Hello Growmies! I let the soil stabilize for 3 days leaving it in the sun and wetting it every day without sowing for now 13/05 The journey begins ☺️ 16/05 Germinated. It's a strange situation because strawberry pie still flowering and they are in the same growbox, so I have dimmered fc3000 to 50% for sure it's to much for the little one...

Grow Questions

Elpicorstarted grow question 2 years ago
The question is simply. The answer instead complex. Can I vegetate at 18 hours of light in a tent and then gradually go down to the hours of outdoor light to bring it to flowering without having to wait for September and October? Tips and tricks are welcome! Thanks in advance!

You can do that and I'm sure other do it as well to some extent. The only problem is that outdoors needs to have a uninterrupted dark cycle to say in flower and keep it there. Does not matter if you initiated the flower cycle indoors, if the light outdoors is greater then 12-13 hrs it can go back into veg or it can get stressed out and hermi. Ideally 12hrs uninterrupted dark period but can happen on 10 or 11hrs with some plants. If the light outdoors is already in a 12/12 like cycle, I don't see you gaining anything from bringing an indoor plant outdoors other then some hydro costs, the exposure to pests is more problematic to me. Plus if your light source indoors is not that strong and there was no fan present your tent the pant can be hurt by winds "branch snapping" and sun "burning leaves from stronger light" as its not used to the elements. will have to harden it off. means to explore the plant or plants to small periods of time outdoors working your want up to fully outdoors. works best in morning till just before noon when the light is the strongest. This will all depend where you are in the world as well. closer to equator the light cycle does not change much and is pretty close to 12/12 all year round. the more you move from it the greater it varies. Eg. in my location days are aorund 17hrs light and 7hrs dark in the summer. Then in winter it's opposite 7hr light and 17hr dark. Given that I live in a city the light pollution also affects my grow if growing photoperiod plants. Autoflower less so with light pollution just pests like aphids and mites. Good Luck!

Looking amazing! I will be starting in a few weeks with Biobizz as well, any tips? (I have the starter pack = root, grow, bloom, top max and heaven). Thanks! and amazing plants ;)

@DabblingDoggo, hello, thank you I hope to be able to keep it beautiful, not that I'm a great expert, it also depends on what type of crop you want to make eg. outdoor or indoor autoflowering , feminized or regular, medium, super soil or coco etc, but I try to tell you how I usually do. I use biobizz medium soil with humus and then I start with fishmix instead of biogrow because it can also be used as a spray and gives an extra boost with nitrogen, but grow is fine too. in the first two weeks root juice 2ml/lt and 1 ml/lt of bioheaven then you start with the grow+bioheaven, I suggest you also take the calmag unless your water naturally contains it.
