I have a gorilla grow 4x8 Tent, that has the walls lined with Orca Film. There are 2 low cost Amazon 1000w HPS Bulbs ($30/bulb that i use 2 months then replace). I have 2 cool tube reflectors that I have lined the reflectors with the same orca film as the sides of the tent.
Im growing in a Ebb and Flow 5 gal bucket system which has 100% perlite. Using 2 parts of a 3 part fertilizer at 8ml/4L of micro and16ml/4L of bloom. Also Silica and calmag.
The clones were approximately 1 month old, and were on a flood and drain table in 1gal pots or solo cups filled with a 50/50 mix of perlite and coco coir. They have been topped with 3/4 tops each, before moving into the 5gal buckets.
Once transplanted i vegged for approx a week before flipping the lights to flower. I cut all the plants to the height of the lowest branch under the net. I then used a technique not heavily promoted on this site, removal of almost all lower branches, leaving all fan leaves and maybe 1-3 bud sites at the very top of each terminal stem. In this way the plant has only a few places to send all thegrowth, the top. I also pick the top 24-30terminal stems and remove anything more(depends how dense the plants grow, more indica plants tend to have less tops that ileave, the idea is to allow optimal penetration of the whole cola, with the least amount of over lap of fan leaves and optimal air flow). As the plants grow if a stem starts to gow taller then the surrounding, pinch it near the top (often ill pinch 5 or more in a screen) .
At the end of the week for the next 3, i will analyze the branches for growth. Any branch that grows away from the main terminal by more then 1 inch is removed. At first this is very unnerving and looks almost Frankenstein-ish. Also After the last trim, I lower a double screen over the plants and seperate them to allow penetration, air flow and little overlap of fan leaves. Take note of this, next grow you may have to allow more tops or less based on this.
Ended up with only about 25 tops under a double scrog. Finished after 60 days (could have taken down ~50days from flip.
Added THC tests (Cannalytics Supplys)
Looks like THC is between 21%-23% hard to tell for sure
Why does this site use g/w/plant vs gram/watt. It makes measuring multiple plants under a light look brutal. For example:
G/w/p = 0.1
G/w = 0.864
Or the calculation should be (gram total÷plant total) ÷ (watt÷plant total)
That way if you enter 1 or 9 the outcome is the same
Hello ! Well I saw Tazard do a math to know his G per w and his formula didn't show the same results as the GD one. I assume that it is to make a global review on the setup rather than doing a review of the yield. I think it is to make a difference between a setup that reach 0.8G/w with one plant and the same setup with the same G/w but with 9 plants. Only GD crew knows. I hope it will help you 😁👍
Vegged for 4 weeks, but in solo cups. Just topping to get proper amount of terminal stems. Check out my next attempt that I'm just starting. Attempting 2.5p
Yeah, it's hard at times. I run cool tubes and vent the tent as well. It's a lot harder in the summer that's for sure. I was sitting at 30c the whole grow, maybe 17c at night. But now that winter is starting, it's going to finally allow my thermostat that controls the fans to finally kick out. A lot easier to cool a tent with -30c then it is with +26c.
Very nice looking end product my friend. It looks like our Critical+2.0 did very well in your garden and I think this is the first time with independent THC test results 👊
Super cool to see 😎 and some beautiful Dinafem buds ready to be consumed ✌️
Congratulations on the harvest buddy and thank you for sharing your end results. Looks beautiful 👌
All the best
