I couldnt believe how fast it was growing everyday. Every other attempt in soil was met with disappointments. I harvested a couple but was not worth it
I am very worried that this could be a male plant. I have invested so much time haha. I've pruned it, but i did not give it time to recover before changing light schedule. Will this cause it to take longer than usual to show preflowers?
Its been 2 weeks since I switched to 12/12. I'm still not 100% sure if its a female. I did some pruning/defoliation just before switching lights, so this may explain why its taking awhile for me to sex it. I also dont have a good microscope. I was worried about light leaks too so I did a better job of keeping dark.
This grow has been so much fun compared to past failures in muddy soil.
I may have went a little overboard defoliating. But I think it will receive a lot more air circulation and light. Getting excited to see buds soon!
I didnt realize how much space the roots are taking up. The nutes I added ended up giving it a bit of a burn, even I gave it the same amount. Learning all the time
Its week 5 of lights out. Im thinking its done strecthing. Ive never seen a plant this large before. The Stems are solid at many spots from supercropping. I have a tent on the way but will need to setup some sort of ventilation system.
I did my final resevoir change for the Northern Lights.
This was by far the best results ive ever had growing this plant. I come to find out after a couple of failed grows my soil may have been the biggest problem. Growing in a hydro low budget homemade DWC really got me more into growing again. I can now take this experience add to my grow setup in the future, for now take a couple of weeks off and start a bigger more in depth journal here. Using this website really helped me to keep track of the grow in ways I couldnt otherwise, or I wouldnt have even bothered. Thanks to all for the comments and happy growing GD team. CHEERS
@CRiSPrGrow, Thanks I am leaning towards 3 days and starting it most likely after the weekend and finishing my flush by the start of week 9. Got some cloudy Trichs already, lower ones mostly clear yet.
@GreenISR, well like I said somewhere on my journal, I live in a super dry place so most small buds were dry by the day after when I finally got the scale it was already a days worth of drying so first weight is way off. It eneded up filling 3 jars one i usually use for a 0z and two smaller 1/2 ounce jars so around 56 grams at final weight
@GreenISR, I only had the scale for a day so those are way off. Honestly I weighed it late at first night threw it back in the tent to dry it for a day weighed it again and let it sit another day but had to give scale back to buddy. So this is way off. It was approx an 0z and a half to 2 0z dried
The flowering of your plants looks to be progressing very well. There not much better than watching the flowering nodes begin to take shape and form beautiful buds. I'm eager to see how your grow finishes up and I wish you all the best in the rest of growing these girls. Cheers :D
@garneroutlaw, thanks buddy, I've had some problems growing in the past and this one has been so much better. Honestly now I can order some good seeds and not have to worry too much about what to expect.
