Hello and welcome to another diary! This time I’m growing a fem biscotti by zamnesia seeds for the Power Buds contest. Also I’ll be using the Plagron products supplied for flower. Thank you to Zamnesia & Plagron for the contest pack! 👍
Biscotti germination:
Using dechlorinated water, with a drop of humid acid in it, I soaked the seed in a cup at 22 degrees C, in the dark. 2 days later, the seed was germinated. I sowed straight into soil from there.
The soil I’m using is used light mix, refreshed with 10% worm castings. I’m using a 16L pot and I pre soaked the soil before planting the seed.
She took 3 days to sprout 🌱

Hello and welcome! Week 4 of veg has been another good one. I defoliated the large fan leaves from the main stem and topped under the 7th node. I also upped the calmag because I remembered I’m using recycled soil that was flushed.

Hello and welcome! This week sadly I discovered some male parts growing under and amongst a lot of female flowers while I was defoliating.. 😫 I thought it might have been stress but now I’m pretty sure it’s a genetic hermaphrodite after doing some research.
My only course of action is to rip it up, bag it up, and start something new as I don’t want male pollen anywhere near my other tent. ☹️ such a damn shame because this plant was doing so well.. arrgh

It’s a Christmas miracle! So it turns out there wasn’t actually male flowers among the female flowers! I jumped the gun on that one. There was just the few balls lower down on a couple of branches, which I gently removed. I had to wait a couple weeks to make sure but I haven’t spotted any more since🤞woo! 🤞
