first time growing indoor! but i have to admit that i have spend days and days searching info until it all made sense to me.now i am confident enough to use coco coir as a first grow.
i know i should learn growing on soil first.but i am gonna skip that part of growing.
i just have to make sure i don't make to much rookie mistakes.and that should not be a problem
because i don't change or try things until ifully understand how and why.
next week i should have my co2 and lux meter.
4hours light and 2 hours dark in veg mode. watering by hand once every 2 days with at least 10% drainoff.
i use plagron coco bricks with 30%perlite.
watering during flowering .will be automated.

because it's stretch up to 300% i am gonna try to scrog it 2 weeks long. i want to defoliate after 3 weeks but i am scared to stress it to much.😓
we will see, still got 2 weeks to think about it.
i dropped the automated watering. just by hand is easier for me.
she is a hungry girl, i have raised ppm to 1100. hopefully that will satisfy her. ph at 5.7. update in a couple of days.
update 1 : after 10 days of flower i am still scrogging trying to keep her short. the higher ppm is appreciated by her. she's looking a bit darker now.
i am doing 50% drain off to avoid problems with the coco coir.
day 13: looking better every day, i have lowered ppm to 1070. and started to add a small amount of green sensation (pk)
And ... Still Scrogging!
day 14 soil killer came in. time to take care off those insects.
everything is going great. still giving her 25% Nboost. also added soil killer from aptus this week. had some small black flies.
they are gone now. i really like this product.
the second blue dream is doing a little weird. i did not scrog that one. i maybe add some pics if it keeps on stretching. that's it i think. cheers!
Depends on what are you talking about. Do you mean that a glass of water will rise its pH after 24 hours? That is nor normal. If you mean a reservoir (or glass) of feeding solution, varies its pH, then yes it is normal; as the water / nutes concentration varies, the pH will change, which can happen by water evaporating, and the pH will go down as the concentration of nutrients will become stronger, or as the plant takes more nutrients than water, the ph will go up, as water ph is higher than the nutes. To combat this reservoirs have to be big enough so that daily intake of solution is small in comparisson to the overall size of the reservoir. You can also buffer the pH by dumping both pH down and up so the pH is not so easily affected by small changes.
after having ph problems with plagron. i decided to try aptus. we will see if the ladies will adapt without having to much stress.
i lowered ppm back to 950 and started adding super pk. i have also defoliated them. one of them is still stretching.
no trichomes or smell either. so weird,because i treated them the same way.
I will give her one more week. if she's still not ok than i am gonna trow her away
to make more space for the super silver haze i got next to it.we will see.
Aaaaand she's gone, i think it was because of the ph issues that it didn't start flowering.
gonna try some monstercropped plants. but that will be for an other diaries.
also testing a small area with some small white, uv and blue cree led's to see what that will do for yield and or flavor.
looking good so far. the blue of the blue dream is starting to come out.
just riding it out from now. still 3 or 4 weeks to go.i quit adding nboost and start giving pk boost.

it took her only 55 days off flowering and she is ready, trichomes are all milky and 1% is amber. i have been flushing her so tomorrow i am gonna cut her down.for my first grow it all went very well and i recommend this strain because it's a really easy one.(for me)😏
when she is dry i will update the harvest.

she is very hungry, and grows really fast with a thick stem.
she does stretch a lot in flower, easily 200%.
sweet smell and snow white buds.i do not recommend it for a first grow. but if you know what you are doing then go for it. good yield and really tasty medicinal smoke!
she is a pretty easy plant with good yield and taste, she do needs a lot of nutrients. nboost and calmag especially. i gave here up to 20% higher ec than recommended and yet she showed no signs off burns.
And Please take in account that she stretches a lot. i had to overscrog it to the point it took the space of 2 plants. i did not defoliated her enough so a got some fluffy buds to.maybe i will ad some add light inside the canopy.or just defoliate more.
i took a couple of buds to smoke, and all the rest is in curing jars.
And i wont smoke that until its fully ripped!!

@zack1, honestly it should be pretty easy mine went through temperatures from 100 F- 40 F and she was resilient as hell just have to keep up with their nutrients as they can use more than other strains

Blue Dream is very special. its stronger,grow faster an eat much more than any other plant i had. if nothing go's wrong, i will be doing this strain a couple of times just so i can get to know here better.

This is a nice looking plant. Coco coir is really noticeable! Its on par with many week 4 hydro plants and larger than some as well. Nice work so far friend!
