THURSDAY 11/1:
Cruella is a beast..grew a lot since yesterday!
Her little sister, Carlotta, is diminutive by comparison, but I put her in pole position under the brightest part of the garden today.
I've decided to try a 20/4 light cycle for this crop to see if it helps with keeping my foliage intact a little longer through the season...plus, I want my average tent temps about 4-5 degrees cooler this time to see how much it helps with terpene production/preservation. I will continue supplementing with 4 Exhale bags in an effort to keep PPM's above 1300, even when the exhaust is running..that and the addition of silica in their diet should help mitigate the higher temps they'll experience from time to time...it's a very mild winter thus far, so it's hard to maintain consistent temps. I'll veg them at 24/0 until I'm seeing pistils poppin on the majority of them, then change to 20/4.
FRIDAY:
Cruella is the biggest seedling in the garden....great vigor.
Carlotta is the smallest seedling from the first batch, but she is growing and looks cute, albeit petite.
SATURDAY:
The Cookie twins are both growing.
I fed them both about 32oz of ph'd water with veg nutes and foliar fed them both.
SUNDAY:
I fed Cruella about 32oz of ph'd water with early veg nutes and foliar fed them both. Just ph'd water for Carlotta.
MONDAY:
Just gave Cruella about 16oz of ph'd water today, foliar fed and rotated her. I just wet Carlotta's soil with ph'd water and foliar fed her.
TUESDAY:
I fed Cruella 32oz of ph'd water with full strength veg nutes and moved some lights much closer to the canopy today. I just gave Carlotta plain ph'd water and foliar fed her.
WEDNESDAY:
D-day (Daylight)
I put them into overdrive and kicked on the 1500w light at about 30" and left the blues on them at 8" to 12" and all the cool white side lights...grow babies grow.
I wish!
They still haven't even shipped it to me yet!
4-5 day shipping..if they ever take it to the carrier...
In anticipation of having the new light for my spring grow, I ordered another batch of seeds from Seedsman tonight:
5 x Six Shooter
3 x Stardawg
3 x Tangie'matic
3 x California Snow (freebies)
1 x White Widow Auto XXL
..buncha big bitchesπ
@CRiSPrGrow,
I'm really digging them too. Such even coverage!
It's actually pulling 840w at the wall instead of the rated 800w..pretty cool. I'd say the overall spectral output is as advertised..3200k with a really nice peak in the 660nm range. Once the two additional 4ft bars arrive, I'll have the 4 x 5 completely covered...now I just gotta keep my plants alive long enough to enjoy them!!!π
@CRiSPrGrow, Zactly.
Though, with photoperiod strains, I'll prolly still do the paper towel trick because I prefer a bigger taproot when I plant them..and because they'll have plenty of time to get big regardless if I "faff about" (as MissFlowerPower says) with the paper towel.π
