Loving week three...
Seeing some good stable growth, the size hasn’t picked up a lot in week three and it seems she’s enjoying her nutes :) been giving super light doses, 0.25ml/l of each.
When I do give nutes I also add 25% water just after wards. I give bio-grow for my micro environment one water and then fish-mix (also adding 25% water) for my macro level the next water. Any thoughts or advice regarding this feeding schedule ? (Please do notify me if my knowledge regarding macro and micro environments is wrong also) :):)
The reason I give such low doses is because when doing research on super skunk (auto) I read that it doesn’t need nutrients, on top of the fact that it’s an auto aaaaand I’m also using a nutrient rich bio-active soil. (Too scared to hurt them) :(
Happy growing :)
Hi @EuphoricDiaries! Considering you're now on LED, 40cm is a good distance for such a young plant. I think you can even push as close as 25-30cm, if you have a good airflow and if the lamp is not emitting too much heat. Do the universal hand-test to ensure your apical summit won't burn. Switching from CFL to LED should help you to control your temps and avoid heat stress, while giving a better spectrum to your baby. Combining spectrum is also an effective method, you can try later when your plant will enter flowering stage, by mixing CFL+LED you will dramatically increase your yield (as long as your environment remains OK, temps, humidity ...). Hope this will help, keep us up-to-date and happy growing :facepunch:
@Stick, Awesome, will definitely try get the humidity up in there by trying some water spray! Thank you
@EuphoricDiaries, 26°C is fine, 35% RH is good for flowering stage but way too low for the veg stage. To promote quick growth, you want a 60-70% humidity level.
@Stick,damn. Hit the nail on the head there! :) thanks for the clarity man! Definitely going to lower the LED and keep an eye on the temperatures there. Would you say that 26 degrees celsius is a good temperature or a bit high ? And also a 35% humidity level ?
Thanks so much dude ! :D
