07/31/24 - placed seed into moistened Happy Frog soil in late evening.
08/02/24 - This morning I could see the bend of the little stem showing in the soil. A few hours later, almost all the way out, but not quite.

7 days old today- she made it!
She’s with 2 other girls under a grow bulb (I’ve been using to start the babies) I will move them to the viparspectra when they are a little further along.
She had her first real watering with run off yesterday. No nutrients or anything. Just dechlorinated ph water. I will water again whenever the soil dries and pots light.
She’s a real cutie
08/16/24. Going into week 2
She’s 14 days old today.
Moved her under the viparspectra yesterday. Dimmed it to 50% at 15.5inches distance. Even so she stretched about a half inch.
She hadn’t had any water since last update until yesterday. It had 1 ml calmag added and ph to 6.5. My last plants had some calcium deficiencies very early on, so not taking any chances.
This is the extra happy girl. She’s always perked up and praying. The edge of one of her leaves looks like it’s starting to claw though. Like nitrogen toxicity.. this soil must just be nitrogen rich because she hasn’t had anything with nitrogen lol. I even made sure the type of calmag I got has like none. Oh well.

08/23/24. Going into week 3
21st day is upon us
Smooth sailing. Liking the look of this one so far. Seems very proportionate.
She got her first watering yesterday, since last update. Added 2 ml silica and 1 ml calmag oh 6.5
She was topped yesterday as well. Had literally no response to it whatsoever.
She’s growing some side shoots and her stems thickened some.
Lights a pos bastard at 15 above and 75% and plants are still stretching like fuck. Makes no damn sense. Seen plenty people with same light at way more distance and 50% or less have plants half as tall LOL. The manufacturer recommended height even would say I should have burned these plants to death by now. 😂

08/30/24. Going into week 4
Transplanted into bigger pot and removed some lower growth that didn’t seem like it would accomplish much.
Have only been giving water when pots light/ soils dry. That had only included silica and calmag. Today pots light & going to give first light feeding at half the dose recommended and see how we do with that
I plan to do some lst sometime this week.
08/31/24. Added two lst clips. Shown in picture
09/06/24. Going into week 5
Not too much going on this week.
Added a couple more lst clips.
Fed mild vegetative feeding at half recommended, which I think I didn’t say last update. Plan is - water, water, feed, when pots dry.
Growth has been a bit slow and she isn’t drinking at a fast rate, so not upping to the aggressive vegetative growth schedule just yet.

09/13/24. Going into week 6
Friday the 13th! Nothin but good vibes 🍀
Sooo honestly haven’t changed anything from last week other than removed some lst clips, and everyday I go in and bend branches the way I want them.
Haven’t increased feeding yet as slooowww drinking is real here. Pot still isn’t very light and I haven’t watered since last week. This is kinda bizarre to me, but she looks healthy, so whatever right?
Training seems to definitely have her opened up, but also not getting any new branching which I also don’t get, as my other girls are putting them out. I guess this one’s just slow plying.
I want to try and transplant her into her last pot this weekend if possible, as I want her to have plenty time to adjust etc before flower flip, which will probably be in 2 weeks.
I’ll be continuing to hand bend to shape her daily in the meantime. Will probably add more lst clips as well as removing some others.

09/20/24. Going into week 7
Transplanted her about 4 days ago into a tote with about 9 gallons of soil/perlite. Added some worm shit underneath her and thoroughly watered with plain water ph 6.5.
She didn’t seem phased by the transplant. Added trellis, and she’s already growing into it.
It’s been staying a bit warm even with ac going. The humidity has also been hard to raise due to the ac. It’s been around 40% which isn’t ideal, but it is what it is.
She’s not really branching out much, especially compared to her friends. Hopefully she does at some point as I’d like to have more than 4 colas lol.

09/27/24. Going into week 8
Finally getting near the shape I wanted before flipping to flower. The training has went pretty well. Now I’m just tucking things where I think I want them.
Soil had stayed pretty moist until yesterday. Hadn’t watered for like a week. I watered/fed 1 gallon a bit at a time. Surprisingly, there was no run off. Next water I will increase the amount I have made up and see what it takes to get about 10%.
Finally got the humidity up some as well, which seems to have made her much perkier and happier looking. 55-60%
Light is at about 40% at about 20 inches up.

10/04/24.
Uh oh. We got the first into flower week.
Light has been changed to 12/12.
It’s 50% at about 22 inches.
Watered/fed 2 days ago and this time 10% run off was obtained with a gallon and a half- watered slowly, a bit every 20 minutes or so until the runoff.
The watering is only about once a week currently, as the soil is staying moist. I check with my finger. Think I disturbed some roots that were growing right under the top of the soil. Oops.
I’m tucking branches and leaves that seem much taller than others. Probably won’t be able to do that for too much longer.

10/11/24. Start of week 2 flower
Starting to get some action. Little buddies are emerging.
I’m no longer tucking branches as I don’t wanna mess with any bud formations. Didn’t quite fill out as I’d hoped, but it’ll be alright. Lotsa empty area that was devoted to her. Half of her filled out but not the other. Don’t really get it.
Didn’t feed with regular nutrients this past week. I made a tea with worm castings, molasses, and roots organic terp tea bloom. That was 2 days ago. Will do plain ph’d water tomorrow or the next day (when soils dryer).
Stretch is happening but not too much so far, just a few inches. It’s kinda keeping level with the tallest plant because it’s lifted up.

10/18/24. Beginning of week 3 flower
Happy Friday let’s update
Stretch seems to have concluded for this girl and she’s been busy starting bud production. There wasn’t much stretch overall.
She’s drinking about a gallon and a half of water every 4 days currently. She was watered with plain water last watering, and will get the same today. Next after this will be a feed.
Cleaned up the bottom of the plant. Got rid of branches that won’t get light, and leaves that were just making humidity problems.
No suspected deficiencies or anything like that to mention with this one atm.

10/25/24. Jumpin on into the start of week 4 flower.
She decided to grow a couple more inches this past week but still did some good developing on her buds. Definitely more than the little puff balls they were.
Not too much to mention this week.
Fed her about 4 days ago with half of manufacturers flowering and ripening schedule. Will be giving plain ph water today that I ph’d a bit high at about 7 because I’m having slightly low runoffs.
The watering amount to about 10% run off is a gallon and a half.

11/01/24. Week 4 down, time to start week 5 flower.
Not much excitement this update.
Watered her today with a gallon and a half of water with silica and calmag. She has a bit of burning looking crap on her tips and in margins. I’m not sure if it’s nutrient burn or potassium deficiency? Her friend has the same thing except it’s a bit worse. I’m going to feed that one some potassium and not this one and see what happens to try to make a conclusion. Is it stupid? Probably.
Other than that she’s just chillen and growing her lil buddies.

11/08/24. Start of week 6 flower.
So after last week of comparing two plants with the same symptoms.. giving other one some potassium and this plant none- that one started yellowing heavily and this one continued previous symptoms.
It seems slow here and still looks more like nutrient burn vs a deficiency, so for now I fed with water and calmag/silica. She takes about a gallon and a half for run off.
Her buds are growing very quickly. They are the biggest in the group of plant friends. They smell the most funky too.
Had a bit of a scare for a few days. It rained and rained for days and the humidity was so high that it was raising it inside. It was into the 70% INSIDE. I opened the tent fully and turned up all the fans. I turned on the ac as well even though it was kinda cold. Did that just to bring humidity down to the 60%. Even that was giving me a heart attack. Now we’re finally at like 58% which is still way higher than it should be.
I don’t see any rot happening so far. Maybe the amount of airflow has saved things. I’m sure crossing my fingers and hoping so.
There’s more rain forecasted for this weekend. Ugh.

11/15/24. Welcome to week 7 flower.
These freaking buds keep growing. They smell really funky. I smell no sweet, no anything other than skunky haha. It’s kind of offensive.. it in a good way? You smell it and just go phewwww 😄
She’s been drinking about every 3-4 days. I gave her a feeding yesterday.
I assume she won’t be ready for a couple weeks still. She has lots of white pistils sticking out everywhere. She’s still filling out, and drinking steadily. She also looks like she’s trying to foxtail a bit. It’s definitely not from heat or being too close to the light. Must just be what she wants to do idk. Not a fan of that.
Anyway, this one worries me a bit with the size her buds are getting and humidity issues.
The fucking humidity keeps coming back. I’ve been able to mostly keep it 60 or under. Obviously I don’t even want it that high, but it’s the best that can be done. The humidity outside is low today..at 77% 😒. Yeah, that’s actually low, as it’s been between 85-92% outside the past days. It’s also cold so that’s even worse. I’ve had to leave the tent open with fans blowing crazy. Trying hard to keep rot from happening.

11/22/24. It’s the start of week 8 flower.
Not much really to talk about here this week.
Still feeding as she seems to have more than a week or two left. Still lots of white pistils and they’re sticking out all over. Trichomes are barely milky as well.
Humidity is chillin currently. I hope it stays that way cuz these buds are thick and damn I do not want rot.
I dimmed the light down to about 60%. I want her to finish faster before humidity comes back lol.

11/29/24. Week 9 flower.
Having real problems updating this week so I’ll keep it short. Not much to mention anyway.
This lady still has mostly clear trichomes and lots of non receding, and white pistils.
Guessing she still has about 2 weeks left but I’ll keep an eye on her. Still feeding her and she’s drinking normally. I did decrease the light to about 60%
Update- chopped 12/05/24
Idk if I was tard or it’s possible for huge trichome change in a matter of a few days, but there was mostly cloudy with some amber.
She hung for 12 days at 68/60 inside a tent that was slightly open with a fan pointed at a wall for air movement.
My first experience with random seeds in buds that seem to have come from nowhere. No signs of sacks, could only guess stealthy naners..idk. Luckily this didn’t affect my other plants.
Anyway, not pleased about that. Also for as big as these buds were .. they don’t weigh shit lol. Big airy and meh and no it’s not just the conditions, my other buds from same grow are fucken great. I’m sure someone would enjoy these airy buds.. but I’m not impressed. The buds look nice in a picture, that’s all. First impression for this place isn’t good for me. Would not grow again.
I guess you could say I DID thunderfuck around and found out .. eh..
