When you pull the brown part really gently and it will all let lose from the branch really easy then it is bud rot. If that part does not come of very easy even when you pull a little harder then it is not bud rot. And otherwise you need to make a better picture or just simply google bud rot for an picture example. Always make sure that the humidity is not too high for too long, that the air inside the growing space is moving and refreshing. nd that the airflow can blow freely through the plant then you should not get budrot.
