Disclaimer: I fill my diaries on the go and update them during the week. So if you like to get all the information and pics of innocent plants getting the herbie101 treatment, always check back on the last week to get the FULL picture (of a grower trying hard not to kill his plants). Thank you, have a wonderful week and happy growing!
plans for the flowering phase: Its flowering time my dudes! So the timers are set to 12-12. I'll let the lights run during the night (8pm to 8am), because i think i can benefit from better temperatures. When to lights run at 100% it'll add 2Β° to the overall temperature. So i can compensate for that with the lower nighttemps, so we can stay between 26 and 28Β°. At least in theory.
I took out one humidifier, because i think i want to stay between 55% and 60% humidity. With temps at around 24Β° this would be spot on vpd-wise. And i don't want to be higher in humidity because of mold, so my best bet is to get the temps as low as possible so i can get the humidity as low as possible.
So about height management: The ladies are about 20cm long (5cm Mainstem, 15cm branches), we got about 60cm of upward space. So they can grow 60cm upwards max, if we keep the distance from canopy to lights at 40cm. I think i'm pretty confident that there should be plenty of space for the girls to stretch.
For the first two weeks the ladies will get the same food. Because for the first few weeks they won't need blooming nutrients. We'll introduce that when stretching slows down.
So the plan for this first week of flower will be to continue LST and keep arranging the branches with the main goal to give them as much light exposure and airflow as possible. The other tricky thing will be to further adapt to their watering needs. I need to adapt the amount of water when feeding. Last week they drank 2l and were dry on the third day. I want to give them enough water to have at least two days between feeding, so we can provide the ladies with a dry cycle of at least one day between waterings.
Day 42/F1: So the girls had their first night of 12-12 and that means they are ready for flowering (or they have to be). Timing is very good and i'm hyped for this week! We set up the mainline in week 3 and topped again on week 4. I hope Caps broken arm will not hold her back, but time will tell. Things are looking good and i'm more than happy how this run went until now. I gave them 3l of nutrient water and we'll see how long they take to absord it. And i adjusted LST. I upped the light intensity to 80%, letting them adjust a few days before i put it up to 100%. I don't know if it makes a difference for the plants, but it just feels more natural.
If they go hogwild on stretching i may turn the lights to max earlier, just to contain the growth a bit. But at the time i'm not worried about it.
Day 43/F2: Man the new time schedule is killing me! The waiting time to open up the tent is just horrible! They've already brighten up noticably and look pretty healthy. I didn't do any lst adjustments today, but i plucked a few leaves because i couldn't controll the urge. But i think they managed the switched timeschedule pretty well and we'll see how things go in the next few days.
Day 45/F4: So the ladies are healthy and thirsty. They are almost dry on day three after the last feeding. So we're gonna stick with 3l and raise the amount per feeding next week. From now on i'm gonna switch from fishmix to biogrow for the rest of the flower. The growth was not massive, but daisy clearly grew more than cap. But thats fine so far. I just them go at the moment and do more LST until the colas reach over the canopy. For now it seems just fine.
Day 46/F5: The young women seem to be allright. I plucked some leaves to expose the budsites more to the lights and checked for threats. But it seems all fine. We take thatπ
They got enough water, temps are between 25Β° and 17Β°, humidity between 50 and 60%, light still at 80%. So i need to get the room a bit warmer during the day to push the nightemps over 18Β°, but besides that i think we're fine.
Day 47/F6: Now they're going! They did a good stretch over night, so i gotta adjust LST a bit for flattening out the canopy. Spending a little time in the garden! I love itπ I plucked some leaves (again), i hope they won't mind. Now they are spread out and ready to grow again. The hazey smell already lingers around. Tasty tasty! π
@Herbie101, hallo schaue mal bei ACE SEEDS vorbei die haben sehr viele und schΓΆne old school Sativas aber auch neue Sorten und sehr gut beschrieben sogar Labor test bei manchen Sorten.
@@OimRausch, Echt? Klasse! Wieder was gelernt, Danke dir! Und ja klar: Original ist immer besserπ Aber ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Interpretation von den Rippersπ
@Herbie101,
Superstrains wΓ€r die Originale.. ich hat n Diary ΓΌber die gemacht.. tolles Zeug..Rippers Amnesia is auch super nice, aber die Originale ist besserπ
@HippyHemulen, I never tried dutch passions amnesia, but the fucke up short memory was real with the amsterdam amnesia i got over there. Such a fine smoke with a nice euphoria. Would be awesome if the ripper haze would scratch that itch. More of the stoney "what the fuck did i wanna do here"- moments. Lovin it π
I'm very curious about the sour ripper as well! I love the classic old school strains brought up to new life. I also wanna try barneys acapulco gold, but my growspace is just too tiny for all the things i want to grow! ππ
@Herbie101, Sour ripper is my watchlist cause im sour lover and ofc their classic Zombie kush need to be tested too. You tried Dutch passions Amnesia? Atleast they claim its original amnesia? Smoked many years ago some amnesia what was imported from Holland and that really fucked short memory like name says what i remember. π
happy growing, Herb!π
Keep spoiling themπ, they will reward you for your love with some beautiful, shiney, frosty, fat budsπ

@D33jW, Thank youuu! I would love to be better at it. But comes time, comes experience! But never forget to have fun with what you doing.π happy growing buddy!π±ππ
Followed, look forward to watching your grow. Amnesia Haze ehh? I may need to give this strain a try some day... I've heard great things and am a fan of super lemon haze.
@Browncoatgrows, Thanks a lot! I'm very happy to have you! If you like SLH you should try Amnesia! My wife was a lemon haze lover 10 years ago and Amnesia is by far her favourite strain now. They don't taste that different as far i can remember, but Amnesia has just that special twist (and a lot of nostalgia) which makes it unique for me.
@@justsomedude420, Thanks a lot buddy! π Yeah that's such a great moment! I still have doubts about the third one in this run, but two plants are enough π
