07/31/24 - placed seed into moistened Happy Frog soil in late evening. 08/02/24 - This morning I could see the bend of the little stem showing in the soil. A few hours later, almost all the way out, but not quite. Apple Fritter is a high-THC cross between two US heavyweights: Sour Apple and Animal Cookies. Both are hybrids boasting exceptional potency, exotic aromas, and fast flowering times. Once dried and cured, Apple Fritter’s aromas and flavours definitely live up to its enticing name, combining sweet, pastry-like notes with notable hints of sour, lightly acidic green apples laced with earthy undertones. Expect an almost immediate rush to the head that’ll leave you uplifted, energetic, and elated. Meanwhile, as the mental high shifts and becomes more clear, positive, and focused, you’ll likely notice a subtle, relaxing physical buzz. With this in mind, Apple Fritter is a great smoke to share with friends, or to include in your wake and bake regimen. Just remember to watch your dosing; with 25% THC, Apple Fritter can easily overwhelm even experienced smokers.

08/09/24 7 days old today- she made it! She’s with 2 other girls under a grow bulb (I’ve been using to start the babies) I will move them to the viparspectra when they are a little further along. She had her first real watering with run off yesterday. No nutrients or anything. Just dechlorinated ph water. I will water again whenever the soil dries and pots light. She has a purple-ish stem, the others don’t. (Just observation)

08/16/24. Going into week 2 She’s 14 days old today. Moved her under the viparspectra yesterday. Dimmed it to 50% at 15.5inches distance. Even so she stretched about an half inch. She hadn’t had any water since last update until yesterday. It had 1 ml calmag added and ph to 6.5. My last plants had some calcium deficiencies very early on, so not taking any chances. She has some weird marks on one of her leaves, which I think may be from me spilling water on it. Will keep an eye on it anyhow. I think that about covers it for now. Have a good weekend :)

08/23/24. Going into week 3 Hello 21 days. This past week hasn’t been too exciting No water since last update until yesterday. Watered full pot slowly. Gave a bit, waited about ten minutes, repeated until a little water came out the bottom. Water had 2 ml silica and 1 ml calmag ph 6.5 Topped her yesterday and she wasn’t phased by it. She said .. bitch that’s all you got? Her little stem is starting to thicken and side shoots are starting to grow. She’s the biggest is width- leaf span? out of the plants I have going. Starting to think I got a defect light or something. I can crank this thing to 75% 15 inches above these and they still stretch at a rate I do t understand. I see people with short plants (3 inches) with this same light at like 50% 24 inches away. Like wtf. Anyhow, think I covered everything. Have a good weekend ✌️

08/30/24. Going into week 4 Transplanted into bigger pot and removed some lower growth that didn’t seem like it would accomplish much. Have only been giving water when pots light/ soils dry. That had only included silica and calmag. Today pots light & going to give first light feeding at half the dose recommended and see how we do with that I plan to do some lst sometime this week Copy n pasting this weeks updates across veg plants since all things are the same. 08/31/24. Added two lst clips. Shown in picture

09/06/24. Going into week 5 Not much to list this week. Added more lst clips. Think I forgot to talk about nutrients much last time, so I’ll add here. Was giving mild vegetative feed at half recommended. Plan to water, water, feed, when pots are light. When I see more aggressive growth and she drinks at a faster rate, I’ll switch to aggressive growth schedule. If anything changes I’ll come update. Have a good weekend

09/13/24. Going into week 6 Friday the 13th! Nothin but good vibes 🍀 Sooo honestly haven’t changed anything from last week other than removed some lst clips, and everyday I go in and bend branches the way I want them. Haven’t increased feeding yet as slooowww drinking is real here. Pot still isn’t very light and I haven’t watered since last week. This is kinda bizarre to me, but she looks healthy, so whatever right? Training seems to definitely have her opened up, and she’s doing plenty of branching as you can see in the pictures, or well.. hope I showed it good enough. I want to try and transplant her into her last pot this weekend if possible, as I want her to have plenty time to adjust etc before flower flip, which will probably be in 2 weeks. I’ll be continuing to hand bend to shape her daily in the meantime. Will probably add more lst clips as well as removing some others. That about does it for now. Have a good weekend 😺 09/16/24. Transplanted- pictures added

09/20/24. Going into week 7 Transplanted her about 4 days ago into a tote with about 9 gallons of soil/perlite. Added some worm shit underneath her and thoroughly watered with plain water ph 6.5. She didn’t seem phased by the transplant. Added trellis, and she’s already growing into it. It’s been staying a bit warm even with ac going. The humidity has also been hard to raise due to the ac. It’s been around 40% which isn’t ideal, but it is what it is. She’s branching out nicely. Think that’s it for now. Have a great weekend ✌️

09/27/24. Going into week 8 Finally getting near the shape I wanted before flipping to flower. The training has went pretty well. Now I’m just tucking things where I think I want them. Soil had stayed pretty moist until yesterday. Hadn’t watered for like a week. I watered/fed 1 gallon a bit at a time. Surprisingly, there was no run off. Next water I will increase the amount I have made up and see what it takes to get about 10%. Finally got the humidity up some as well, which seems to have made her much perkier and happier looking. 55-60% Light is at about 40% at about 20 inches up. Don’t think I missed anything. Have a good weekend 😺

10/04/24. Uh oh. We got the first into flower week. Light has been changed to 12/12. It’s 50% at about 22 inches. Watered/fed 2 days ago and this time 10% run off was obtained with a gallon and a half- watered slowly, a bit every 20 minutes or so until the runoff. The watering is only about once a week currently, as the soil is staying moist. I check with my finger. Think I disturbed some roots that were growing right under the top of the soil. Oops. I’m tucking branches and leaves that seem much taller than others. Probably won’t be able to do that for too much longer. That about covers it. Have a good weekend ✌️

10/11/24. Start of week 2 flower Starting to get some action. Little buddies are emerging. I’m no longer tucking branches as I don’t wanna mess with any bud formations. Didn’t quite fill every area but still spread pretty well. I added some soil around the base of the plant as some big roots were exposing themselves. Looks too late for one of them.. it turned green. I was advised that it probably tried to turn into a branch from being exposed to light. Hopefully the other was covered in time. There’s also little root nubbins up the stem. Didn’t feed with regular nutrients this past week. I made a tea with worm castings, molasses, and roots organic terp tea bloom. That was 2 days ago. Will do plain ph’d water tomorrow or the next day (when soils dryer). Stretch is happening but not too much so far, just a few inches. I honestly hoped this one would stretch a bit to get more level with the others. If not, I’ll get it lifted up to match, or close. Thinks that’s it for now. Have a good weekend ✌️

10/18/24. Beginning of week 3 flower It’s another Friday update I believe stretch concluded last week for this girl. She hasn’t stretched much. She’s definitely started focusing on bud production which is just fine with me. Out of the three varieties growing, she’s ahead. Cleaned up the bottom growth. Got rid of useless branches and some thick areas of leaves. Gotta get some airflow. This one drinks slower than the others. Giving them 2 times her 1. She’s drinking about a gallon and a half a week. The rest will get water today, she’s still chillin with moist soil. Maybe tomorrow or the next day. I’m not sure if her red petioles are deficiency, genetics, or because it got a bit cold a few times. I don’t see any leaf problems atm so I’m not going to get too worried about it for now. Thanks for checkin in. See yuh next time & have a good weekend ✌️

10/25/24. Jumpin on into the start of week 4 flower. Now we’re fuckin bakinnnn She decided to grow a couple more inches this past week but still did some good developing on her buds. Definitely more than the little puff balls they were. Not too much else to mention this week. Fed her about 4 days ago with half of manufacturers flowering and ripening schedule. Will be giving plain ph water today that I ph’d a bit high at about 7 because I’m having slightly low runoffs. The watering amount to about 10% run off is a gallon and a half. That should catch us up. Thanks for stoppin by and have a good weekend ✌️

11/01/24. Leaving week 4 behind and into week 5 flower we go. This baby has some concerning leaves. I’m not sure if she’s got nutrient burn, or potassium deficiency. I’ve been watching and trying not to overreact and cause more problems. It’s getting worse though and I hadn’t fed more, just water and it continued, so today I’m giving her a bit of potassium to see if there’s any reaction. Her friend has the issue as well, but only just started. I’m going to give her friend just water with silica and her calmag and see if the problem worsens. If I’m not feeding the other and it continues and this one stops having the problem, I’ll figure they just needed more potassium. Hope I explained what’s in my head well enough to make sense to you. Anyway, other than that her lil buddies are growing and starting to get more frosty and smelly. Kinda a sour-ish funky smell. Thanks for lookin & have a good weekend ✌️

11/08/24. Start of week 6 flower. So after last week of comparing two plants with the same symptoms.. giving this one some potassium and the other plant none- this one started yellowing heavily and the other continued previous symptoms. The other still looks like nutrient burn, while this one looks like it’s starving. Based on that, I continued with water for the other, and gave this one a full feeding, not just potassium (half manufacturer ripening & bloom). We will see how it goes. That aside, buds continue to develop nicely and are getting just covered in frost. Had a bit of a scare for a few days. It rained and rained for days and the humidity was so high that it was raising it inside. It was into the 70% INSIDE. I opened the tent fully and turned up all the fans. I turned on the ac as well even though it was kinda cold. Did that just to bring humidity down to the 60%. Even that was giving me a heart attack. Now we’re finally at like 58% which is still way higher than it should be. I don’t see any rot happening so far. Maybe the amount of airflow has saved things. I’m sure crossing my fingers and hoping so. There’s more rain forecasted for this weekend. Ugh. Thanks for lookin & have a good weekend ✌️

11/15/24. Welcome to week 7 flower. Got some interesting bud happenings recently. Some buds look like they are from two different plants. What? Well, some look to not have any colors going on really, like just normal green leaves etc. Then some others are developing reddish/ purple hues. You’d think maybe it’s the light, but they are similar height and closeness. Nothing important, just observation. You’ll notice in pictures. She’s been drinking about every 3-4 days. I gave her a feeding yesterday. I think for a time when I thought she had nutrient burn, she was actually lacking a lot of potassium Probably caused her worse issues by holding back the food. It would be really nice if that deficiency and nutrient burn didn’t look so much alike lol. As she’s already been overly hungry, I’m not stopping any feeding. I don’t see her being done in a week or anything. She still has lots of white pistils, buds still fattening , and steady drinking. Oh and… the fucking humidity keeps coming back. I’ve been able to mostly keep it 60 or under. Obviously I don’t even want it that high, but it’s the best that can be done. The humidity outside is low today..at 77% 😒. Yeah, that’s actually low, as it’s been between 85-92% outside the past days. It’s also cold so that’s even worse. I’ve had to leave the tent open with fans blowing crazy. Trying hard to keep rot from happening. Guess that’s all for now. Thanks for lookin, cross your fingers for me & have a good weekend ✌️

11/22/24. Starting week 8 flower. Not much going on this week. Her buds seem to keep growing and I don’t think she’ll be ready within the next week, so silk continue feeding this week. I’ll be just watching and waiting to see when she says it’s time. She’s still drinking the same as usual. Humidity has fucked off for now.. and hopefully for good. Don’t want this baby getting the rot. I dimmed the light to about 60%. Hey trichomes are just starting to get milky That’s it for now. Thanks for lookin & have a good weekend ✌️

If I see a bit of amber then it’ll be her time.. if not I’ll let her keep going. She had no food with her watering and she won’t have anymore if she needs more water. It’s now just a waiting game pretty much Update 12/03/24. She’s been chopped

This beautiful baby hung for 12 days in a slightly unzipped tent at 68/60 with a fan pointed at the wall for air movement. Honestly didn’t plan to love this. This wasn’t my pick to grow. I was like apple fritter.. really.. Well I can say I fucked up lol. These buds are ridiculous. Plentiful, smell great, look great, taste great. They’re just great okay. Taste testers absolutely love it. They said it’s actually one of the best tasting smokes they’ve had in a long time. Smooth sweet and gassy. For all, the high was great as well and lasted about 3 hours. So guys and gals, has it knocked permanent marker out of #1? (If you haven’t read my comments previously, I’m trying to kick marker from first place) Sadly, it has not, at least not within my house. Some of the testers though did prefer the apple fritter taste wise. Anyhow, quite more than pleased with AF and definitely will be growing it again. And this grow was NOT sponsored, so no worries that Im just talking it up.. like some people do 😄. Even if it was .. I keep shit 100 regardless
