Hi Growmies, Welcome to my new diary! First things first, a huge shout out to Patricia from the Zamnation, who was so kind to send me 3 packs of Seeds, of which two are my all time favorites: Nothern Lights & Sour Diesel :) I also chose a pack of Runtz, as I really enjoyed zkittlez as well as gelato on my recent trips to Spain. So the first of the tryfactor is Nothern Lights, which will start her journey in my small box under my GCx 5 solo for approximately 2-3 weeks until my Ambient Q80+ becomes vacant. In the big tent she will be planted in a 10x10x10 net pot filled with Speedgrow green cubes, nested on top of a 40l DWC and depending on her root system, a dripper will be used. Before I forget, Patricia also provided me with code that’ll give you 20% in their online store, just input ZAMMIGD2023 at checkout. Until then thanks for checking in and hoping to see you next week.

Hi Growmies, So far she is doing what she is supposed to. She popped her head out within two days and since then she has been growing nicely. I have switched on a little fan to make sure she gets sturdy enough. I have also transplanted her into her final net pot and nested her in a bed of Speedgrow green mini cubes and soaked her for 15 min in a 500 ppm ph balanced RO water. I would love to upload some videos, however this seems to be getting increasingly challenging on this website. Hi Growmies, I removed the starter leaves and slightly started bending the highest set of leaves to give the lower shoots more exposure. She looks a lot like a pure indica already, very pretty :) Her root system is developing amazingly as well! Hi Growmies, I topped her towards the end of this week and removed two sets of fan leaves. It opened the plant up very nicely in combination with the light LST I applied earlier in the week. The plant is taking very nicely to the LST and didn’t seem to care about the topping either. I attribute this to the strong root system she already has. For the next week I have fed her additionally to the canna nutes, some plant success orca, for healthier roots and Rezin from greenplanet to prepare her for pre flower. Hi Growmies, I feel I had a root issue, may have even been root rod. So as I saw a few of the very deeply submerged roots turning brownish and decay, I decided to generously cut away the affected areas and cleaned everything with hydrogen peroxide as good as I could and then properly rinsed the whole system. It seems, however, like she has started a whole new set of roots that started to submerge after I started feeding the orca from plant success (can be seen in the video below). Can highly recommend this product! She has also not show any signs of stress due the suspected root issues. Other than that she is a super pretty indica lady :) almost crazy how symmetrical she is. I have trained all main colas horizontally until the canopy had evenly opened up. Now I will let her grow towards the scrog and depending on her stretch, I will flip her at some point towards the middle or end of next week. HI Guys, she is not doing to well, she seems to have suffered from root rod, due to a clocked air pump filter (totally my mistake, didn't even now that this needed cleaning). Anyhow, very annoying, lots of cleaning and sterilising I hope she will bounce back and will give her another week to build new roots, if she however won't do that, I will terminate this one and pop another one, as I was actually looking forward to smoking her. It looks like she is already setting up a new set of roots, so 🤞. Up top she is now looking a bit droopy showing a few nutrient deficiencies, but still growing, however a lot slower than in the beginning. Thanks for stopping by and hopefully until next week.

Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. Overall she is looking very lush and healthy again, but still has some catching up to do. Here is the code that’ll give you 20% in Zamnesia‘s online store, just input ZAMMIGD2023 at checkout. Hey Growmies, she has bounced back phenomenally, so much that she has gotten extremely hungry. The feed shown here is the already the strong feeding suggestion, but I first saw a few leaves with a nitrogen deficiency, when I decided to up the veg nutes to pre flower levels, I now started to see signs of magnesium deficiency. I decided to add 10 ml more if calmag to the mix and will see if that’ll fix the issue. Other than that, she has started to develop a massive rootball and almost stretched by 12 cm. Will probably veg her for another 2 weeks by the looks of it and then flip her once she has filled the scrog. She is already starting to smell quite strong for her not even being in pre flower. I also want to point people in the direction of the photone app, a very helpful little helper that’ll help you getting a good guess of the ppms at your canopy. Big shout out to Patricia at Zamnesia for given me the chance to try this amazing strain. Here is the code that’ll give you 20% in Zamnesia‘s online store, just input ZAMMIGD2023 at checkout. Hi Growmies, She did not take well to the ec of 2.0 that I intended to feed her, so I changed the reservoir again midweek and went down to 1.6, after feeding her canna flush with RO water for 24 hours. She seems very forgiving, as she didn’t even get stunted by the lockout. 4 of the 8 shoots went through scrog and were super cropped underneath the screen. The others should catch up any day now and will be trained in a similar fashion. Rootball looks also amazing. I will experiment with continuously feeding her orca every 3 days, as it feels like the mycorrhizal inoculants seem to go down after 3 days and root growth slows down. Let’s see if it’ll work. Hi Growmies, She started to stretch underneath the ScrOG and is taking great to it. The side ranches are hopefully alle to fill the gaps between the main colas soon so that I can flip her. She is also getting quiet thirsty, leaving my reservoir in imbalance by day 5 or 6. I will continue to train her until the screen is filled and then flip her. Hi Growmies, I continuously scrog and defoliate her until the screen is filled (what shouldn’t take too long anymore). She is taking very well too the scrogging not getting stunned from all the bending and massaging. I think that’ll be her last week of veg. So as of next week I will flip her and initiate the preflower nutes, including Rezin and the boost accelerator from canna. Hello Growmies, I'm thrilled to update you on the plant's progress! In the last week, she has beautifully filled out the scrog. Just yesterday, I flipped her into the flowering stage. This means I'll slowly increase her feeding, although I don't plan to go too heavy on the nutrients since she seems to prefer a lighter touch. She's quite particular about her nutrients, requiring me to change the reservoir every five days. If I delay, she shows signs of distress on her leaves, but these issues resolve immediately after I refresh the reservoir. While she's stretching in the preflower stage, I'll continue to guide her growth into the empty areas of the scrog screen. Also, here's a special offer: use the code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store to get a 20% discount. Thanks for dropping by, and I'll share more updates next week!

Hello Growmies, The first week of flowering has wrapped up, and I'm pleased to report that she's stretched evenly through the ScrOG. I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Her root system is expanding robustly, gearing up for increased growth above ground. To support this, I've upped the dosage of Orca along with the boost accelerator. Here's a bonus for you all: enter the code ZAMMIGD2023 at checkout in Zamnesia's online store for a 20% discount. Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for more updates next week!

Hello Growmies, I'm back with some more updates from the heart of my garden as we journey through the second week of flowering! Our star plant is right on track, stretching beautifully as she enters deeper into the flowering stage. It's a delight to see her grow and evolve so perfectly. I've noticed some signs of tip burn, so I'm planning to reduce the nutrient levels even further in the upcoming week. It's all about finding that sweet spot where she's happiest and healthiest. This week saw her go through defoliation twice. Depending on her stretch in the coming days, I might go in for one more round of defoliation. Keeping a close eye on her growth to make sure every leaf and bud gets the light and air it needs. The first little bud-sites are beginning to show, a promising sign of the beautiful blooms to come. It's these small milestones that make the whole process so rewarding. And here's something for my fellow plant enthusiasts: use the code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store for a 20% discount. It's a great way to spread some joy and appreciation in our growing community! Thanks for joining me on this growing adventure. Your support and interest mean a lot, and I can't wait to share more updates with you next week. Here's to more growth and flourishing buds!

Hello Growmies, Welcome to week 14 of our Northern Lights journey with Zamnesia! Let's dive into what's been happening in the heart of my garden. Our Northern Lights beauty has finished her overall height stretching and is now focusing her energy on developing individual budsites. It's a pivotal moment in her growth cycle, signaling the start of detailed bud formation. This week, we've undertaken an extensive pruning session. All unfavorable budsites and excess growth have been removed, resulting in an airy and evenly distributed canopy. This strategic pruning ensures optimal light and nutrient distribution for each bud. The budsites are becoming more prominent and detailed, a clear indication of the plant's shift in energy focus. We're starting to see the early signs of what promises to be an abundant and healthy harvest. Following the recent adjustments, I'm continually monitoring and tweaking the nutrient mix to match the plant's evolving needs. Maintaining this balance is key to supporting her during this intensive growth phase. I'm thrilled to see your engagement and feedback. Keep those questions and tips coming! It's this shared passion and exchange of knowledge that makes our community so special. Your involvement is not just appreciated, it's a crucial part of this growing adventure. Remember, you can still use the code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store for a 20% discount. It's a great way to engage with our community and get some fantastic products. Thank you for being a part of this journey. Your support and interest are invaluable. Stay tuned for more updates next week as we continue to nurture and admire the growth of our Northern Lights. Happy growing!

Hello Growmies, As we step into week 15 of flowering with our Northern Lights by Zamnesia, the journey gets more intricate and exciting. Let's delve into this week's updates: Our Northern Lights star is proving to be quite finicky, especially with nutrient uptake. I've observed signs of lockout whenever the EC (Electrical Conductivity) level rises above 1.7. Thankfully, the pH levels are stable, so no concerns there. After some experimentation, I believe we've found her sweet spot at an EC of 1.5. This delicate balance is key to maintaining her health and vigor. Despite the challenges, she continues to develop beautifully. The buds are light yet densely packed with trichomes, creating a spectacular frosty appearance. It's truly a sight to behold as they cake up all around, showcasing the plant's remarkable genetic potential. One consequence of the recent nutrient lockouts is chlorosis, leading to a significant loss of leaves. It's a delicate phase where careful monitoring and adjustments are crucial to minimize further stress on the plant. The tent is now filled with a very sweet aroma, a delightful sign of the maturing buds. This scent not only signifies the quality of the buds but also adds an extra layer of enjoyment to our growing experience. Your continuous engagement and feedback are what make this journey so special. I look forward to reading your insights, questions, and tips. Your shared passion and knowledge are invaluable in navigating these complex stages of growth. Don't forget about the special discount code ZAMMIGD2023 at Zamnesia's online store. It's a great way to connect with fellow growers and enjoy quality products. Thank you for being with me on this adventure. Your support is a huge part of what makes this experience so rewarding. Stay tuned for more updates as we carefully guide our Northern Lights towards a successful harvest. Here's to healthy growth and aromatic buds!

Hello Growmies, Here we are at week 17 of flowering with our Northern Lights by Zamnesia, and the excitement is palpable. Let's dive into the updates from this incredible stage of growth. Our Northern Lights is flourishing beyond expectations. The buds are incredibly dense and continue to swell daily. This remarkable growth is a testament to the resilience and genetic quality of the plant. The trichomes are predominantly cloudy now, with a few beginning to turn amber. This is a crucial indicator of maturity and potency, suggesting that harvest time is approaching. The tent's aroma is becoming increasingly potent, a sign of the buds' maturing profile. I'm keeping the tent closed more often now to manage the strong smell. This intense aroma is a clear indicator of the quality and health of our plant. Looking back at the initial issues we faced, it's incredible to see how beautifully our Northern Lights has turned out. Her resilience and our adaptive approach have led to this stunning result. The EC level is now stable at 1.3, and she seems to be responding well to it. Over the next two weeks, I plan to gradually decrease the nutrient levels and then start the flushing process. This gradual transition is essential for the final quality of the buds. Your continuous support and engagement have been pivotal in this journey. Your shared experiences, tips, and encouragement have been invaluable. I'm eager to hear your thoughts and insights as we approach the final stages. Thank you for being part of this adventure. Your involvement has made this journey even more enriching. Stay tuned for more updates as we near the end of this flowering stage. Here's to the continued success and beauty of our Northern Lights!

Hello Growmies, As we enter week 18 of our journey with the Northern Lights by Zamnesia, the anticipation and excitement are at their peak. Let's delve into the latest developments from my garden. Our Northern Lights plant is displaying phenomenal growth. The buds are swelling and ripening beautifully, showcasing the success of our careful cultivation. Their density and frosty appearance are truly remarkable, indicating a high-quality yield on the horizon. This week marked the last phase of her receiving nutrients. I've meticulously managed the nutrient levels to support her through this critical growth stage, ensuring she received everything needed for optimal development. In the coming week, I'll be introducing Canna Flush to help remove any residual nutrients, preparing the plant for a pure and clean final product. Following this, she will be on a week of straight reverse osmosis (RO) water. This flushing process is crucial to ensure the final product is of the highest quality, with a smooth taste and pure aroma. Looking back at the journey so far, it's astounding to see how our plant has transformed, especially considering the initial challenges. Her resilience and our adaptive care have truly paid off. Your ongoing support, tips, and shared experiences have been invaluable throughout this process. I'm excited to hear your thoughts as we near the harvest. Your engagement makes this growing community a rich and rewarding experience. Thank you for being with me on this incredible journey. Your involvement has been a key part of this adventure. Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for the final stages and the much-anticipated harvest of our Northern Lights. Here's to a successful completion and a bountiful harvest!

Hello Growmies, As we bask in the success of our Northern Lights harvest, let's delve into the post-harvest process and look forward to the next steps. After making the decision to harvest, our Northern Lights underwent a rough wet trim. This initial trimming helped remove the larger leaves and prepared the buds for the drying process. While wet trimming can be challenging, it's a crucial step to ensure proper drying and curing. The buds are now in the drying phase, which is as critical as any other stage of cultivation. Proper drying is essential for preserving the aroma, flavor, and potency of the buds. I'm closely monitoring the humidity and temperature to create the ideal drying environment. In about a week, once the drying process is sufficiently advanced, we'll proceed with the dry trim. This finer trimming will help to refine the bud's appearance and remove any remaining small leaves. Dry trimming allows for a more precise and careful process, enhancing the overall quality of the final product. Meanwhile, the Biscotti by Zamnesia is nearing its own harvest time. I'm excited to bring you updates on this strain, promising another enriching growing experience. A big thank you to Patricia and the Zamnesia team for their support throughout this journey with Northern Lights. And, of course, a huge thanks to all of you, my Growmies, for your engagement, tips, and shared excitement. Your involvement has made this journey truly special. As we move forward with the drying and curing phase, and with Biscotti's progress, I look forward to sharing more insights and experiences. Thank you for being a part of this incredible adventure with Northern Lights, and let's keep the growing spirit alive! EDIT: Changed the final harvest weight, as I finally got my bubble hash bags and made another 25 grams of hash with it.
