03/03/24- popped 3 into soil Kept soil moist and warm 03/08/24- 2 are sprouting. No sight of the 3rd. Hope it’s not a dud :( Excited to see these grow 💚 03/11/24. #1 coming along just fine. #2 .. idek wtf this thing is doing. It hasn’t grown .. hasn’t done anything except it’s cotyledon(sp?) fell off and the true leaves? Yeah no freakin idea what’s going on with them. #3 has never shown itself. Rip I guess. Disappointed with this so far. :/

03/15/24 Not too much going on as of yet. I didn’t give up on the poor little #2. I have stupid motherly instincts and need to take care of sick and injured LOL. You can see it’s far behind #1 BUT it’s finally got some leaves going and seems to have grown a bit in height. I will continue to care for it and love it. As of now no nutrients-just light water and love. Cross your fingers for her I’m gonna name her tree 🤞🌱💚

03/23/24. Going into week 2. #1 is much ahead of tree still. It also appears to have small burns on its leaf tips which I don’t understand. It hasn’t been fed and it’s still under a small grow bulb which shouldn’t burn anything. Have other babies under it and in same soil, same everything and they’re fine. Maybe it’s just sensitive. Tree appears to be growing strange. Aside from being very small, she also isn’t getting two leaves on top. It’s just one. Not sure what to think of this? Will she grow normally in the future?

3/31/24. Going into week 3. There’s good news for tree. Her bottom leaves are a bit burnt, still not sure why, but she’s finally seeming to be growing more normally. Her overall size/structure is still smaller than #1 and she’s only about 3 inches tall vs almost 6 inches BUT I think she’s going to be just fine. Both were transplanted a few days back and both are under the viparspectra now. I keep messing with the dim of the light as it’s way to close to them (can’t be moved sadly). I have it at about 25%,15 inches away now. They got a feeding of roots organic terp tea grow at transplant. 4/1/24. Topped #1 at 5th node.

04/08/24. Going into week 4. Not much to mention this week. Haven’t fed again since giving them tea. They both are very sensitive to like.. everything lol. I did increase light dim to about 50% as when I had it more dim all plants under it started getting huge space between nodes. Tree is still growing weird but she’s growing none the less. I’ve been holding off on tipping her but I think I will soon. That’s about it for now

04/15/24. Going into week 5 I topped tree a couple days ago and then yesterday I bent her top and put an lst clip. Tree is so strange. Huuuuuge node spacing.. tall and lanky. Dark green leaves still with the same weird spots as the beginning. #1 is also strange. I love the way she grows. She is short and bushy with decent spacing. I didn’t add an lst clip or do anything with her as of yet because she just doesn’t need it. She’s confusing though. Her leaves seem pale to me as if she needs to be fed but also shows signs of nutrient burn on edges/tips of some fan leaves. These seem like 2 completely different phenos. I wouldn’t even think they were the same strain honestly. Nothing about them is similar whatsoever. I haven’t fed them still since the tea they had once. They’ve been getting dechlorinated water whenever their pots feel light. Seeing these next to black orchids I have growing next to them.. which are also a bit younger .. these just don’t compare to them at all so far. Very finicky, don’t seem as eager to grow etc. I’m hoping they pick up at some point.

04/22/24. Here we are going into week 6 I transplanted both girls yesterday. They looked a little less perky most of the day, but with rest overnight they look to be coming around. I gave number 1 the name Betsy because she was jealous that Tree had a name, or so I told myself. Why Betsy? I really don’t know. Betsy went into an 18 gallon tote that has 10 gallons of soil in it. Tree went into a 5 gallon. Tree just is almost not worth being in the tent at this point, but I just can’t completely give up on her. She’s alive and trying no matter how terrible her structure and just overall weirdness is. The light is now 320w and about 30 inches up at 50%. Will adjust as necessary. I’m thinking of flipping these to flower probably next update. Haven’t fed anything again as Tree has looked to have borderline nitrogen toxicity from being fed once in 6 weeks lol. Betsy also has 2 leaves with burn, though she appears kind of light in color. Confusing pair. Just water still for these babies. Wellp I guess that about catches us up for now.

04/29/24. Here we are going into week 7 Betsy is beautiful, and Tree is, well… Tree. Been messing with tree more trying to get some spread. She wants to just grow everything all together and straight up. Got some big improvements, but still not satisfied. Will keep at it. Betsy is growing pretty evenly other than 2 spots that seem to want to stay shorter. Still no more feeds so far. Tree still looks so dark. Probably going to feed Betsy next watering though, getting some lightening on a couple leaves. Yeah, so not much to update this week. Just playing with branches. Until next time .. 05/01/24. Guess I played with branches too much. Broke Tree :( I tried to mend her. I hope she heals okay. I’m not messing with her anymore. Feels bad.

05/07/24. Going into week 8. Time to flip today. These would never be ready to flip if I don’t just do it. There’s always something that could be done more or better. It’s just time to go. I cleaned up the bottom branches a bit and got rid of any leaves that were hanging down low/touching soil. I also had already very selectively removed some leaves that wouldn’t stay tucked, or were very thick in certain areas. It’s getting to a more humid time and I don’t want problems. Still haven’t fed them again. Just water when dry and some silica. I’m guessing now that I’m flipping they will want some food soon. I raised both plants up on pieces of wood to get them the same height as my orchids that are with them. Added the trellis and pushed some taller branches under. All are now 28 inches from the light at about 70%. Will be lowering the light slowly to get dli right without burning them by going all at once. Hoping this works the way I assume it will. I guess that about does it for now. Let’s get stretchin 😄 Oh and Tree is doing much better. I think her broken part must be healing since it still looks alive. She’s even grown and looks a tad less weird..well compared to herself.

05/14/24. Going into week 2 flower. Not noticing much of a stretch so far but that may be because I was always tucking branches and what not. Not going to continue now that I see the start of buds trying to exist. I dunno if that would mess anything up. Assumed I’d be feeding by now, but everything seems to be looking good and these were very sensitive to the one feed I gave them ages ago. They burned from a very light tea feeding so I’m gonna skip anything until I spot anything saying they need it. These seem to be slower to develop than the other ladies I have growing with them. Lights are at about 75% 25 inches up. Humidity about 55%. Temperature 75-83. Smelling a coffee-ish smell from the tent. Was going to add a video but it’s keep freezing the site when I try. Guess that’s it for now. Thanks for lookin

05/21/24. Going into week 3 flower Things are going pretty good with these girls health and happiness wise. As for Betsy I’m honestly not thrilled with her be the trellis. I don’t think it’s really worked well for her and most of her growth hasn’t even made it to the trellis. Tree has really amazed me. The turn around she’s had is crazy. From a terribly structured, goofy, no branch having weirdo, to a decent looking little plant. I’m glad I didn’t toss her when she was little and I take back saying she wasn’t worth putting into the tent. She’s small, but strong, and the branch I broke has done fine in healing and is growing a bud so yay. :) Haven’t fed as I’ve still seen no reason to.. and somehow still see what seems like a bit too much N, which with no feeding..I’m still not understanding. Just been giving water with silica and calmag as of now. Still have these girls containers up on wood to keep them near the same as the rest of the canopy as possible. Lights at about 75% and 22 inches up. Temperature 73-82. Humidity about 50% I’m not sure what I’ll do as for under trellis cleanup here. B has most of her self under the trellis, so if I removed everything under I think she’d have like 3-4 branches LOL. Tree seems pretty chillen. I don’t think much even needs to be done. Guess I’ll figure something out. That’s about it for now. Thanks for lookin

05/28/24. Going into week 4 flower So not too much to report on this week. The girls are happy and doing their thing. Starting to see a tiny bit of frost on both of them. B has bigger lil buds so far, but not that many to mention. T has more tops but buds seem rather small so far. I have finally given a very light feeding as a couple very bottom leaves were yellowing on B. Probably could’ve skipped it for T, but the other plants all seemed to want it, so T probably wouldn’t be far behind. The light is at 75% and about 20inches away at the moment. They seem happy with this at the moment. Well I think that covers it for now. Thanks for lookin

Going into week 6 flower Only real updates for this week are: Changed nute ratio as seen above Way more water being demanded this week. Getting a droop within less than 48 hours in comparison to about every 4 days. B has a few leaves yellowing at bottom and very middle. Tree has some yellowish orange specks on a few leaves. Guessing lacking some calcium. Finally get getting a bit of size - width wise. These are definitely gonna be short and fat buds. They are shaping life pyramids. They are freaking dense as hell though. Sticky and loud. Let’s gooo

06/18/24. Going into week 7 flower Nothing much to report this week. Haven’t changed anything. Just water, water, then feed with ratios listed above. Seeing some yellowing in leaves, and some die off around bottom. Buds are fattening and more pistils turning orange. Probably a couple weeks still before ready. I’ll be checking trichs here and there starting today.

06/25/24. Going into week 8 flower Well, I believe we’re about at the end of the road for these strange girls. Checked the trichomes and lots of milky. Had a CATastrophe on Sunday. Somehow my little angel cat .. got into the room..and then into the tent and trampled all over the trellis netting and the plants. No idea how she got into the room, much less the tent. It was zipped up with just the top area open for some air. Ugh. Luckily she didn’t break any stems or whatever, but they are laying all over and some hair is stuck to the plants She was covered in sticky with her fur all matted and terrible. Had to clean her and still some was there. Today she’s back to having normal feeling fur. Meanwhile..I’ve been trying to get some standing back up as much as I can again. It’s a mess. Getting the hairs off has been fun too 🙄 Gave only water yesterday and will continue that whenever the soils dry until the girls are done. Not sure exactly what I’m going for .. probably just mostly milky and a tad amber. We’ll see Oh and dimming the light to like 60%

For me these were very small plants that seem like they will yield small as well. Quality seems great though. Even though the buds are short, they are very chunky and dense. Also covered in sparkles and very sticky. Smell is pungent with a sweetness.. kinda like soap. Update: my apologies to anyone I recommended premium cultivars to. When I did, they were a good company. Idk what’s happened to them recently but they’re shady af now. Buyer beware!

7/1 Chopped these babies down. Now they’ll be hung in the dark (full plant) at about 60/60 until they’re ready to go in jar. Hopefully about ten days, but these are small so idk if they’ll go that long. Will update when we get there Tried to update smoke report but it just keeps erroring out. I’ll try it again another time. :/ Meanwhile, I’ll leave some info here. This hasn’t even cured yet and wow. Wasn’t thrilled with what I could see the yield would be.. still not thrilled, but damn. The shits good. Perfect density, smell, and taste. It’s loud af and definitely potent. It’s pungent with a hint of sweet but not too much. Would absolutely grow again, but would grow more plants since the yields not there .. at least for me. 5.2 ounces - 2 plants. Buds no trim ;(

It seems like leaving the leaves really has been doing the trick so far. The first time I dried ever, I did wet trim and it dried too fast and almost wound up with hayish smell. Since doing this way, the dry seems good. I guess I could also try towel

@Krisis, on my big outdoor grows I keep a few big jars of untrimmed weed. It seems to keep the terp profile better for the long haul. If you’re dealing with low humidity when curing, the leaves will help preserve moisture- so you’re definitely on the right track here. I guess you don’t need a dehumidifier after all lol.
