S07: Tropical Tangie by Dutch Passion

Okay guys, so here the deal. A few things happened over the last week. First, I was using the Connoisseur line of Advanced Nutrients and something felt not right (not stating that it's the nutrients fault). Second, it turned out that my air stones in the hydro setup gave up on me and made my plants drown over the whole period. I didn't know what was up with them, but the moment I bought and placed new quality air stones into the reservoirs, all the deficiencies went away in a matter of 24h which was ridiculous because I've never seen this kind of jump in vigor. I was using the BoomBoom spray from Bio Tabs over the whole period multiple times a day and i strongly believe that this made my plants survive. I'm also using my trusted Co2 bags because they made some huuuuuge leaves. I topped all plants in hydro and we're off to a new chapter in their life. I'm going to wait a week or two with the idea of topping them several times because I love to top plants, regulars or automatic ones, I don't care and it never was problem for the folks out there that don't top their automatic plants :) Everything is working great! I've exchanged the whole reservoir with the whole Xpert Nutrients line of products because they just came in. So thanks again Xpert Nutrients for this whooping package of bad ass products! I'll use them wisely ;) Now, let's cross our fingers for a quick recovery (which normally lasts 24-48h in hydro instead of a week) so I can top'em again. See ya!

Sup guys! What a great weeeeeeek we have behind us :D I made some great adjustments to the flowering room before firing it up (just check out the first few photos from the crowdy before and after). I've sterilized the whole room and got me some great new fans, a CO2 bag, I got rid of the old ass filter because I figured that I don't need one anyway, I added a new pump to power great new water stones that will bubble up the water in both reservoirs like a motherfucker (after the old ones almost failed me and made my plants drown) and I adjusted power cords so they're easier accessable. I also connected the veg room to the flowering room with a pipe and a special fan that extracts the air from one room into the other which from there is pumped out by the heavy duty turbine. It all works perfectly and I'm very happy how much better everything is set up now :D So, I've also transplanted the photoperiodic plants and topped them again, defoliated where defoliation was needed and have put these bendy clips on'em branches (they are so bad and often cut into the branches, I might design a product by myself to make my work with plants a lot easier). I also rolled, bent and pinched the main stem on all plants to make them work harder since they're in hydro :D I spray'em with the Boom Boom spray daily and finally switched to the whole flowering product range from Xpert Nutrients. Can't wait to see how good these nutrients are! So here it is. I'm super happy to be able to work with plants in a perfectly cut environment to my liking :) Aaah, btw. I'll buy new scrog nets for the veg and flowering room because the old one gave up on me and it's time for new ones. So that's gonna be a neccesary upgrade for this coming week. Hi y'all! so the first week went by in its new habitat aka the flowering room. I wonder how long these plants will need to initiate preflowering. I defoliated her slightly and left her grow a little bigger. I also used wires like the other girls to define its final shape in the coming weeks. Hi guys! Welcome to an update on the Tropical Tangie. So this past week I've been busy preparing all my plants for the scrog net that's why I've LST and HST practically all plants. I tried to mainline them so they would be able to tak full advantage of the light. The right reservoir is more crowded because I have 3 plants in there but after defoliation and manipulation, I successfully spread out all the plants. After defoliation I've treated it with my trusted BoomBoom Spray from BioTabs to give her a stress relief serum. And it worked. No plants are showing any symptoms of stress nor deficiencies. It's great :D It was the last heavy defoliation, so from this day on, I'll go easier on all of them. Can't wait til my scrog nets arrive and I'll make sure that they stay spread out that way :D Tropical Tangie seems to be very happy now :D See you next time! XOXO Cremo

Hi guys, welcome to another update on the Tropical Tangie! as all the other plants in the flowering room, this plant looks also super healthy and happy! I've defoliated her a bit to the heavier side and uncovered all the beautiful bud sites that needed to be uncovered! Even though she's in the corner, she is spread out greatly and enjoys her space. Can't wait for flowering to kick in in full speed because I already want to start shooting it in high quality! She looks as healthy as she can be. The whole flowering room looks amazing to be frank! Hi guys! The tropical Tangie is coming along very nicely. It seems that she'll be a faster flowering one compared to the other photoperiods. She develops crazy bushy pistil laden buds and I can't wait to see the grow bigger and bigger :D She looks awesome and doesn't show any signs of stress nor deficiencies! I defoliate her only slightly just to uncover new bud sites when needed. Can't wait to see her in around 3 weeks, how the bud formation will look. See ya next time. XOXO Cremo

Hi guys, here'e an update on the Tropical Tangie. It seems that this one will be ready for harvest earlier than the other bunch in the flowering room. She has more pistils and has more trichomes than most of the other plants here. That's good with me because I can already smell an end to it, and I can't wait! :D The flowers are fattening up, just like every other plant at this stage. Tropical Tangie is probably the best smelling strain this season. Can't wait for all these buds to dry and cure because I'm really curious how the smell and taste will evolve :)
