Sejanus21 My newest journey features Tropical Mirage. I am really looking forward to growing this special plant. She popped out of the peat pellet after three days. Today, I put her into her final 20l pot with the new Plantura Bio Soil 2.0, enriched with Dynomyco Mycorrhiza. I will try to keep her outdoor using the full German summer and let her bloom naturally. At night and when the weather gets too bad, I will put her in the greenhouse for the time being. Any comments and advice is appreciated. I really enjoy being part of this inspiring community.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage is growing nicely in the greenhouse. Because I had a major attack of thrips and gnats on my larger plants, I preemptively treated the soil with nematodes.

Sejanus21 Due to the bad weather in Germany, the plant was in the greenhouse. The new Plantura soil 2.0 seems to have a lot of nutrients. My Tropical Mirage is clearly sensitive to overfeeding and is stunned and yellow green. Therefore, I will give her no additional food this week. Since this is not an auto, I am not worried about loosing a week of growth.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage is still suffering from the heavily fertilized soil; her leaves are yellow and she is growing very slowly. I hope she will get over it in the next week. The environmental conditions were ideal. We had a lot of sunshine and less rain in the last week in Germany. I put her in the sunlight at day on in the greenhouse at night.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage grows very slowly. I probably overwatered and overfed her in the beginning, but now I added a little Alga Grow, because I suspect the slow growth is now caused by a nitrogen deficiency. I am still not sure, whether it is over- or underfeeding :-( But at least she looks healthy now. Let us keep our fingers crossed that she accelerates her growth in the next days. The weather last week in my region of Germany was cold and rainy, so I kept the plant in the greenhouse. This does not help either to give her a growth kick.

Sejanus21 Finally, Tropical Mirage seems to have rooted firmly and now is starting to grow noticeably. The weather was cloudy and rainy, so I kept the lady in the greenhouse for most of the week. We have ideal conditions ahead in the next days so I am curious whether she will be able to make a further jump in growth.

Sejanus21 This week the conditions were ideal. A lot of sunshine, warm temperatures. Tropical Mirage was in the garden at day and in the greenhouse at night. She added another 10cm in growth, not spectular, but good. Anyway, the lady is looking super healthy; I just need to feed her according to schedule and she is doing her thing.

Sejanus21 The weather was rainy and colder again. Therefore, I kept the lady in the greenhouse for most of the time. Tropical Mirage is growing consistently, but much slower than Special Queen #1 and Euphoria. This is not a problem. She looks healthy and I will give her at least another five weeks of growth if she does not initiate flowering earlier.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage is consistently growing irrespective of the bad weather. Therefore, I had to keep the lady in the greenhouse. But today she enjoys the sunshine; more sunny days ahead; finally, summer is coming to Germany. I treated her with SF Nematode capsules and Neem-Oil, because I saw a few pests on her leaves, nothing worrying, but better prevent any serious attack.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage was outside for the main part of the week, enjoying a lot of sunshine and high humidity. The lady starts to show that she is female. She is in pre-flower. I cut some of the older leaves in the lower part. Also, again treated her with neem-oil to make her ready for my holiday. Before I leave, I will give her 60g of Green House Feeding BioBloom, which should be enough until harvest. I am curious, whether this depot fertilizer is as good as my usual Plagron stuff.

Sejanus21 The lady starts to flower. Because I am on holiday for the next two weeks I added extra soil with 60g of Green House Feeding Bio Bloom, which should be enough as a basic nutrient for the next 8 weeks. I keep my fingers crossed that the irrigation system (Gardena Master 1892) works reliably; I set it up to drip 1.5l a day. I could only install it on the last day before my departure and it might have problems changing between the four channels of my Gardena water distributor (1197-20); one is for my green house and potted tomatoes and chilies, the others are for flowers etc of wifey.

Sejanus21 I am still on holiday. My irrigation system seems to work. I can only show you a video from my Blink in the greenhouse, showing 24 hours from Friday to Saturday. Tropical Mirage is the cannabis plant in the front; she seems to be well. You can also see Euphoria in the back and right in front a giant basilicum hybrid and a Lila Luzi chili plant. Next sunday, I will be back with a more detailed report. Meanwhile, I am testing a few new strains in coffeeshops in Den Haag and Amsterdam :-).

Sejanus21 Back from holiday. The lady has survived my absence, although the irrgiation did not work in the last days. My neighbor gave her a little water. She is leaning in one direction, because she was not moved. Also, she did not make a lot of progress. 8cm growth in two weeks and still only preflower. I cut off a lot of hanging and yellow leaves. I also restarted yesterday to giver her Alga Grow and some additives from Plagron. Today, she enjoys the sun outside of the greenhouse. Let us see how she reacts.

Sejanus21 Last week was a good week for Tropical Mirage. I had her outside or in the greenhouse (when it was raining). She grew above 1m (on her 99th day:-) and shows flowers everywhere. I could not resist to add Sugar Royal and Pure Zym every second watering. Today, I also treated her with neem-oil to prevent all those little pests.

Sejanus21 We had another sunny and hot week here in Germany. Tropical Mirage is enjoying the weather and is building beautiful buds. The resin production is impressive. BioBloom is really effective; I added it six weeks ago and still do not need to add fertiliser. I prepared a place in the basement for the lady for rainy days.

Sejanus21 The temperatures have fallen dramatically in Germany in the last week. I put the lady under a roof in the garden and defoliated here. I also added a little Alga Bllom and Sugar Royal every second watering. She looks healthy and the buds are further thickening. Next week, we will have another warm week, so I really hope to get this grow done without mildew or bud rot. Let us keep our fingers crossed!

Sejanus21 It was a sunny and warm week in Germany. Tropical Mirage's buds were getting thicker and more colorful. However, I detected a few more small buds with bud rot, which I removed immediately. Therefore, I moved the lady to our fitness room and improvised a second grow room there, installing my Spider Farmer SF 1000 and a fan. This will be her home from tomorrow. Today, I moved her outdoor, probably for the last time, because there will be rain in the next week. Let us keep our fingers crossed that I can control the bud rod for two or three more weeks until harvest.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage was in her improvised home in the basement. She smells fantastic and is super sticky. I have not detected any additional bud rot. Leaving her outside was not an option due to the rainy and humid conditions. The trichoms are already cloudy. I will probably start to harvest in a week.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage only gets water. She is still in the basement under the SF-1000. The trichoms are not amber, yet, so I will wait at least a few days. Maybe, I will start to harvest progressively by the end of this week.

Sejanus21 Tropical Mirage's smell is heavenly. The trichoms are mostly milky with a little bit of amber. I will cut her tomorrow or on Thursday. This will be a massive harvest :-)
The smell is very intense, melone, citrus. The buds are sticky. But the plant was basically killed by mildew and bud rot. After drying and curing for three weeks, I vaped 0.1g. With the first inhale, you already feel a pleasant wave of tingling and relaxation, which becomes more intense as you go on. At 180° grapefruit and melon dominate, once I reached 200°, the taste was much sweeter like fruity "gummibärchen". I found the sativa effects to be dominating, more mental than creating a body stone. I will definitely grow her again next season, but will shorten her grow cycle so that I can harvest her still in the German summer.

Sejanus21 I was really shocked when I inspected the plant last Monday. The top bud was rotted and mildew has exploded everywhere. The major mistake was probably to wait a little to long, also maybe the lady would have needed more potassium and calcium in the final weeks. I saved a few branches just to test the taste. I do not recommend to grow this plant according to her natural schedule. If the taste is good, I will try her again, but will shorten her growth period to six weeks and will feed her generously with professional fertilizer. I have done a lot of research and will come up with a special feeding plan. Stay tuned ...
@timbarin, I have bought a Gardena Set for pot irrigation: https://www.gardena.com/de/produkte/bewaesserung/micro-drip-system/tropfbewaesserung-set-terrasse-30-pflanzen/970653301.html
Maybe you can find an English version. It is available at Amazon.
It basically consists of two different sized tubes, which you have to cut according to the distance of your pots; at the end the get a combi element of extension and dripper, so that you can reach all plants. There are several good examples in the manual sheet.
The water comes from a Gardena water distribution system (1197-20) and controller (1892-20), connected to a water tap in the garden. Unfortunately, my system probably stopped working two days ago (I could see it in action on my electricity controller). My neighbor is watering now :-) I will be back on Saturday and will post some more details of the problems in my reports on Sunday. Hope this helps.
