==================================== WEEK ZERO ==================================== THURSDAY 10/18: My beans will arrive on 10/19, and I'm ready for them! I've come to believe that with so few total days that an autoflower will live, it's an absurd waste of time to sprout them in paper towels and then transfer them to media. From my best guesstimation, I'm wasting 2-3 days time with each seedling while they acclimate to new media..plus I've had some catastrophic penetrations of the paper towel by the tap root that led to failures to emerge from the soil. I'm gonna try a little experiment with rapid rooter cubes and grodan rockwool cubes this time around. I'm planting 2 x Cream Cookies, one in each starter media and germinating in an enclosed tray. Once I start to see roots, I'll open up the vents on the chamber for a day, then plant them in 3 gallon fabric pots. FRIDAY 10/19: 1 pair of Cream Cookies seeds are soaking! SATURDAY 10/20: Both seeds sank. SUNDAY 10/21: Both seeds sprouted and were planted. 👍 I have the 75w blue/white LED panel about 18" above them, and the 730nm far red light kicking on for an hour, every 6 hours. MONDAY: Nuttin yet.. TUESDAY: Both seedlings emerged! WEDNESDAY: Looking good.👍 ============================================= WEEK ONE ============================================= THURSDAY 10/25: Both seedlings had taproots at least 1 inch out of their cubes, so I planted them. FRIDAY: Several of their roommates dried up and died today, but both Cream Cookie's are alive and well! 👍 SATURDAY: One of them is kinda puny compared to the other, but they're growing...😀 SUNDAY: I shall refer to the small one as "Bite-size"..she hasn't grown a millimeter today..but her sister is looking good. MONDAY: Both seedlings are growing..and the little one is catching up with her big sister.👍 TUESDAY: Watered with ph'd spring water. They were given monikers: Cruella and Carlotta WEDNESDAY: I fed each of them about 32oz of ph'd water with early veg nutes..their first taste.

THURSDAY 11/1: Cruella is a beast..grew a lot since yesterday! Her little sister, Carlotta, is diminutive by comparison, but I put her in pole position under the brightest part of the garden today. I've decided to try a 20/4 light cycle for this crop to see if it helps with keeping my foliage intact a little longer through the season...plus, I want my average tent temps about 4-5 degrees cooler this time to see how much it helps with terpene production/preservation. I will continue supplementing with 4 Exhale bags in an effort to keep PPM's above 1300, even when the exhaust is running..that and the addition of silica in their diet should help mitigate the higher temps they'll experience from time to time...it's a very mild winter thus far, so it's hard to maintain consistent temps. I'll veg them at 24/0 until I'm seeing pistils poppin on the majority of them, then change to 20/4. FRIDAY: Cruella is the biggest seedling in the garden....great vigor. Carlotta is the smallest seedling from the first batch, but she is growing and looks cute, albeit petite. SATURDAY: The Cookie twins are both growing. I fed them both about 32oz of ph'd water with veg nutes and foliar fed them both. SUNDAY: I fed Cruella about 32oz of ph'd water with early veg nutes and foliar fed them both. Just ph'd water for Carlotta. MONDAY: Just gave Cruella about 16oz of ph'd water today, foliar fed and rotated her. I just wet Carlotta's soil with ph'd water and foliar fed her. TUESDAY: I fed Cruella 32oz of ph'd water with full strength veg nutes and moved some lights much closer to the canopy today. I just gave Carlotta plain ph'd water and foliar fed her. WEDNESDAY: D-day (Daylight) I put them into overdrive and kicked on the 1500w light at about 30" and left the blues on them at 8" to 12" and all the cool white side lights...grow babies grow.

THURSDAY 11/8: I watered them and foliar fed them a few times throughout the day. I added a 100w CXB3590 today at about 30" from the canopy. If temps stay manageable, I'll add another one tomorrow. FRIDAY: Both Cruella and Carlotta are happy and healthy, but Cruella is quite a bit more vigorously growing. I lowered the lights about 4 inches, added a 100w bridgelux 3500k COB, and tilted the blue/white panels at a 45 degree angle. The blue Miracle LED's are still within a foot of them, too. SATURDAY: I fed them both about 40oz of ph'd tap water with full-strength veg nutes. SUNDAY: I lowered the lights a few inches and foliar fed both girls a few times today. Cruella is a specimen. Perfect lower branching and excellent vigor. Carlotta looks great too. She's just a little slower. I FIM'd both of them today. MONDAY: Cruella is in the lead again...she's determined to be my favorite.😍 No shock at all from the FIMing. TUESDAY: I watered them today with about 32oz of ph'd water and a little boomerang and bud candy. I also foliar fed them a few times. Cruella's lower branches are growing really well, so I did some leaf tucking on her. It's neck and neck between her and Beatrice Blackberry at this point.. I added another 40w 5000k daylight bulb in a dim area and reconfigured my ventilation. I'm exhausting the tent much quicker now, so the temps are considerably lower, but at the cost of lower co2 ppms..😕 WEDNESDAY: I foliar fed them a few times and rearranged today..and did some leaf tucking. Both girls are branching nicely, but Cruella is definitely the dominant sister.👈

THURSDAY: I fed them both about 40oz of ph'd full-strength veg nutes today and foliar fed a few times. The Cookie sisters are happy and healthy. Carlotta grew a couple inches overnight, but Cruella spent most of her energy growing lower branches yesterday.."Wow, nice bush lady."😁 FRIDAY: Cruella was a contender for "Best Vigor", but got left in the dust. She's still bushing out very nicely though. Carlotta grows over an inch a day now.👍 SATURDAY: I foliar fed several times and watered them both with about 40oz of ph'd water, calimagic, bud candy, and terpinator. Took some photos...they are tho vewy thekthi..😍 SUNDAY: I foliar fed a few times and swapped gasses with them while manicuring the buds from my White Widow harvest. Cruella went off last night...it's pistil city today!😁 MONDAY: I fed them about 1/3 gallon of ph'd water with full strength veg nutes...prolly the last time for Cruella and maybe for Carlotta, too. TUESDAY: Cruella didn't like her big drink of water..she's the only plant in the garden that appears to be overwatered...I'll see if maybe I can poke and prod her soil and improve the drainage a little. I added another 220w of light to the tent today..a 120w quantum board and a cxb3590, plus I changed out all the blues for reds(panels and miracleLED's, and floods) WEDNESDAY: A lot of growth this week, but I'm seeing a little light burn, so I raised the lights a few inches. Improved ventilation a bit..temps are very steady now. I'll change the lights to 20/4 in a few more days. I took some photos and foliar fed a few times..rearranged the garden a bit.

THURSDAY - 11/22 (Thanksgiving Day) I was out of town all day, so didn't spend any time with the girls...but I monitored them throughout the day with the nanny-cam...technology that I am thankful for. 😁 FRIDAY: Cruella is the only plant in the garden to really suffer from the high temps last week..she was so sexy...sorry babe. She'll be alright, but her foliage got uglied up more than I had hoped. I watered them today with ph'd water, some boomerang, calimagic, bud candy, and terpinator. I foliar fed a couple times and rearranged the garden. I swapped out my 1500w blurple light for the 2000w blurple light....so now I'm pushing 1000 actual LED draw watts in the 4 x 4...kinda ridiculous, but in a good way.😎Tomorrow I'll swap out the 60w 3500k COB with a 100w Citizen Clu048 to fully overpower the remaining visible purple light with white light. Temps are about 90f by the end of the day and drop to 74f for the 4 hours of darkness they are now getting. SATURDAY: Cruella's new growth looks waaay better than the stuff I burned up..hoping she's on the mend.😷 Carlotta is a wispy little thing..hope she starts bulking up pretty soon... I foliar fed a few times and added the extra 40w of white COB light. Moved the fan and put my 4th Exhale bag in the tent..it's almost used up, so time to order another. Took some photos. SUNDAY: I slowly fed each of them about 48oz of ph'd water with the full regimen of bloom nutes and foliar fed a few times. The 4th bag of Exhale really bumped the CO2 PPM's up nicely..if I keep my exhaust fan on about 50% and it's a cold day, it works out great and the high reaches about 84....but sadly, if it's not a cold day, I'm pushing 90f for about 8 hours..but very rich in CO2..... Bottom line is that I think I'm running too many lighting watts in this tent if I can't maintain a more consistent air intake temperature. I'll probably go back with the 1500w blurple because it runs a few degrees cooler than the 2000w, so that will put me back to about 925w actual draw watts...at least until we have another cold spell. MONDAY: Both of the Cookie sisters grew 2 inches overnight! Cruella is budding up nicely, but Carlotta is just showing me a few pistils so far. I've decided that they need more than the normal dose Ca and Mg..I'll endeavor to please them😁 TUESDAY: I foliar fed a few times and spun them around. Carlotta's main stalk and her branches are finally starting to beef-up a bit. Cruella's new growth looks great. She's now the tallest plant in the garden again and she is flowering nicely. WEDNESDAY: It was a good week for them both. Both plants grew a few inches they are healthy. I watered them today, each with about 1/3 gallon of ph'd water, bud candy, terpinator, and extra calimagic. I foilar fed a few times and rotated them.

THURSDAY 11/29: Impressive plants..both of them. Cruella is waaay more sensitive to heat and needs soil with VERY good drainage. She wilts for a few hours every time I water her, no matter how little I give her. I continue to poke and prod it with my moisture probes regularly to keep it from compacting too much for her. Carlotta hasn't given me any problems at all. She's just a little slower, but almost Cruella's equal in size now. I foliar fed a few times and did a photo session. FRIDAY: Foliar fed a few times and tweaked a few things.. They are both spending most of their energy making flowers now...only grew a half inch last night. SATURDAY: Both Cruella and Carlotta continue to stretch. I fed therm with about 1/3 gallon of full-strength bloom nutes today and foliar fed them a few times and re-positioned them. SUNDAY: Cruella's buds are swelling up a bit now. I plucked off most of her burnt-up leaves and she's looking quite sexy now.😋 Carlotta's main stalk and branches have really thickened up. She's gonna be able to support some super-sized colas like her older sister now.👍 I tweaked my ventilation on Saturday and the temps were staying at or below 84, so... I quickly added my other 60w 3500k COB light to the tent..it's and positioned it on the Cookie-twin's backside.. 😎 MONDAY: I foliar fed them today and will again for a few more days, but will probably start rinsing them off with ph'd spring water after that. Their buds are starting to thicken now. TUESDAY: Cruella and Carlotta both appear to have root problems. They look overwatered even when i just feed them a little and even when they are almost dry. I probed their soil very well and they were actually almost dry. I just fed them a tiny dose (12 oz each) of ph'd water with boomerang, kangaroots, calimagic, and some bat guano powder. If I don't see improvement in the next couple of days, I'll assume they are rootbound and transplant them into 5 gallon fabric pots.

THURSDAY 12/6: They slowed down with their stretch..possibly because I underwatered them..whoops! They perked right up on Wednesday when I fed them about 1/3 gallon with all the good stuff. Cruella's got a few less, but considerably bigger buds at this point. She's also the sturdier of the two. FRIDAY: Both Cruella and Carlotta look great! I watered them each with about 1/2 gallon of ph'd water with calimagic, terpinator, bud candy and armor si. Had about 20% runoff. SATURDAY: I rotated them and counted their buds...nice. SUNDAY: They are really drinking a lot now. I gave them both about 3/4 gallon of bloom nutes and added Bembe this time. MONDAY: Evidently I should have calibrated my PH pen...damnit! I really PHukt them up. That's 2 fucking crops in a row... It looks like I'm having a terrible boron deficiency and that they were badly overwatered, but I know better...@#!$%^ Cruella doesn't look as bad as Carlotta..she's all burnt up.. TUESDAY: I flushed them today with about 2 gallons each of 6.2 PH'd water including Sledgehammer, Calimagic, and Boomerang. Fingers crossed that they snap out of it quickly. On a good note, I moved them into big tent with all the other bloomers. They were surprised to find that they had almost 25% more available PPFD across the whole garden (my new light was finally delivered!)

THURSDAY 12/13: Carlotta continues getting crispy..I really PHukt her up. Cruella wasn't as badly affected, but will definitely lose a lot of foliage before it's all said and done. @!#$%^😫 FRIDAY: Carlotta still looks pretty ragged and Cruella has some lower leaves yellowing now. I think I'll feed them tomorrow. SATURDAY: Didn't feed..soil still too moist from the flushing. SUNDAY: I fed them full strength bloom nutes plus a little extra boomerang. MONDAY: The girls are still recovering from PH fluctuations that made it seem as if they had a half-dozen different maladies at once..boron deficiency, overwatering, N toxicity, and light burn. Now I'm starting to believe I'm dealing with actual light burn! I think the new lights are just too intense for the distance I have them at...at least at this stage of flowering. I've dimmed them to 90% for now... Cruella is getting a little crispy and losing more lower leaves than I'd like at this point. Carlotta is still working with her crispy leaves..bugs fattening a little every day. TUESDAY: I fed them full strength bloom nutes, plus extra boomerang. In addition to the light burn issue, the new lights lower the RH in the tent waaay too much, so I've temporarily got a 4-liter cool-mist humidifier filled with ice cubes running for about 10 hours at a time before it goes dry. That's raised the average RH from 21% to 28% and lowered the average temps by a couple of degrees as well...still not good enough. So, I ordered a small evaporative cooler to put in the tent, up on the shelf. It holds a little over 2 gallons of ice water and oscillates. The new light is IP65, so a few drops raining down here and there should make no difference, but the added cooler airflow should really help to bring up the RH and lower my average temps. WEDNESDAY: The two new 85w individual OSRAM bar lights came in today and I hung them in the 1-foot wide area just below the shelf. Now I've got awesome coverage all the way across the 5 x 4. They put off some heat and I don't have any plants under them right now, so they are turned off. Love the spectrum they produce..the white is 3200k..but they just have two red diodes every 12 inches of bar, whereas my 10-bar fixture has 3500k, but 6 x reds per 12 inches of bar. The OSRAM diodes are every bit as bright if not brighter than the Samsung LM561C diodes, but all those deep red Cree XPE's on the fixture give it a much better spike in the 660nm range. It will be awesome being able to independently lower the lights in a 1' x 4' section of the garden. When you have dwarves to deal with, it's so much better than putting them on buckets.. That's a total of 1010w actual draw watts at full power in my 4 x 5 tent...sweet...just gotta get the RH and temp under control. It would take a seriously full tent for me to even consider turning on the extra 100w of side lights...but they're there if I need them 👍

THURSDAY 12/20: Both plants are still packing on the pistils. It's a race between the buds finishing and the leaves all falling off.. FRIDAY: The new evaporative cooler is working pretty well in the tent. High temp was 84f with it running on medium and with ice in the reservoir. That's a win. I suspect that when I need to run the other two 85w bar lights it will be pushing 90f again unless I run it on high. RH is is staying between 38% and 45%, which is another win! SATURDAY: I fed them about a gallon of full-strength bloom nutes today. Continuing Beastie Blooms, but will switch to Cha Ching later this week. SUNDAY: Photo session...Cruella is a little more densely budded, but Carlotta has a more pungent aroma at this point. MONDAY: too lazy to update TUESDAY: too lazy to update WEDNESDAY: too lazy to update

THURSDAY 12/27: I watered them both with about 3/4 gallons of ph'd water including bembe, terpinator, calimagic, bud candy, and a little cha ching. FRIDAY: Carlotta looks overwatered...oops..maybe rootbound..she's getting pretty big.. Cruella's buds are getting fat, but she continues losing leaves at the same alarming rate.. SATURDAY: I guess that Cream Cookies trichromes don't necessarily ever turn amber... I'm starting to think that they are about done...leaves are falling off like crazy now, but Cruella and Carlotta's trichs are still about 50/50 clear/cloudy SUNDAY: I fed them both about a 1/3 gallon today with all the good stuff. MONDAY: I'm convinced that they are ready to start flushing at next water. Carlotta's buds are too heavy for her now..I've got her branches supported with ropes for now, but will employ bamboo stakes in a couple days when they arrive. TUESDAY: Cruella's now having problems holding up her buds too... WEDNESDAY: Was gonna start flush today, but they were still moist...

THURSDAY 1/3: I used bamboo stakes to support Carlotta better today. I think tomorrow will be both Cream Cookie's last feeding before I start flushing them. FRIDAY: I fed both plants about a half-gallon each with all the good stuff. I hope they continue swelling up..their buds are heavy but not as big as I'd like.😕 SATURDAY: They're both definitely getting flushed at next water.. SUNDAY: Still moist..tomorrow I sledgehammer them with a little bembe. MONDAY: I flushed them both with a few gallons of bembe and sledgehammer...won't be long now.. TUESDAY: I plucked off some dead stuff..

THURSDAY 1/10: Will flush tomorrow...they are starting to really stink up the tent now!😍 FRIDAY: Flushed both of them with a couple gallons of plain ph'd spring water.... They are slated for execution on Monday...maybe Tuesday. SATURDAY: Because I won't have the time to harvest and trim up all four remaining bloomers at the same time, I went ahead and harvested Carlotta today. She's pretty heavy..I'm guessing her dry weight will be around 85g or thereabouts. I'll probably harvest Cruella on Monday.

Happy Harvest Day!

I've tested it a couple times now after over 2 weeks of curing. Both plants are very potent, but neither of them has much aroma or flavor..😕 Fresh-cut hay...not what I was hoping for... It's smooth to smoke, but tastes a little bit green, so I'll leave it alone and let it cure for another few weeks and see if it improves any. If not, it will be used to make e-liquid. The buzz is mellow, but lasts several hours. Okay for any time of day or night-

After a month of curing, it's finally starting to have a faint sweet aroma, kinda like shortbread cookies. It gets you plenty high, but just not much flavor to speak of. I've been mixing it with Gorilla Glue.. I've got a couple more of these beans planted..hopefully the next ones are more pungent and flavorful!

I wish! They still haven't even shipped it to me yet! 4-5 day shipping..if they ever take it to the carrier... In anticipation of having the new light for my spring grow, I ordered another batch of seeds from Seedsman tonight: 5 x Six Shooter 3 x Stardawg 3 x Tangie'matic 3 x California Snow (freebies) 1 x White Widow Auto XXL ..buncha big bitches😜

@CRiSPrGrow, I'm really digging them too. Such even coverage! It's actually pulling 840w at the wall instead of the rated 800w..pretty cool. I'd say the overall spectral output is as advertised..3200k with a really nice peak in the 660nm range. Once the two additional 4ft bars arrive, I'll have the 4 x 5 completely covered...now I just gotta keep my plants alive long enough to enjoy them!!!😖

@CRiSPrGrow, Zactly. Though, with photoperiod strains, I'll prolly still do the paper towel trick because I prefer a bigger taproot when I plant them..and because they'll have plenty of time to get big regardless if I "faff about" (as MissFlowerPower says) with the paper towel.😁
