JuanHaze_Arg As always, it germinates in a ice cream container inside a damp paper towel and with plenty of water on the sides so the paper towel never dries out. One day after planting it, it broke through the surface. The substrate was watered with at least 3 liters of water + Bioenhancer to give life to the substrate.

JuanHaze_Arg Day 23 09/24 is watered with 2 liters of plain water. Osmosis plus calmag plus a bit from the tap.
EC: 0.7 PH:5.8
First time in my 7 years of growing that I applied an apical pruning to an autoflowering plant. It's growing at a good pace and pistils are not visible yet. That's good in case it gets stressed from the pruning.
09/26 LST is done on the main stem which was already quite hard and thick.
09/27 is watered with 2.5L of water + calmag + 2ml x L only tek grow. PH:6.0 EC:2.0 No drainage to measure, insufficient water, maybe the next watering will be with 3 liters, to be able to measure and know how many salts we have in the substrate.
Last day of the week, signs of pre-flowering start to show on some stems.

JuanHaze_Arg She has very thick branches, seems to be comfortable, on the first day of the week she got a bit stressed, she was sad for about hours, it could be that the same day she was watered I applied a foliar spray, and this caused her to have excess water. Or maybe that day she was next to some speakers that are really loud and that stressed her out, I really don't know what happened but it's already been resolved!
On 30/09 she is watered 🚿 with 3 liters of water to collect drainage and measure how much she's eating. Watering water EC:0.8 PH:6.0
Drainage EC:2.1 PH:6.8
Minutes before the lights go out, the plant is sprayed with Biotrap (Bacillus subtilis) from Mamboreta, this is a beneficial bacteria to prevent many foliar diseases and a stimulator.
Next watering with bioEnhancer 😍
On 03/10 she is watered 🚿 with 2 liters of water + bioenhancer 1gr per liter. PH:6.1 EC: 1.0

JuanHaze_Arg Some pistils are starting to show at the tips of the stems. Good sign because this lady has grown huge. As the name big cheese suggests, she is big.
👉 Seeing her a bit stretched, I decided to add another 50W of warm LEDs and raised the lamp about 10 cm to adapt to the new color.

JuanHaze_Arg The big cheese is huge, as its bank says, she is big. Even with an apical pruning, she keeps growing and growing non-stop. It seems like all the varieties from mafia seed are tall plants! I was on vacation for a few days, so I left the garden in the care of a friend, and I was surprised when I came back and saw her size; the biggest and lowest leaves that weren't getting light were removed.
10/16 watered with 3 liters of osmosis water + cal mag until reaching ec0.4 + tap water + 2ml/L of solo tek bloom.

JuanHaze_Arg On 10/29, I watered with water + cal mag (I switched the calcium from Top Crop, which is mineral, to Biobizz, which is organic) for this last stretch of flowering, to improve the final flavor of the flower. Seed Mafia does great things! These outdoor plants are surely giants and super producers. The flowering seems more like a photoperiod than an autoflowering. It's slow flowering. But I like it because it already has resin on the tops of the buds.
On 10/31, I watered with water + cal mag until reaching EC:0.4 + 0.5g per liter of Trico + PH:6.2 EC:0.7.
On 11/2, I watered with water + cal mag until reaching EC:0.4 + 1.5ml per liter of Solo Tek Bloom PH:6.2 EC: NONE, the EC meter battery ran out.
JuanHaze_Arg Well, I'm taking care of this plant with very little enthusiasm, I don't like the genetics, the flowers are small with little development, wide leaves, and quite a few short trichomes. At first, I thought it was the light, but now half of the plant is under a full-spectrum lamp and there's no difference in shape or size of the flowers; they are compact flowers with small bracts. I feed every two waterings. I'm stopping the watering schedule since I don't have time to load all the info. It's very big, but its sister covers it up with the smell.
11/14 watered with 0.1 gr/l of monster bloom
11/16 watered with 1ml/l of solo teck bloom
From now on, just water with calcium magnesium until it finishes maturing. I think I've over-fertilized it! Some old leaves have started to turn a bit yellow, probably because I switched the calcium magnesium from top crop to biobizz; the first one is nitrate-based (derived from nitrogen) and the second is more organic with no added nitrogen.
There's a slight increase in size regarding the flowers; the bracts are still small, but there are many!

JuanHaze_Arg It drinks a lot of water, dries out very quickly, and started to yellow the bigger leaves. I water every other day, last watering on 11/21 with trico+. The branches are falling from the weight of the buds, I don't identify the smell as cheese, it smells stinky but not like cheese! Maybe when it matures a bit more, the smell will change!

JuanHaze_Arg We started washing the roots, applying detox and osmosis water at the correct pH. The flowers are fattening up and becoming more beautiful, even without amber trichomes, the plant surprised me in this last stage, forming the beautiful flower, characteristic of seed mafia, the fox tail. With short but well-filled trichomes.
Waiting for the moment to cut, the runoff measurement is 0.7 EC, next waterings will be with rainwater to clean the entire substrate.

JuanHaze_Arg This is really getting good! Hahaha I love these buds!! Just watering with osmosis water to keep cleaning the soil. It seems like this is the last week. I'm waiting for the moment the water intake decreases and I’ll chop. Very happy with the size of the buds, smells great!
El efecto de los cogollos es bastante fuerte, superior al de otros bancos, el sabor a queso solo se siente en el porro, cuando se vapea se sienten más olor a flores silvestres, muy olorosa. Rica y sabrosa. Me encanto esta variedad. Exelente producción y rendimiento

JuanHaze_Arg It was a fun cycle, she grew vigorously every day, with high internodal spacing. The buds swelled up huge. Very stinky. I had to tie the branches with string because they were falling, excellent yield, excellent flavor, slightly spicy with a hint of Diesel in the background. It was the first time I applied an apical pruning to an autoflowering, and the plant didn't even notice the pruning, it grew huge and even. I will definitely repeat this grow.
@Lemonhazelover, thanks buddy! Growing until the end! Hopefully, your buds fatten up a bit, it's a weird flowering, like it's a photoperiod. I've never tried a cheese. So eager to give it a try!
@nonick123, thanks buddy! I always think of you every time I light up this strain, my girlfriend says that when I spark the joint it smells like cheesy snacks from the bags!!! But it smells really good overall and hits hard.
@nonick123, it looks delicious and yes, it smells like cheese now! I put the magnifying glass between the buds and got whiffs of cheese, it even got impregnated in the magnifying glass! I didn't have much faith in this plant and it shut me up! It made some huge and long buds, so heavy that I had to staple the leaves to keep it standing! Impressive, thanks for always being there, my friend!
@nonick123, thanks buddy! The truth? It doesn't smell much yet, the companion is too sweet and doesn't let me appreciate the smell of this one, but soon the cheese smell will start coming out! Hahaha I hope so!
@Herbie101, fantastic! It sucks!!! Hahaha I don't know what happened, it suddenly turned yellow, probably the calcium magnesium change was to blame but we're in the home stretch now, I'm going to water only with water until it's done to have clean weed, I estimate it has at least 3 weeks left.
Wow buddy!! super nice buds
What an amazing grow so far - good job and well done 🤝
Happy Growing & cant wait for your upcoming weeks 🌱
Cheers, Bud Boutique 👩🌾💚💚💚
@Sammuray, I would like to switch to hydro, but I also like soil. I'm gradually adding coconut fiber to the substrate to get used to the watering and eventually switch to coco at some point. You need fertilizers that work in hydro, and unfortunately, I don't have the money to invest these days.
One day I'll try it! hahaha thanks, buddy! good smokes!
@morganfreeman420, yes! I’m starting to use reverse osmosis water with EC 0.0 and I’m using a product to chelate the salts. It seems to work. For at least 3 weeks.
