hi everyone,
looking to better document my second grow. Doing an exclusive 420 FastBuds Run with Purple Lemonade Auto, Tropicana Cookies Auto and Cheese Auto.
1/7/24 All seeds put in water
1/8/24 Transferred to paper towel method
1/9/24 all seeds showing tap root- transferred to jiffy pot for first few days of seedling stage
1/10/24 5am seedling starting to emerge
1/11/24 seedling has fully emerged from jiffy cup. Planning to transplant to 5g fabric pots tomorrow
I will officially be calling 1/11/24 as “Day 1” for this Original Cheese Auto Grow!
1/13/24 - first set of true leaves are looking healthy! This seedling was growing back into the ground and needed some help finding its way. Worried about possible root damage from the surgical procedure, but she seems to have recovered without skipping a beat. 2nd set of leaves already beginning to emerge.
Lightly watered around the seedling with PH 6.0 RO Water.
Light spray of the leaves with same water.
1/14/24 - things seem to be proceeding well. First set of true leaves have some discoloration at the tips, possible stress from the surgery. Second set of leaves coming in nicely, and color looks fine. I think she is going to be OK. Saturating the area surrounding the seedling once it becomes dry with PH 6.0 RH Water. Occasional foliar spray with same water. Will repeat this process for the next few days as seedling progresses.
1/16/24 - looking really good! Watered and sprayed in the early AM. Second set of leaves are coming in quick!
1/18/24 - start of 2nd week… everything looks good! Will be preparing for first topping within the next 7-10 days and the start of LST!
1/19/24 - watered with 200ml RO water at PH 6.3
1/20/24 - watered with 250ml RO water at PH 6.3 — growth is steady and uniform. Looking great so far! Probably the furthest along of the three seedlings as far as node growth goes. Too early to make any judgements though, my smallest seedling brought my largest and fastest yield on my first indoor run. Time will tell!
1/22/24 - everything is on schedule! Starting to see the baby nodes coming in, almost topping time!
1/23/24 - growth is accelerating! She’s starting to officially transition to veg on Day 13. Topping planned for Day 16.
1/24/24 - well, I’m impatient and decided to top her on day 14. May have been a little early but it cleared up the canopy of leaves covering what will eventually become her two main nodes. Gave her a quick spray and she should recover just fine by the morning.
1/25/24 - week 3! Day 15 for this little girl. Decided to top her last night. Fed 300ml PH6.3 RO water this morning. Will begin mainlining as soon as the baby nodes surpass 1/2” in length
1/26/24 - she seems to be unfazed by the haircut and continues to grow vigorously!
1/27/24 - started LST/mainline … may have damaged one of the main nodes by bending it too far. Still seems to be growing, but may not have enough connected still to mature properly.. planning to leave it attached for now to see how it progresses
1/28/24 - upped the daily feeding to 400ml, she continues to dry daily. It’s looking like the damage to the main node has not slowed her growth at all! I plan to be extra gentle with this half, but for now it looks like she will be able to survive my torture! I will leave the lower leaf as a crutch for a bit longer until she is able to fully scab over the wound. Continued to adjust the LST stakes as she extends outward.
1/29/24 - soil is still moist from yesterday when checked this morning, planning to begin adding 25% dose of veg nutrients to the next feeding. She seems to be healing well, and the growth of that node has continued to hum away. First signs of the next two main nodes are here now, almost time for the second set of mainline stakes!
1/31/24 - happy girl! She seems to have taken the feeding well. Growth is steady and uniform on this one! Was able to get the second set of LST stakes in place. Decided to remove the bottom nodes as her growth seems to be fast! As @basementganja would say, she’s getting the full treatment!
2/1/24 - Week 4! Grow baby grow! Afternoon feeding of 4L RO water with .2g of Veggie and 1/2tsp of recharge split into 1.5L feedings for 3 plants. Some light defoliation to clear up light to all nodes
2/2/24 - Cheese is on cruise control! Added additional LST stakes and lollipopped off unwanted nodes.
2/4/24 - 2L dose of nutrient water PH adjusted to 6.0. Removed some foliage for experimental purposes.
2/5/24 - growth is accelerating as more veg nutrients are added. She’s speeding along!
2/7/24 - 2L feeding, defoliation and LST!
2/8/24 - Week 5 for this baby GIRL! First signs of preflower appeared today. She is the clear front runner of the 3 plants that were started the same day
2/9/24- no action today, she continues to grow fast. Will be increasing nutrient dosage to 100%.
2/10/24 - 2.5L dose of 100% veggie nutrient feeding with calmag and recharge
2/11/24 - adjusted LST stakes and removed lower fan leaves
2/14/24 - no action today, soil is still moist, growth is widespread and even!
2/15/24 - Day 36, week 6! soil still has some moisture in it, going to give it one more day
2/16/24 - 3L dosage of 100% concentrate nutrient mixture. Heavy defoliation to clear up main nodes access to light
2/18/24 - looking STRONG! She’s stretching now for sure. Took the training and feeding very well
2/20/24 - Day 41 and she is really starting to speed up! Approaching flowering, soil still moist and pot still heavy
2/22/24 - Day 43 the preflower pistils have really started to pop! She’s the biggest of the 3, but she’s likely the least mature which is very exciting for her yield prospects!
2/25/24 - Day 46 was a big day! Major defol, last adjustment of the LST stakes and a 1.25 gallon feeding of Veggie nutrients. She’s headed into flowering strong!
2/27/24 - Day 48, soil still moist.
2/29/24 - feeding of 1.33 gallons veggie nutrients.. light defoliation in preparation for flowering.
3/1/24 - this girl is gonna be THICC. She’s showing the least signs of flowering, but the most stretch of the 3! No more lollipopping for her, going to let this one set up for a monster yield!
3/7/24 - Day 56… this cheese is bananas. 1.25 gal 50/50 feeding
3/9/24 - the stretch is REAL!!
3/10/24 - ready for another feeding 1.33 Gal this time switched to full flower nutes. Gave her a nice defoliation to get plenty of light to the lower parts of the canopy.
3/12/24 - the stinky cheese (wo)man is here!!! I don’t know who’s cheesing harder, me or this plant!
3/14/24 - Day 63 for this monster. Gave her a good haircut to open up light to the lower buds. Shes shaping up to be the queen!
3/15/24 - she’s recovered well from the defol. Looks like she’s done stretching and stacking, bulk time!
3/17/24 - 2gal feeding, she’s drinking like a fish!
4/2/24 - Day 82 and she’s really filling out beautifully. Going for an absolutely monster yield here to make up for some other under-performers in the tent. Colors and smells are so unique and beautiful! She’s still bulking up big time.
