Beginning germination. One AK-47 seed soaked in pH6 water for 24 hours then transferred to soil. Second AK-47 put directly into peat seed starter. On day two, a sprout appeared in the soil but nothing in the peat. On day three, still nothing from the peat. Decided to begin soaking another seed which will be placed in soil instead of peat. I really want two plants growing simultaneously. I am using Strawberry Fields soil. Light: MarsHydro 300W LED Grow Light Full Spectrum for Hydroponic Indoor Plants Growing Veg and Flower Plant is in a Hongruilite Hydroponic Indoor Grow Tent Room w/Plastic Corner (32''x32''x63''). Not adding nutrients yet. When I do, it will be Nectar of the Gods. Really want to have two plants going at once. On Day 3 with no evidence of growth from the peat, I soaked another see in pH 7 water. Day 3 began soaking another seed. Day 4 planted the seed, maybe. I may have dropped it. Day 4 prepared a slot with soil. Then when I picked up the seed to plant it, I couldn't tell if I got it in the soil or I dropped the seed. I had pressed it into the soil so hopefully all is well. Day 5. Water may be a little deep in the tray. Worried that I may be keeping the soil too damp. Humidity in the tent is only 34% and I'd accidentally left the cover off of the seed starter tray. Will see how things look tomorrow. In my impatience, I pulled the peat plug apart to find the seed whole and showing no desire to go to root. Added Strawberry Fields to a slot and replanted the seed hoping the looser soil will have a positive impact. Day 6: Still no evidence from the other two seed but the one at the bottom is starting to perk up. I removed some water from the tray on the thought that the soil was staying too damp. Day 7: Still no sign of growth from the other two seeds. Perhaps I planted them too deeply. Very surprised that one seed came up almost instantly and the other two haven't done anything.

Since the AK-47 is autoflowering, do I just leave the lights on 24/7? 18/6 from the beginning? 12/12? Switch schedules between veg and flower? Thanks.

Hello @burnerac! I always use 4/20 light cycle for autos but thats depend on you . The more hours the lights are on the bigger the yield. Although i wouldn't recoment a 24/24 cycle. Every living creature needs to have some rest. Also i don't thinks its worth it to make anything less than 18/6! Happy growing !👊

Still no sign of the other two seeds. I have raised one side of the tray to move water away from the soil to help reduce moisture in the soil. Day 10: I am getting the urge to dig up the nonsprouting seeds. Day 11: Noticed algae growing on my soil. Still no sign of growth from the other two seeds. Considering trying to sprout another. Day 12 - 14: Not too concerned about the algae. Should correct itself at transplant.

Day 29: Soil moisture seems fine. No need to add water yet. Day 30: Nothing spectacular to report. Soil still sufficiently moist. Day 31: Nothing remarkable to report Day 32: Houston, we have a problem! Added another gallon of water pH 6.5 with nutrients. I was surprised that the soil held moisture for so long. Felt very wrong. I raised the light. With the growth, it was only about 10 inches above the canopy. It is now closer to 20 inches above the plant. What is that leaf tip turning brown? Day 33: Nothing remarkable to report Day 34: No photograph Day 35: Adding 10 TBL of Nectar for the Gods One Shot to soil. Began training. I think this would be considered LST. One tent peg gives support at the bend. One tent pen is holding it bent over.

Hello ! Well your plants can be bend with the LST technique but as she was slow during the first weeks you should not top or stress the plant too much (not recommended but you can , it's up to you) . By trimming I think you mean defoliation , so I'm not a defo pro , in your case it would be unuseful as your upper leaves does not block the light to your lower stems , even the effected leaf don't need to be cut before 50% is damaged ( I go to 70% as the plant still sucking the energy out from the old leaves). The only training I would do at that stage is to pinch the main stem just under the new nodes to encourage secondery stems growth. Concerning your damage leaf it can be heat like bulbi told you but the edges of the leaves would be burnt too ( not only the tips) , I would no bet on a deficiency as you'r using plenty of fertilizer ( do you check your ec/ppm level ? you should grab an ec/ppm pen to do so , it will help you to feed better) , but your plant looks pale like a Nitrogen deficiency , weird to me. I hope it will help you 😁👍

Timelapse Days 21-34: Memory card filled up and I lost days 35 and part of 36. Day 36: No photograph. No longer centered under the light. I need more lighting. Day 37: plant taking to the training well. Almost time for another tent peg. Day 38: Still growing. Day 39: Worried this is mold. Added a gallon of water with nutrients increasing the nutrients to mid-vegetation. Overall I think the plant looks pretty healthy. Day 40: Turned the carbon filter on to promote air exchange. Day 41: Continued training. Day 41: Rushing the exhaust fan has reduced the humidity. Going to have to keep an eye on that.

I've basically thrown all training out the window. I am not doing much more than just letting it grow. The tent really needs more lighting but that isn't going to happen this grow. I presume that flowering will begin within the week. What do I need to be doing right now?

That's some monster plant; I would suggest that you try to force flowering by setting the light schedule to 12/12 if it does not start soon, but before that, prepare the canopy with some training, consider supercroping the taller tops, it's easier to keep the plant height in check with it compared to LST.

Added one gallon of water with early flower nutrients. One leaf has holes in it (not pictured). Will have to watch for pests. Day 68: Man this plant is thirsty. I don't want root rot so I will wait one more day for watering. One leaf has odd holes in it. It is directly in the path of the fan so I wonder if it is related to that. Hey @Burnerac! There are numerous problems occurring here. I will give you the best course of action in this time period. First thing is to flush your plant with PURE water PHed properly for 4-7 days . This allows the plant to clear its system of all the nutrients that have been building up and allows the soil to drain the nutrients out without adding more. Again - Only water. You are overfeeding Herculean Harvest at 15.62ml/L which is double the max amount at this stage.(3-8ml/L). I have attached some Championship diaries below that utilize Herculean Harvest so you can compare the amounts used. I believe this is the source issue that needs solved! Hope I helped Burnerac, please feel free to ask any more questions 😎 ------------------------ growdiaries.com/diaries/6274-germ-039-s-six-shooter/week/34184 ------------------------ growdiaries.com/diaries/2375-mephisto-skywalker/week/13624 ------------------------ growdiaries.com/diaries/1329-first-time-space-bucket-grow/week/8481

However, after last night's watering, she is a lot less droopy. Day 93: no pictures. Added one gallon pH6.5 water with 2 tablespoons Herculean Harvest. Hey there so I'm not certain of the foxtailing from the photos, it does seem at the day 126 i see a big bud that has the fist shape to it and another couple with the tall point out the top which could hint at fox tails. however i know my summer grows pretty much all had some relative fox tailing happen deep into flowering and I had pretty low humidity to deal with consistently....7-35% and fairly high heat 90+. If you have both the 300 watt and 600 watt going during flowering its possible they're getting it at those top most buds from heat/light stress. This isn't exactly bad other than the fact of heat/light stress i believe can start lowering the thc or affecting terpenes etc. I think your main battle will just be having a couple oddly shapped buds. Hope that may help a little, happy harvesting. ✌️
