Day 19 for these girls (day 12 for the small ones on the left). New coco has been kinda tricky to bring down pH wise but it seems alright now as growth is fast and healthy. I supplemented Epsom salt to prevent any future magnesium deficiency. Let’s see how much size they can pick up before going into bloom! I have a bag of Epsom salt i was considering using for soilless coir, like yourself. Mostly during flower for the boost of sulfur and mag. Was wondering how you like the epsom salts with soiless grow and if you've had any troubles with buildup. im guessing thats your practical replacement for calmag, and you have calcium already in your water supply.

@@TPYRD, right on the money! Tap water has enough calcium and the Epsom salt really works as a replacement. It’s just much more expensive than buying bottled calmag. But if you have no other option by all means go for it!

Bottom left showing deficiency, what’s your watering schedule? Ps I use concrete blocks to raise smaller plants canopy
Foggedaboudit
Foggedabouditcommenteda year ago
@BigDaddyK, Iron deficiency from high soil pH caused by new, taking long to develop a buffer coco coir. Didn’t stop them from growing fast though.
