Plants seem to have just dropped into flower🎉 all seem healthy to me, just took a few of the bottom leafes off for the air to circulate better. What does everyone think? Do they look healthy for their age? 2x sugar mama are shooting up past the other 2

Hi @William137! Well, heat + high relative humidity usually lead to these symptoms. Either your lamp-to-plant distance is too short, or your airflow is not good enough. Try to have a slight and continuous breeze onto your babies and maybe raise your light up since you're currently having hot temperatures. Lowering the relative humidity might help but that's not the main priority (try to control heat+airflow first). Also, since you're growing in coco, your 5.0 pH level is a bit acidic, try to stick to the optimal pH range for coco, 5.3~5.8. The first weeks are the most important ones, especially with autoflowering strains, so try to react as fast as you can, keep us up-to-date and happy growing 👊

hey Bill Bradley, yeah man what may seem like a bit of leaf prunnen to you is actually HST to your girls. I mean you're rippen out a part of that plant. There's really very little logic behind defoliation - leaves absorb light much better than flowers that's why flowers make leaves actually. The plant basically absorbs light and photons then uses some plant magic to distribute that magic evenly across the plant, meaning that it doesn't really matter which side of the plant the light hits most, what matters is absorbing that light. So the more surface area your plant has the better and more energy it's getting. Defoliate - sure, but overdoing it will just stunt your grow or push back your harvest date. Looks fine now, let it bush out, just train the colas so they 're nice and straight, and enjoy the show ! good luck ! 🚀

Hello @William137 ! Watching for the hairs until they turn brown is not a precise way to decide if they are ready to harvest. You have to check the trichomes with a microscope like this one ( https://www.amazon.com/Microscope-Trichome-Identification-Cannabis-Magnification/dp/B01LZR1FEV/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1541371070&sr=8-18&keywords=cannabis+microscope ). Start flushing when you see amber trichomes and harvest when the trichomes are 80% milky and 20% amber. If you want a body feeling stone harvest when trichomes are 80% amber and 20% milky. Happy growing ! 👍

@William137, let the medium dry a bit, the wet/dry cycle is very important for roots to spread, although in coco it shouldn’t be 100% dry 👊

@Stick, thanks! Ive added a 2nd clip on fan and lifted my lifts up 5inches, they dont seem to be getting an worse so hopefully its done the trick! My pots seem very heavy and moist so i was going to give them 48hours untill their next feed, will that do any harm? Just worried about over watering them

perfect. if they grow that way leave them. there is noting like growing your own. looking good so far, keep the heat down the best you can. and in like 3 weeks or so you will see the buds get nice and mouth watering.
