Well, I managed to mess up my first attempt with the Alien OG Auto. An internal circulating fan in my tent conked out and I didn't notice until it was too late. The seedling was stunted and since she's an auto, I didn't want to waste valuable time waiting for her to recover so I decided to just start again. 24 hours floating in water, then 24 hours in a damp paper towel and she is ready for soil.
Day 1 - Normally I start my autos in their forever home, a 5 gallon container. I decided this grow to start in a 1 gallon container and then transplant to the 5 gallon container later as I do with the photos. I normally don't have any transplant shock, so I figured I'd try this. I'm thinking since I'm starting in a 1 gallon container, she'll be getting fed nutrients much more often than she would in a 5 gallon container, for hopefully better veg growth. 😋
Day 2 - She's on her way...
Day 3 - No issues
Day 4 - Watered her with de-chlorinated tap water with 1tsp Advanced Nutrients Sensi Calmag Xtra and .5tsp Recharge per gallon, ph'd to 6.51
Day 5 - Seems happy
Day 6 - She's just kicking back
Day 7 - One week in and she's still alive 😎😜
Day 8 - Watered her with de-chlorinated tap water with 2tsp Grow Big per gallon, ph'd to 6.51
Day 9 - She's my alien 😎
Day 10 - 😴💤💤
Day 11 - She's happy
Day 12 - Watered her with de-chlorinated tap water with .5tsp Sensi Calmag Xtra and .6ml Mammoth P per gallon, ph'd to 6.52
Day 13 - I had her a little too close to the light, getting a little bleaching, so I backed her off a couple of inches
Day 14 - Looking good as new
Day 15 - Watered her with de-chlorinated tap water with 2tsp Grow Big and .5tsp Recharge per gallon, ph'd to 6.53
Day 16 - Waiting for that big growth spurt

Day 19 - She has a nice indica look to her
Day 20 - Might need to water her tonight

Day 22 - She's a very compact indica plant, but many leaf-sets for her size
Day 23 - I was going to transplant her tonight, but she seems to be finally having a bit of a growth spurt so I might wait a minute
Day 24 - They seem to shrink after they get transplanted 😁
Day 25 - No hiccups after the transplant
Day 26 - Probably do a little LST tomorrow
Day 27 - I pulled down and secured the main top
Day 28 - The lower branches are liking the extra light 😎
Day 29 - The lower branches are starting to kick in 😎
Day 30 - My little alien is cool 👽

Day 32 - Starting to get some pistils

My Alien was not a tall girl. but she didn't care. She did her own thing her own way. Looks like her way might have been a pretty good way, my scissors were gunked up almost immediately 😃 And I must say that she was an easy one to trim, took care of it myself in less than an hour. I'm looking forward to this one, smells kinda spicy almost 👽

This is some tasty stony stuff! The yield was small, hey that happens, but the important part is this is some very nice smoke! Smoothest I've had in quite some time, even with minimal cure time. Good stuff 😎
