Welcome to my grow log for the Sunset Sherbet strain from Zamnesia. This strain is straight fire, known for its dank qualities and unique genetics. Sunset Sherbet is the lovechild of Girl Scout Cookies and Pink Panties, two legendary strains. This hybrid mix brings the best of both worlds, offering a dope aroma and a potent high. Sunset Sherbet packs a punch with a THC level of up to 24%, making it a heavy hitter for seasoned smokers. Its flavor is a smooth blend of sweet, fruity notes with a hint of berries and citrus, all wrapped up in an earthy finish. In this grow log, I'll break down the process of growing this top-shelf strain. I'm using BioBizz Light-Mix as the grow medium, paired with the BioBizz nutrient line. These organic products are perfect for bringing out the full potential and unique terpene profile of Sunset Sherbet. Roll with me on this journey from germination to harvest, and peep the ups and downs of growing Sunset Sherbet. ~Stefan

Grow Log – Week 1 Day 1 – 2: Germination and Initial Growth The first week kicked off strong. I popped 11 Sunset Sherbet seeds from Zamnesia to pick the best ones for the grow. All seeds showed a high germination rate, and within two days, they were all sprouting. The little plants looked healthy and sturdy, quickly developing their first leaves. Day 3: Support for the Young Plants By day three, some seedlings started getting a bit leggy and were at risk of falling over. To keep them in check, I added some support wires. These wires helped the plants stay upright and grow stronger. The seedlings responded well to the support, continuing to grow healthy. Day 4 – 5: Monitoring and Care The next couple of days were all about keeping a close eye on the young plants. Watering was on point, making sure the soil stayed just right – not too wet, not too dry. The seedlings kept growing steadily, with their first true leaves starting to show. Day 6: Adjusting the Light On day six, I noticed some of the plants were stretching too much, reaching for more light. To fix this, I dropped the grow light closer to the plants. This tweak made sure they got enough light and stopped them from stretching. After this adjustment, the plants started to look more compact and healthier. Day 7: Looking Ahead By the end of the first week, I was stoked with the progress. All 11 plants were doing well, showing no signs of stress or disease. The support wires and the light adjustment did the trick, and the seedlings were growing strong and healthy. I'm really hyped to see how these little ones turn out in the next few weeks. The first few days were promising, and I can't wait to see which seedlings turn out to be the strongest. I'll keep up the careful care and monitoring to make sure these Sunset Sherbet plants have the best shot at thriving.

Grow Log – Week 2 Day 8 – 11: Steady Growth and Monitoring Week 2 started off great, with all 11 seedlings showing solid growth. The support wires were doing their job, and the plants were staying upright and getting stronger every day. The watering routine was on point, making sure the soil stayed just right – moist but not soaked. The plants were loving it, and their leaves were getting bigger and healthier. Day 12: Transplant Day On day 12, it was time to give the best 9 seedlings more room to grow. I transplanted them into 11-liter fabric pots filled with BioBizz Lightmix. This new setup was like moving them into a deluxe crib – plenty of space for the roots to stretch out and get comfy. The plants took to their new homes quickly, with no signs of transplant shock. They were looking happy and thriving. Day 13 – 14: New Homes, Bigger Leaves After the transplant, the plants really started to take off. Their leaves were getting bigger and more vibrant each day. The new fabric pots were perfect, providing great airflow to the roots and keeping the plants nice and healthy. The remaining seedlings in their smaller pots were still doing well too, but the transplanted ones were clearly loving the extra space. Overall Progress By the end of week 2, all 11 plants were looking strong and healthy. The 9 that got transplanted were settling into their new homes perfectly, showing impressive growth and development. The support wires and the light adjustments from week 1 were paying off big time, and the plants were thriving in their environment. I'm really pumped to see how these plants continue to grow in the coming weeks. They've made great progress so far, and I'm confident that with the continued care and attention, they'll keep getting bigger and better. This Sunset Sherbet grow is shaping up to be something special.

Grow Log – Week 3 Day 15 – 16: Growth and First Nutrient Boost Kicking off week 3, the 9 transplanted plants were loving their new homes and putting out some big, healthy leaves. On day 16, it was time for their first nutrient boost. I hit them with 1ml of BioGrow and 0.3ml of Calmag per liter of water. This shot of nutrients was just what they needed. The plants responded immediately, showing more vigorous growth and lush green foliage. Day 17 – 18: Topping Time By day 18, it was time to top the plants to encourage bushier growth. All the plants got topped, and they handled it like pros. The topping went smoothly, and the plants didn’t miss a beat. They were already bouncing back with new growth sprouting from the nodes. This process will help them grow more robust and produce better yields down the line. Day 19 – 20: Post-Topping Recovery The days following the topping saw the plants in recovery mode, but they bounced back quickly. The new growth was strong and healthy, and the plants continued to thrive in their fabric pots. Grow Log – Week 4 Day 22 – 24: Nutrients Kicking In Week 4 started off with a bang. The plants were responding really well to the BioGrow and Calmag nutrients, growing vigorously in all directions. The topping from last week paid off big time, with the plants looking bushier and fuller. They were thriving, and the leaves were a deep, healthy green, showing that they were loving their new home and the nutrient regimen. Day 23: First Defoliation On day 23, it was time for a little defoliation. I removed some of the larger leaves to allow more light to penetrate to the lower parts of the plants. This helps improve airflow and light distribution, promoting better overall growth. The plants took the defoliation in stride, and it was clear they were strong and resilient. Day 25 – 26: Continued Growth and Second Defoliation By day 26, the plants had continued to shoot up and out, filling their space with lush foliage. It was time for another round of defoliation. Once again, I removed some of the larger fan leaves to keep the plants from getting too crowded and to ensure light reached all the developing nodes. The plants were looking fantastic, with new growth constantly emerging. Day 27 – 28: Prepping for Flowering As the week came to a close, it was clear the plants were getting ready to start flowering. They were robust, with thick stems and plenty of growth points. The nutrient regimen was dialed in perfectly, and the plants were showing no signs of nutrient burn or deficiencies. They were just healthy, vigorous, and ready for the next stage. Overall Progress Week 4 was a major success. The plants handled the nutrients like champs and showed explosive growth in all directions. The topping had created a bushy structure, perfect for maximizing yields, and the defoliation sessions helped keep the canopy open and light accessible to all parts of the plants. I’m super stoked to see how these plants transition into the flowering phase. They’ve shown incredible resilience and growth so far, and I’m confident that with continued care, they’ll produce some amazing buds. This Sunset Sherbet grow is on track to be something special, and I can’t wait to see what the next weeks bring.

Grow Log – Week 5 Day 29 – 31: Entering the Flowering Phase Week 5 marked the start of the flowering phase. The plants were transitioning beautifully, with the first signs of buds starting to form. I kept the light cycle unchanged, maintaining a steady routine to avoid any stress on the plants. However, I did focus on lowering the humidity to create an ideal environment for flowering. The plants responded well, showing steady vertical growth and the early development of bud sites. Day 32: Spotting Some Yellow Leaves On day 32, I noticed a few yellow leaves starting to appear. It wasn’t widespread, but enough to catch my attention. I decided to monitor it closely and plan to address it in the coming week. It could be an early sign of nutrient deficiency or a response to the environmental changes as the plants entered the flowering phase. Day 33 – 34: Vertical Growth and Bud Formation Despite the yellow leaves, the plants continued to grow vigorously. They were stretching upwards each day, with the buds developing nicely. The structure created from the earlier topping was now proving beneficial, as the multiple growth points were all developing buds. The plants were looking strong and healthy, aside from the minor yellowing. Day 35: Monitoring and Adjustments As the week drew to a close, I kept a close eye on the plants, monitoring the yellow leaves and overall plant health. The humidity levels were being managed better, and the plants seemed to be settling into the flowering phase. The buds were getting more defined, and the plants continued to grow taller and fuller. Overall Progress Week 5 was a pivotal week, marking the transition into the flowering phase. The plants showed good vertical growth and bud formation, despite the appearance of some yellow leaves. The unchanged light cycle and adjusted humidity were helping to create a favorable environment for flowering. Next week, I’ll address the yellow leaves and make any necessary adjustments to the nutrient regimen. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they develop as the flowering phase progresses. This Sunset Sherbet grow is moving into an exciting stage, and I’m eager to see the buds really start to bulk up in the coming weeks.

Grow Log – Week 6 Day 36 – 38: Settling into Flowering Week 6 started off with the plants firmly in the flowering phase. They were adjusting well, with buds continuing to develop and expand. The environment was stable, but I knew we could make it even better for the upcoming weeks. Day 37: Climate Control Upgrade On day 37, I installed a climate control unit to better manage temperature and humidity. This was a game-changer, as it allowed for more precise control over the growing conditions, ensuring the plants had the optimal environment to thrive in the critical flowering phase. Day 39: Pruning and Addressing Yellow Leaves By day 39, it was time to tackle the yellow leaves and some of the larger fan leaves that were shading the lower buds. I carefully pruned the yellowing leaves and removed some of the bigger leaves to improve light penetration and airflow throughout the canopy. The plants handled the pruning well, and it opened up space for better bud development. Day 40 – 41: Steady Growth and Bud Development Following the pruning, the plants continued to grow steadily. The climate control unit was making a noticeable difference, maintaining perfect conditions and allowing the plants to focus on bud production. The pruning also seemed to have a positive effect, as the lower buds started getting more light and developing faster. Day 42: A Sea of Buds By the end of the week, on day 42, the transformation was incredible. What stood before me was a sea of buds, all reaching up towards the light. The plants looked vibrant and healthy, with the buds swelling and becoming more defined each day. The careful management of climate and pruning had paid off, creating an ideal environment for flowering. Overall Progress Week 6 was a major milestone in the grow. The first week of flowering was successfully navigated, and the installation of the climate control unit set the stage for optimal growth. Pruning the yellow and larger leaves improved light distribution and airflow, which significantly boosted bud development. Looking ahead, I’m excited to see how the buds continue to bulk up and mature. The plants are in a strong position, and with continued care and precise environmental control, this Sunset Sherbet grow is on track to produce some top-quality buds. The sight of a thriving canopy full of buds is a testament to the hard work and attention to detail in the early stages.

Grow Log – Week 7 Day 43 – 45: End of Stretching Phase Week 7 kicked off with the plants nearing the end of the stretching phase. The tops were shooting up, reaching for the light, and looking strong. The earlier topping had done wonders, creating multiple tops with lots of potential. The canopy was full and vibrant, showing signs of a promising harvest. Day 46: New Yellow Leaves On day 46, I noticed some new yellow leaves appearing. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it was something to keep an eye on. We’ve dealt with this before, and I planned to handle it with our usual care next week. The plants were still looking robust overall, with the tops growing tall and the buds developing nicely. Day 47 – 48: Continued Growth and Planning for Maintenance The plants continued to grow steadily, with the tops reaching higher and the buds becoming more defined. The yellow leaves were monitored closely, but the overall health of the plants remained excellent. I started planning for a final round of defoliation and a light lollipop technique to ensure the plants focused their energy on the top buds. Day 49: Frosty Buds By day 49, the buds were looking frosty and dense. The trichomes were developing beautifully, giving the buds a frosty appearance that promised high potency. The plants were thriving under the climate-controlled environment, and the careful management of light and nutrients was clearly paying off. Overall Progress Week 7 was another week of solid progress. The plants were nearing the end of their stretching phase, and the multiple tops created from earlier topping showed significant potential. The appearance of some new yellow leaves was noted and planned for maintenance next week, alongside a final defoliation and a light lollipop technique to streamline the plants' energy towards the buds. By the end of the week, the buds were looking frosty and promising. I’m excited to see how they develop in the next week as we fine-tune the environment and care to push these Sunset Sherbet plants to their full potential. The anticipation for the upcoming harvest is building, and the results so far are very encouraging.

The plants handled the defoliation and lollipop well, bouncing back quickly and continuing to thrive. Day 53: Increased Nutrients By day 53, it was time to give the plants an extra boost. I increased the nutrient levels to support their ongoing development. The plants responded well to the increased nutrients, showing no signs of nutrient burn or stress. The buds continued to swell, and the leaves remained a healthy, vibrant green. Day 54 – 56: Bud Development and Aroma As the week progressed, the tent was filling up with buds. The aroma was becoming stronger, a tantalizing hint of the potent harvest to come. A few phenotypes were showing exceptional potential, with large, dense buds that stood out among the rest. Despite not using any low-stress training (LST), the buds were already quite sizable, a testament to the genetic strength of the Sunset Sherbet strain and the careful care they’ve received. Grow Log – Harvest and Drying The Harvest: The Big Moment Finally, the time has come! After 11 intense weeks, we chopped down the plants and brought in the harvest. We’re absolutely stoked and hyped—it’s been a wild ride full of ups and downs, but the result is just mind-blowing. The plants were hung whole and left to dry slowly and gently for 8 days at a steady 20°C and 60% humidity. That slow drying really did the buds good, preserving their full aroma and potency perfectly. The Finale: Trimming and Weighing After those 8 days of drying, it was time for the final step: trimming and weighing. The result? A jaw-dropping 314g of dried buds—completely blew our minds 🤯. We ended up with an average yield of about 35g per plant, which is a real highlight for this grow. Out of the entire harvest, 18.7g were super dense lollipop buds, perfect for those special occasions. The Smoke: A Lemon Bomb Now for the best part: the smoke. From the very first hit, it was clear this grow produced something special. The smoke is unbelievably smooth, with a sharp, intense citrus flavor that tingles right on your tongue. The high kicks in fast, striking that perfect balance between relaxing and uplifting—ideal for a chill evening or creative sessions. It’s that balance that makes Sunset Sherbet stand out: a strong, clear high paired with a gentle body relaxation that doesn’t glue you to the couch but gets you in the flow. All in all, this grow was a massive success. The weeks of hard work, topping, and careful monitoring totally paid off. The buds not only look fantastic but also deliver an unmatched smoking experience, making this one of the best grows we’ve ever done. Now we’re looking forward to sharing the harvest with friends and enjoying the fruits of our labor.

aSeems like you filled your canopy nice with the amount of plants you have. i wouldn't worry to much about topping. i mainly do because Iim doing big plants to keep my plant count down, but if you can fill a tent with smaller plants.thatis the better/quicker way. i honestly would not even top plants if you say got a bunch of nice clones and packed them close enough
the end.
