Tried to do some defoliation this week which is the first three pictures and the second three are from this evening. This is the going to be the fourth week of 12/12 should there be more of a formation of bud or are things looking okay. Still having trouble with the humidity even with a humidifier in the tent. Temps have been regulated finally using a heater outside the tent. Still hoping for something good with my first plant!!

My indoor seedlings did just this same thing, small discoloration and mild curling. I've read its pretty common for the cotyledons to turn out this way and not to worry. Just make sure you've got decent humidity(maybe a cup over the top), good drainage holes, a good temperature and decent light but not excessively intense . I too have a basement and wow is it difficult to keep up the overall room temperature unless i have a heater run nonstop. The best i can do is have them in a tent or enclosed space and allow my lights to help with the temp and then boost mildly with a heater during the dark hours. I see your plants looking healthy this week so good job on keeping up the battle.✌️

The ppm for my nutrient solution was around 600 and I followed the schedule for fox farm. How do I increase the PPM, also what would you recommend for the best RH/Temp for the room as well the distance of light to top of plant?

Hey there so first with the rh/temp I'm constantly hearing about vpd(vapor pressure deficit) and that's essentially what that is heat and humidity. I was always thinking that high humidity in veg is great of coarse, the swampier the better, but flowering I'd always heard around 50% and a variety of temps but typically 70 degrees F. But now I'm hearing more about keeping things around 75 heat and 70% humidty is a good range to be...something about keeping things consistent is always a plus so if you choose lower rh for fear of pm etc then try to at least keep it constant. The fluctuation is sometimes what will cause more damage than running a higher rh or temp. With the ppm i believe it goes 0(RO water/distilled) -400(ive heard 700 also) being very hard water, and then as you add nutrients it will increase beyond that. If you have a tds meter with your ph pen that will check your plain water(tap or otherwise). Your nutrient water should fall somewhere in the 400-800 range, but that'll all depend upon your original water reading. You could increase the ppm either by using tap water versus r.o or i suppose by increasing the nutrients, basically use nutrient rich water. Science! Isn't it amazing and exhausting all at the same time? 😊

what tips can you provide for this stage of growth. Hoping to just let her grow and enjoy the light for the next couple weeks.

Keep going 😁👍 everything looks super.👌 Stay 1/3 - 2/3 with nutrients to dont overfeed her. Maybe you can go closer with your leds but i dont know which lights you use 😅 Good luck ✌️

Picture 4 this week. I know I had nute burn early in the grow but have limited the amount being added every other to third watering. Not sure what is causing this change. Any advice will help!

So essentially whats going to happen if you over feed in a soil medium is that it will retain for much much longer then say a soiless or hydroponic set up . With that being said if you noticed nutrient burn and then slowed down because you seen that you did well the only thing I would have changed is to feed it PH corrected water until the issue was resolved and not lower the dossages . To me your plant looks like its suffering from nitrogen toxicity , you wanna line up your nutrient solution to be more PK oriented because the formation of flowers is really really dependent on it in flowering . The signs for nitrogen toxicity are as follow's the leaves start to really darken and then the tips elongate and make a claw like effect which growers will call "Clawing". So for time being I would recommend that only feed with PH corrected water because to me there is still lots and lots and lots of nutrients in the soil . One thing about nutrients is that typically people wont start feeding the plant nutrients until its showing a sign of deficiency this way you can prevent over feeding leading to toxic levels . I hope this information helps you understand whats happening here and the very easy way you can fix it :) . I wish you the best of luck and your plants a speedy recovery ! -Happy Growing!

Four weeks at 12/12 should show many pistils and small buds. Defoliation may have delayed flowering- you shocked her by reducing her light*, and then trimmed her. Double shock. Or it’s strain dependent, or you have light leak. If she’s Sativa dominant maybe go 11/13 to ensure she knows it’s flower time *consider reducing light incrementally over a period of 1-2 weeks. I have no evidence this is less stressful than a hard flip, but it makes sense in that it’s closer to nature’s way, and my plants show pistils by the end of the 2 week transition. Usually they do after a hard flip also, but I just believe this is one more way to reduce stress on our girls. Stress may affect flavor or cannabinoids in ways we don’t know. Hunters know a sloppily killed deer’s stress affects the meat’s flavor negatively. Maybe that happens with our plants. Zero stress during flower is always a good idea.

the trichomes looks awesome from here, but I think you might just took more leaves then you should, they really ripe and fatten up when they have lots of energy.. are you already flushing? she will be ready soon. have fun and congrats! Im starting a grow myself, NL from Sensi Seeds, feel free to drop by if you wish! Tchau, do Brazil! =)

I wouldn't remove any fan leaves at this point. Only time you should remove any now is if they are blocking light to your lower buds. Looks you have her spread out pretty good. I would just let her stack those buds.

Looking strong. 68 doesn't seem bad for a night temp...i think it's more like 60 where pm and things thrive.

All the best with this grow. I'm growing the same strain as my first as well. Pretty much on the same week but I haven't switched over to flowering yet.

Hey there, i know your question was several weeks ago but it hit so close to home i had to look. I see you're using the fox farm line. You should pick up their kelp me kelp you product, i read a great couple articles on kelp/seaweed extract and how incredible of a plant tonic it is...at any stage, but especially our young seedling and early veg state. Happy growing. ✌️

Maybe too much light. Move it to a meter or more away. Don’t feed it. Hope for the best

make sure you keep a strict wet dry cycle, seedlings don't like it when it's too humid constantly, but they really hate when it goes dry. wet / dry / wet / dry ... very stressful, i know.... 🚀

Having trouble increasing humidity. I literally have a humidifier in the tent and still can’t get it past 30/35%. I have tried fans off and on, I’ve tried one and one but nothing. I really don’t know what I am doing wrong.

@Clepage4 wrote “I really don’t know what I am doing wrong.” Nothing. Your conditions are your conditions. Cannabis adapts, especially if you were to breed your own seeds, and subsequent generations will thrive in your conditions. Low RH during veg may account for undersized plants at 9 weeks. But don’t sweat it, and now that you’re in flower you want low RH. First grows are about learning, and enjoying your own harvest, regardless of quantity!
