Hold onto your gardening hats, folks, because Week 8 in the whimsical garden journey has been nothing short of a leafy fiesta! The plot thickens as my green squad, now proudly donning their short and sassy looks, has been upgraded to a botanical penthouse – it's like they're living in the Ritz-Carlton of the plant world.
Adding to the comedy, the "Raspberry Boogies," a.k.a. the funky twerking trio of plants, got their own VIP tickets to the Penthouse Party and were repotted into new, luxurious homes. They're probably busting out their best leafy dance moves, celebrating their upgrade from regular Joes to the Beyoncés of the tent.
But of course, no horticultural sitcom is complete without a few twists and turns. This week, one of my green comrades sported a discoloration that could rival a psychedelic concert poster. After playing detective once again, I discovered the culprit – a faulty pH reader! It's like my plants were staging a botanical protest, demanding accurate pH readings or threatening to go full tie-dye.
And because life in my garden is an ever-evolving comedy, I suddenly had a revelation that maybe, just maybe, my plants were craving a bit more nutritional love. So, like a plant parent on a mission, I upped their nutrient dosage to what the company suggests – it's like giving them a gourmet leafy feast, and I can almost hear their tiny plant cheers of "More nutrients, please!"
Despite the leafy drama, all six ladies have proven to be the real MVPs of adaptability. They've settled into their new penthouses, embraced their short and sassy looks, and are now thriving like botanical rockstars on a world tour. As I stand there, gazing at my green kingdom, I can't help but feel like a proud plant parent who has navigated the twists and turns of the horticultural comedy with style.
Stay tuned for the next episode of "The Penthouse Chronicles" – where the Raspberry Boogies lead the dance floor, the pH readers are on probation, and the nutrient levels are cranked up to eleven. Because in the world of my garden, every week is a new leafy adventure! 🌿🎉🌈
@StarfishSmallBatch, Yes, this is my first grow and all have been grown from seed. Unfrotunatley my setup isnt there yet where I can pull clones - thats my next step. I wanted to see how this grow is going and how " I'll do". As of now, I am happy. I learned alot during this grow and cant wait to apply my lessons learned to my next grow. I have been comparing my buds to similar grows and I do feel mine look insanley chuncky haha... bro, i am so excited to finally chop and smoke these.
I did step up my entire cannabis game the past few months. I just invested in a humitor to ensure my stuff remains fresh after harvest. I know as of now its not so familiar in our space, but humitors are the way to go. Check it out!! I got the 48L from
@THCpapa, nice work for your first grow. I stuck two five gallons and a 3 in a 2x2 tent with minimal control. Shockingly the results sucked. lol.
Keep up the good work.
@Mekster, Thank you! I am new to this grown thing and am only youtube educated in this. Intension was topping her but I might have done it a bit early, and now i am speading her (sounds kinky lol) so she can let more light inside of her

@StarfishSmallBatch, Appreciate the check up brother! I watch you grow very closely and learned a few things from you (such as the mag deficency on leave color)
Weed will always be mesmerizing. Truly a beautifully diversed plant, which has so much to offer, we'll probably never fully understand how amazing these beauties are and what untapped potential they have! The community is top notch... this never gets old.
Awesome job so far, keep it goin.
Back again I noticed the same exact thing with my plants around this time where they really wanted the nutes! I've heard raspberry boogie produces large branches and big nugs, so it does make sense!
Cheers to week 15 @THCpapa. I can't get over how large and in charge this pheno is! The nugs will probably be super long! Some of those fan leaves are throwing nine fingers! What a sign of great health! Can't wait to see this one a couple weeks down the line!
