Alga Bloom - PLAGRON.
Alga Bloom 4 mll
This is 8th week (I planted the seed on Aug 16 but I just discovered this website now). Plant is doing great considering the struggles I'm constantly causing her! It almost looks like the less I'm trying the better is she doing 😕 It is 3rd week of flowering and it started to smell, but very gently so far. I'm using Plagron Alga Bloom (4ml/l) once a week - she just received a second dose. Water consumption differs a lot from week to week due to wind/temperature conditions (I had her on balcony until last week) but having her indoor, I expect this to settle down (I expect like 1.5l per week). Next week I'll try some supporting LED lights to compensate the indoor lighting conditions...just not sure yet about the schedule, I'm thinking like 14hours could do the trick for this auto-beauty.

Entering 4th week of flowering. This week I found some mold on the plant so I tried one rather rumor-based treatment with tea tree oil solution and I have to admit that it helped a bit but definitely not a complete treatment. But as a side effect it actually helped with the indoor smell, so all in all I'm happy and the plant is happy too :) I've already ordered Spray & Grow Mildew to be prepared. Also, I'll have to figure out how to best set up the evening support lights for my plant in total they are 70W input (from socket) which should be more than enough...eventually those will become all-day lights as weather is going to get bad in next 7 days with night temp close to zero Celsius and balcony will no longer be an option.

Week 5 of flowering and I had to get indoor due to low temperature. Just for the record, the bottom pantry part I redesigned for growing is about 55*55*150 cm I set the lights to 18/6 and will need to buy a few fans but it looks like pantries were made for growing as there is ventilation hole (diameter 15 cm) going out of building, so I'm quite happy. Buds are slowly getting frosty. Although not as dense and big as one would hope for, but I'm pretty satisfied considering this is a first grow. A couple of yellowing leafs at the bottom so will monitor them, but it is not spreading and the upper part look healthy, so I think it is natural and not a deficiency of any kind. I wonder how long it will yet take her to finish but I guess about 2-3 weeks more and she should be good to go ^^

I noticed some leaves and stems getting red/purple (see latest photo Week #10) so I'm a bit afraid of Phosphorous deficiency but otherwise the plant look healthy so not sure. Don't want to use redundant fertilizers as I would expect her to finish soon - ideas would be welcomed!

I wont be afraid of phosphorus def.You give her 4 ml of Alga-bloom. Youve had standing her on the balcomy and she changes colours because of the colder nights ( autumn_colours) and maybe its strain related too ( Bluecheese). for me she looks nice and Healthy. Enjoy your Girl

Entering 6th week of flowering and buds are finally getting frosty. She received last fertilized watering and I'll stop feeding her since this week. Maybe she will make it till the end after all, anyway since now I consider her adult...ehmm I mean smokable :) Day 72 - I totally screwed my lady during installation of new fan, that piece of s..t fell down right on the upper main stem and broke the stem. As it was a terrible opened wound and there was no hope of fixing it I decided to cut this part off and prematurely harvest these buds. So sad...it was just getting frosty. Well, there are still some nice buds remaining but why it had to hit the top one...damn, this is just not right. I feel like Homer eating his lobster 😥

Entering Week 7 of flowering and slowly recovering from the disaster. Actually she is still running new blooms like she would like to go on for a few more weeks and is also definitely getting frostier which is cool so let's see how long will she last. Due this I decided to feed her again as I guess it will take it yet 2(+) weeks to finish.

At the end of week 8 of flowering I had to harvest my beauty. Considering how terrible flowersitter I was, she provided quite a reasonable harvest. That said, I kept the buds on stems for drying so not sure about the exact weight but: - I expect ~30g of dry flower and when counting the ~6g I had to harvest earlier from the broken branch I'm happy with that. - it was a very nice smoke with rather clear high and a little time warp effect (left me a few frames behind) 😃 - there is about 9g of wet sugar leafs so I have something for a few brownies as well! I'll update you with final numbers once I have them. EDIT 1 - after drying the weight is 24.7g so a bit less than what I hoped for but still fair enough. Next one will be Kush N Cookies from Garden of Green seed bank. I have also made some upgrades on grow room equipment with new ventilation with resolved reverse airflow issues and of course, yes, lighting. I'm going up to single 100W full spec LED instead of multiple low-watt bulbs which will now take place during germination and early growth stage. Thanks everyone for comments, likes and advice! Cheers!
