Day 25 - Started feeding. 1/2 gallon w/Micro and Bloom, 1.5ml of each. Slightly less than half the suggested. I'm scared to over-feed so we'll see how she does and adjust amounts accordingly next feeding.

4/27/24 - Day 37 - Not much of a defoliator so tied some branches down + gave ~1.5L pH water (6.1) 4/28/24 - Day 38 - Got the courage to defoliate and removed some fan leaves covering bud sites & removed some small branches 4/29/24 - Day 39 - She was getting droopy and looking thirsty. Gave her 1gal. of water w/nutes. Soil was too dry, a lot of the water ran off. Added 1.5ml Micro, 5ml Bloom and 1ml cal-mag. 5/1/24 - Day 41 - She's looking happy and healthy, which makes me happy.

5/3/24 - Day 43 (Start of week 7) - Watered 1/2 gallon pH - 6.3 (Hindsight: Could've waited another day before watering) & minor defoliation. 5/5/24 - Day 45 - Fed ~3/4 gallon water with nutes - 1.5ml/gal FloraMicro, 7ml/gal FloraBloom and 3/4ml/gal Cal-mag. She's got over an 1" taller the last couple days. Starting to do more than just the basics now and shifting some attention to lighting. She's kinda more towards one side of the light while my other is finishing and because it's taking up all the room. Using the Photone app I get a PPFD reading of ~630 and a DLI reading of ~44. Once the big one is out, she'll be centered. I changed the tent up a little. Switched from filter and fan inside to filter inside and fan outside. There's less smell outside of the tent now, almost no smell other than what I can smell of the filter. For the light I removed the power brick and controller and relocated to the outside of the tent. Temps were starting to reach mid 80's F and I'll have to check again later but I think by removing them, the temps have dropped to mid-high 70's F. Also for air flow I'm using a 6" Clip-on fan towards the top and a more powerful temp controlled fan in the floor for moving cooler air to help with temps and for air flow. 5/6/24 - Day 46 - She now has the tent to herself to finish out with. New grow starting shortly before this Medusa is ready.

She's got a bit of a lavender scent or maybe a strong floral scent. It's a very pleasing scent. All the different smells I'm experiencing by growing my own has been exciting. Buying off the street it always smelled the same, sometimes it might be a stronger smell than before. And I never knew the strain of what I was getting so Idk what a lot of the different scents of cannabis really smell like. There's a couple that are obvious, like some bud smells exactly like there's a skunk in the area and some people find it weird that I like the smell of a distant skunk 😂. Day 50 (5/10/24) - Start of week 8 - watered 1.5l pH to 6.3, last night + ran 1 gallon of pH'd water a couple hours later. Cause: EC of run-off was over twice the EC of the nutrient mix. Salt build up? Day 52 (5/12/24) - watered 1.5l, pH - 6.2 Day 54 (5/14/24) - watered ~2l, pH - 6.3 Day 56 (5/16/24) - watered ~3l (watered to run-off for EC check - @730ppm)

Day 59 5/19/24 - I think it's the last feed with nutrients. 1gal w/Tiger Bloom & Big Bloom +Cal-mag. She's showing some deficiencies as expected from only giving water for a while, trying to flush the soil some. Day 61 5/21/24 - Looks like the last feeding was a little hot. I should've just used the GH nutes and like the rest of the grow. She seems to be powering through it though and still looking happy and smells great. She's always "praying" which is progress. Usually I've done something to stress them too much. There's still some clear trichomes but hardly any amber. I don't think she'll go the full 75 days, might be close though.

Grow Questions

On multiple leaves but mostly just on a single blade, starting near the center of the blade which is strange to me. First turning pale and then to brown. Definite nute issues, I just got an EC meter and wasn't flushing until recently. PPM is pretty high so salt build up im sure.

I think you are correct in the assumption of salt build up. I think what you are seeing is a burn on the tips from too much salt and not enough water. Nick, from rooted leaf talked in depth about this and what happens is your plant is taking up salts (nutrients) constantly and sometimes you do not have enough water to go along with the salts in the tissue so they get an osmosis shock and it happens at the tips first because that if the furthest point from water. I assume that at one point within the last two weeks the soil got slightly too dry between watering and you are seeing the results of that. As far as flushing is concerned, I do not think you need to do a flush at the moment. What I would do is mix your nutrients to a slightly lower EC and feed more for the next two watering. And by more, I mean make enough mix to allow about 20-30% run off. This will rinse out a lot of your salt build up while still proving food for your plant. I hope this helps.

5/23/24 | Day 63 - Chopped earlier this morning (end of Week 10). Do I always jump the gun? Probably, I'll figure it out though. I do this for personal use and maybe some family, so I'm not losing anything and I prefer the effects of an earlier harvest rather than later. This seed to harvest has definitely been my smoothest. She was like the quiet kid in the corner that never makes a fuss. Which I guess is what happens as you improve at something, I definitely feel like I have over the last few plants. I love how small she stayed, less than 24 inches. She smells amazing and what's even crazier is the smells that were being released each time a branch was cut off and how strong it was. Like a huge wave of it hitting me in the face each time. My room is smelling great now too as she's in the closet not far away. Very easy one to grow, no real problems until that last feed with stuff I hadn't used before. But so far it's one of my favorites and I feel the same way after drying and a smoke test. I got some seeds for Titan F1 that I'm thinking is going to be next.
