Grow Log – Week 10
Day 64 – 65: Approaching the Final Stage
As we rolled into week 10, the excitement was building. The plants were entering the final stretch, with the buds swelling more each day. The trichome production was in full swing, coating the buds with a thick layer of frost. The grow tent was filled with a rich, potent aroma, signaling that we were nearing the end.
Day 66: Final Nutrient Boost
On day 66, I gave the plants their last shot of nutrients. This final feeding was aimed at giving them the push they needed to finish strong. The plants took it in stride, and the buds continued to bulk up, becoming denser and more resinous. It was clear that they were in peak condition, getting ready for harvest.
Day 67 – 69: Trichome Explosion and Autumn Colors
As the week progressed, the buds were exploding with trichomes. The flowers were heavily coated, giving them an almost shimmering appearance under the grow lights. The leaves were taking on a beautiful autumnal hue, with shades of yellow, orange, and red creeping in. Some of the older leaves were beginning to fall off, a natural sign that the plants were nearing the end of their life cycle.
Day 70: Trichome Check and Harvest Plans
On day 70, I took a closer look at the trichomes with a strong lens. The sight was incredible—most of the trichomes were milky, indicating that the buds were at peak ripeness. A few amber trichomes were starting to show, which is exactly what I was looking for. The plants were just about ready, and I began making plans to harvest and dry them in the next few days.
Overall Progress
Week 10 was all about reaching the finish line. The final nutrient boost on day 66 helped the buds reach their full potential, and the trichomes were everywhere, promising a potent and flavorful harvest. The autumnal look of the leaves added to the visual appeal, signaling that the plants were ready to give their final yield.
With the trichomes turning milky and a few amber ones showing, the timing is perfect for harvest. The anticipation is at an all-time high, and the next few days will be critical as I prepare to cut, trim, and dry these beautiful Sunset Sherbet plants.
This grow has been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see the final results as we move into the harvest phase. The plants have shown amazing resilience and potential, and I’m confident that the buds will deliver a top-notch experience once they’ve been properly cured.
aSeems like you filled your canopy nice with the amount of plants you have. i wouldn't worry to much about topping. i mainly do because Iim doing big plants to keep my plant count down, but if you can fill a tent with smaller plants.thatis the better/quicker way. i honestly would not even top plants if you say got a bunch of nice clones and packed them close enough
