Gorilla Kush Fast Version | Ganja Farmer Seeds | AutoPot | Timelapse

This time i went for the Gorilla Kush Fast Flowering from Ganja Farmer Seeds.
I got quite some seeds from them for winning the 10th place from The Diary of the Month March 2023.
This grow i will be trying out the autopots aswell, so lets see how it goes.

70% Indica, 30% Sativa.

At the end of the day i placed 2 Gorilla Kush Fast Version seeds in a wet coffee filter (PH: 5.8) inside a zip-lock bag.
I hang the bag in a dark and warm place so the seeds can germinate.

42 hours later and the roots are nice and long enough so i put them inside a 0.5L pot with Plagron Lightmix.

24 hours later and they are already rising above the ground.
After 7 hours i removed the plastic foil because they are growing quite fast haha.

As for my waterings, i give RO water, with 0.50 grams of Calcium, and 0.2 ml of Atami Rootbastic a liter.

Today i will transplant the plants, i will mix 70% Coco coir with 30% Perlite.
The plants go into 18L AutoPots. I use the Airdome combined with an airstone.
I covered half of the airdome with coco, and the remaining half with clay pebbles.
The rest of the 18L pot filled with the coco mix, and the plants.
I gave both plants a 1.5L topfeed, and into the tent they go!
The light is at 70% strength, with a distance of 60 cm.

I fully installed the AutoPots and their base aswell, wich get connected to a water reservoir.

At the beginning of the day i made a 15L feed and gave both plants a 1.5L topfeed, and i removed some leaves underneath the canopy.
Later that day I installed the AutoPot reservoir and attached all hoses to the pots and reservoir.
The airpump is connected aswell, and on a 18/6 timer.
I added the remaining 9L to the reservoir and turned on the system.
At the end of the day i added another 15L to the reservoir.
The light is at 80% with an distance of 45/50 cm. LUX: 24.000 / 26.000

In the midday i turned off the reservoir, and at the end of the day the AutoPots were dry.
I installed a SCROG net aswell that i bought a couple of days ago.
The holes of the net are too big, so i will order another one with smaller holes, but for now i will use the bigger one.
I disconnected the 18/6 timer of the airpump, so now it runs 24/7 on full power.
I checked the PH of the reservoir and it went up to 6.3, so thats quite high, i added some PH- to 6.0

It looks like the plants are doing better since they havent got any water the past couple of days.
Today i decided to heavily defoliate the plants.
I also found a old feeding schedule from Green House with PH values, and it recommends that i should give an PH of 5.7 on coco.
I thought PH 6 was good, but i was wrong, maybe this in combination with the plants being too wet, is the reason for the weird growing leaves, and the problems they show.
I cleaned the reservoir and made sure there is no old water in the lines.
I made a full strength 10L feed, and added it to the reservoir.
I turned the reservoir on for around 3 mins, just to the point that the AutoPot trays are full of water and the valves are shutting them off, then i turn the reservoir off.
I will do this every other day, so 1 time in 2 days.

Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing.
Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes)
Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even.
I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Removed the net, and tied down some branches to the pot with some gardening wire.
This way i can easily remove the pots out of the tent to weigh them.
I also moved the oscilating fan from underneath the canopy to above the canopy.
This is because the leaves gets hotter as i increase the light's power output.
The Gorilla Kush #2 and the Chemdog #2 are showing some heat stress.
Installed a valve on the autopot from the Kush #2.
This is because its weight is higher then the other pots.
Before i watered them i weigh the pots.

The bud development of the #2 is very mediocre, some buds show some THC, and some buds have almost none on them.
I am sure the yield will be low, so i will probably make some hash with the #2

The plants are slowly dying so i decided to chop them tomorrow and throw the buds in the freezer to make some bubble hash in the future.

This is the first time i am using autopots (with coco) and i still have to learn alot and get used to it.
Also i need to look back at the diary to see what went wrong, as i had 2 Chemdog's in the same tent, same nutrients etc and they got back healty but these Gorilla Kushes didnt.
