THURSDAY 11/8:
I watered them and foliar fed them a few times throughout the day.
I added a 100w CXB3590 today at about 30" from the canopy. If temps stay manageable, I'll add another one tomorrow.
FRIDAY:
Both Cruella and Carlotta are happy and healthy, but Cruella is quite a bit more vigorously growing.
I lowered the lights about 4 inches, added a 100w bridgelux 3500k COB, and tilted the blue/white panels at a 45 degree angle. The blue Miracle LED's are still within a foot of them, too.
SATURDAY:
I fed them both about 40oz of ph'd tap water with full-strength veg nutes.
SUNDAY:
I lowered the lights a few inches and foliar fed both girls a few times today.
Cruella is a specimen. Perfect lower branching and excellent vigor. Carlotta looks great too. She's just a little slower.
I FIM'd both of them today.
MONDAY:
Cruella is in the lead again...she's determined to be my favorite.π
No shock at all from the FIMing.
TUESDAY:
I watered them today with about 32oz of ph'd water and a little boomerang and bud candy. I also foliar fed them a few times. Cruella's lower branches are growing really well, so I did some leaf tucking on her. It's neck and neck between her and Beatrice Blackberry at this point..
I added another 40w 5000k daylight bulb in a dim area and reconfigured my ventilation. I'm exhausting the tent much quicker now, so the temps are considerably lower, but at the cost of lower co2 ppms..π
WEDNESDAY:
I foliar fed them a few times and rearranged today..and did some leaf tucking.
Both girls are branching nicely, but Cruella is definitely the dominant sister.π
I wish!
They still haven't even shipped it to me yet!
4-5 day shipping..if they ever take it to the carrier...
In anticipation of having the new light for my spring grow, I ordered another batch of seeds from Seedsman tonight:
5 x Six Shooter
3 x Stardawg
3 x Tangie'matic
3 x California Snow (freebies)
1 x White Widow Auto XXL
..buncha big bitchesπ
@CRiSPrGrow,
I'm really digging them too. Such even coverage!
It's actually pulling 840w at the wall instead of the rated 800w..pretty cool. I'd say the overall spectral output is as advertised..3200k with a really nice peak in the 660nm range. Once the two additional 4ft bars arrive, I'll have the 4 x 5 completely covered...now I just gotta keep my plants alive long enough to enjoy them!!!π
@CRiSPrGrow, Zactly.
Though, with photoperiod strains, I'll prolly still do the paper towel trick because I prefer a bigger taproot when I plant them..and because they'll have plenty of time to get big regardless if I "faff about" (as MissFlowerPower says) with the paper towel.π
