Here we go again with another RQS run! Photo this time with Royal Runtz and SK1! Let’s see how this goes! Germination went great with 6 seeds outta 6 popping in just 24 hours!
End of week 4. Still dealing with stubborn coco pH but it’s getting better by the day. Normal growth seems to have resumed and deficiencies are under control. Started some LST on the more advanced plants. Let’s see how next week goes!
First week of flowering in the books! Nice growth, most phenos are short/bushy. Performed a little lollipopping and light defoliation on some, left the rest untouched until the end of the stretch phase. Let’s go!
Day 19 of bloom. Ship is sailing smooth. Very light defoliation. Plants are praying up to Mars Hydro, the (g)roman divinity. Buds are starting to show. Canopy is thick and covered with tops.
Day 26 of bloom. These girls are done stretching and are all starting to stack on flowers. Added a little boost of PK and amino-acids from a few Plagron additives I’ve just received. Everything looking dandy so far!
Day 40 of bloom. The stench is so loud it smells like a juice bar in here! Out of 5 Runtz plants I can already distinguish 4 distinct phenos. Two that smell like pure candy (probably the zkittlez influence), one that smells like earth, mint and baked goods (very reminiscent of thin mint gsc or even dosidos), one that smells like straight cherry coke and one that smells exactly like Gelato 33 (citrusy and fresh)! So yeah, pretty excited.
Flush is on! A gallon a day each of pH’ed tap water for the next week and a half to 2 weeks. Fall colors galore incoming! One is already going mad purple as I started it on the flush a bit earlier.
What a grow this has been! 4 very different phenos out of 5 plants! 2 zkittlez leaning specimens, 1 gelato 33, 1 wedding cake and 1 that smells like cherry coke and Tabasco! Just crazy! And the Colors too! I don’t give this strain 10 stars because the yield seems to be a bit on the conservative side, not to mention their quite delicate nature, but quality-wise, this is up there with the very best stuff I have ever had the opportunity to grow! Great job RQS!
Nice little old-school kush. Reminds me of the good old days of Moroccan blonde hash and pakistani olives. Very fresh and herby too. The small one I grew just for fun in a 0.4 gallon pot has a distinct lemoniness to it. Great stuff for the price!
Looking super healthy, and this is that rinsed coir?
Whats your process for rinsing to reuse your coir/perl?
Do you just use water, or anything like florakleen and do you re-buffer with calmag?
@@TPYRD, I flush with pH water at 5.5, loosen the coco then I fill the pots individually. Once the pots are filled I re-buffer with calmag at the same pH, making sure the coco Nevers goes dry. Then I plant my seedlings. Hope that helps.
@@TPYRD, this is the second run in this coco and yes I rinsed it, amended it with a little more perlite. Whatever you do always keep your coco wet so that pH doesn’t drift up.
