Disclaimer: I fill my diaries on the go and update them during the week. So if you like to get all the information and pics of innocent plants getting the herbie101 treatment, always check back on the last week to get the FULL picture (of a grower trying hard not to kill his plants). Thank you, have a wonderful week and happy growing!
plans for the week: For the second week of flower, i'll let them grow grow grow. We have plenty of space for them to stretch upwards. I hope they'll do 😊 I will introduce flowering nutrients this week, but we start slowly. Lights will run 100% from this week onward and besides that there will just be a little leaftucking, leafplucking and watching them go. If needed i'll adjust LST on single branches, but for now less is more again. 😂 We're on track, we're not facing major troubles at the moment and the girls do great! Happy times!
Day 49/F8: So the plants grew happily for their first week of flower. The budsites are lighting up and they stretched noticably. I removed a little leaves every two days and adjusted LST a little. This week i'll let them chill more and focus on growing. They are still moist enough in the deeper parts of the pot, but they'll be dry tomorrow. They got their last watering on day 45, so i'd estimate they drink around 0.8l per day.
Daisy is growing a bit faster than Cap at the moment. She still holds the lead. I got some fungus gnats, try to battle them with stickies. But they are not many. I guess a bit less water may be beneficial for fighting them, because the topsoil dries out faster. Maybe i'll go again with 3l tomorrow instead of 3.5.
Day 50/F9: Sooo the ladies are dry today, so they are getting some nutewater. I'm gonna go with less water, to let the topsoil dry out faster than last time. So i'll try to cycle faster between the waterings to up the oxygen intake and fight fungus gnat infestation. I want to slowly adapt, so i go for 2.5l per plant for this feeding and then go down another 0.5l next time. Thanks to @nonick123 who inspired me to speed up the watering cycle!
Besides that, i did not touch the plants today (except a little check up). What a demonstration of self control! 💪
Day 51/F10: I just love this time during flower, when the plants greet you with a nice wave of hazey smell when you open the tent. Far off from pungent, but intense enough the get a nice idea from their early profile. Its just pure joy! The plants themselves seem healthy, colour is okay, still some fungus gnats. Temps are still on the lower side during the night (18°), but i think its okay. 26° during daytime is pretty ideal and humidity hovers between 40 and 55%. So everything seems fine and it would be the wisest to just do nothing today. And so it shall be (besides just sitting there, staring at plants for a couple of minutes)
Day 52/F11: There is a little stretching goin on! I checked up on them, i sat with, i left them chilling. Woozaaa! Everything looks quite good. The upper half of the soil is dry, there is still good moisture in the bottom. So tomorrow is feeding day!
Day 53/F12: The ladies got 2.5l of fresh nutewater (6.5 PH). Cap is looking a bit droopy today, but looks healthy besides that. Maybe she just needs a drink, i'll check back on her later. Temps are between 20° and 28°, humidity between 40% and 60%. Not perfect, but good enough for me. Daisy is a chunk bigger than cap by now. Really impressive!
Day 55/F14: Sooo Cap is still a tiny bit droopy and had some (just 2-3) burnt leaf tips. She just looks a bit unhappy and i don't have a clue why. Not supersad, but not happy either. But it's still fine, i'll just keep an eye on her. She isn't growing as fast as daisy as well. Daisy does great. She's just doing her thing and is loving life. Tomorrow is watering day again!
@Herbie101, hallo schaue mal bei ACE SEEDS vorbei die haben sehr viele und schöne old school Sativas aber auch neue Sorten und sehr gut beschrieben sogar Labor test bei manchen Sorten.
@@OimRausch, Echt? Klasse! Wieder was gelernt, Danke dir! Und ja klar: Original ist immer besser😜 Aber ich bin sehr gespannt auf die Interpretation von den Rippers😁
@Herbie101,
Superstrains wär die Originale.. ich hat n Diary über die gemacht.. tolles Zeug..Rippers Amnesia is auch super nice, aber die Originale ist besser😜
@HippyHemulen, I never tried dutch passions amnesia, but the fucke up short memory was real with the amsterdam amnesia i got over there. Such a fine smoke with a nice euphoria. Would be awesome if the ripper haze would scratch that itch. More of the stoney "what the fuck did i wanna do here"- moments. Lovin it 😂
I'm very curious about the sour ripper as well! I love the classic old school strains brought up to new life. I also wanna try barneys acapulco gold, but my growspace is just too tiny for all the things i want to grow! 😭😜
@Herbie101, Sour ripper is my watchlist cause im sour lover and ofc their classic Zombie kush need to be tested too. You tried Dutch passions Amnesia? Atleast they claim its original amnesia? Smoked many years ago some amnesia what was imported from Holland and that really fucked short memory like name says what i remember. 😊
@D33jW, Thank youuu! I would love to be better at it. But comes time, comes experience! But never forget to have fun with what you doing.😁 happy growing buddy!🌱🌞🍀
Followed, look forward to watching your grow. Amnesia Haze ehh? I may need to give this strain a try some day... I've heard great things and am a fan of super lemon haze.
@Browncoatgrows, Thanks a lot! I'm very happy to have you! If you like SLH you should try Amnesia! My wife was a lemon haze lover 10 years ago and Amnesia is by far her favourite strain now. They don't taste that different as far i can remember, but Amnesia has just that special twist (and a lot of nostalgia) which makes it unique for me.
@@justsomedude420, Thanks a lot buddy! 😊 Yeah that's such a great moment! I still have doubts about the third one in this run, but two plants are enough 🍀
