll remove them before next update.
