Hi all!
Got some more weird stuff for you this week! My green gelato has a few mutations going on not only one!
First note that the leaves where brightening a bit to much for my taste so I put in a tab splitted in 4 to make it more even. The plant regained quickly some darkness, way before the two weeks expected for the tab to chelate. Except this nothing has changed in the feeding, Ro water and some cal/mag.
So last week I showed you the leaf inception on one of the bigger fan leaves. It turns out that every "floor" has it's own mutation on the fan leaves so you will see at the lower internode that a complete leaf is growing at the center of the big one. A very tiny leaf I even didn't notice before. Then you have that internode with the two leaves growing in the middle. Then continuing higher you have another piece of leaf still growing at the center of another bigger one! Had to do some macro shots of all this mutations! Sadly the top leaves will be cut of when I top the plant but the other will stay for a few more weeks.
Apart from this and as you will notice I started the training on her, let the fun begin!!
Cya!
Hands down, simply the most beautifully taken, perfectly lit, professional grade, stunning, possibly the finest photographs of any cannabis plant in the universe. Seriously, I dismissed someone's suggestion of getting the tripod out and properly lighting my plants as way too much effort for little gain. You've clearly shown it to be worth it. Your pictures took my breath away, as I clicked through them, you took me on a journey into this stunning plant. Your photographs are in my opinion, actual works of art. I had to say, wow, it took a utterly spectacular plant to do it of course, but your magnificent photographs have let me see how much better I can do. Thank you for that, I appreciate it. As one post said, literal eye orgasms. Thank you for setting the bar so high, I look forward to trying to emulate this level of photo quality. Not sure I will ever get there but wow, you have a spectacular sense of composition, and the progression. Best.Photographs.Ever. Whew, whole nother level beyond that which I thought to be possible. Oh the trimming on those buds, seriously, you removed every single trace of leaf, did you use a razor blade and about a week of focused attention? Its so good it took me three views to realise what I was looking at. Never seen anyone manicure buds to that level of perfection. Another cross over where it becomes an artform. Any way, hope this doesn't seem over the top, its not often I see someone do something so spectacularly it takes the mundane into the sublime. Your photographs are sublime. Thank you.
@TheFoxFarmer, Hi mate!! Happy you are joining the ride! After defo the mutation is still there! Will see what happens, I hope she will grow some buds there too! π
So sorry to hear you were not feeling great lately! I know I have some of those blues too, I guess we all have..the side effects of life...
Maybe just top dress with some Epsom salt, straight on top of soil.
I suspect it is one of the best additive for stressed plants and human! Also cheap! Perhaps it works by pulling out of plants toxic salt and stress hormones? easy for plants to utilise? Lol
All the bestπ
@Eauderay, Thanks for your support and interest mate! Yes epsom salt would maybe have helped. I usally don't let things go this far but I'll probably get some to have it on my shelves. π
@Budofpray, Hi BoP! you are very welcome, I like how you are documenting your grows, great effort!! Keep up the good infos!! I'll see if I can help but seems to me you are very well started! π
@Eauderay, Hi Eauderay! Sorry I had to stay away from GD for a few month but I'm back at it now and I'll be updating my diaries very soon! There will be a huge gap in the weeks but you will see the end of flowering anyway. Your Green Gelato look very nice btw! Good job!
Hi bro you seem to get a few issues , whatβs the runoff EC and ph ? I should add these look lovely π also these bud so dense , be real careful to get enough space π
@BigDaddyK, Hi mate! Yeah it looks like I might have some! The EC is correct @700 but I think the PH could be very high and have locked some elements. The problem is that I broke my PH meter a few weeks ago and I wont get a new probe before next year sadly! So I'm kind of blind regarding this parameter right now. I also need to figure out if I need to reload the bacteria population like Biotabs advises to do after week 5. It's always tricky when you are using new nutes for the first time... And it looks like the two more sativa strains are even more affected! Anyway I can't wait more to flip them so I'll be doing it this w-e. Btw thank for your care mate!
great pictures mate! :) good luck :thumbsup_tone3: i love biotabs, that stuff is great. but maybe i wouldnβt count day one that early..more like on your βday 6β i would start day 1-2..and definitely install a small fan so the girls donβt stretch that much :thumbsup_tone3:
@@flowerboy, thanks! Yes for the first time I started the calendar a bit too soon but with Biotabs I'm not really worried about that. And I need that little stretch to be sure I will be able to install my lst gear so I usually wait two week before plugging in the fan!
