DAY 29 - 9/14/24 - Bothered the plants very little throughout the day, just raised the light, did no additional training, just let the plants grow.

DAY 30 - 9/15/24 - Going to defoliate today, 3/10 fan leaves, might start with less. We will see how many there are and how much damage I want to do. I want to keep stress low. Would rather do this over a week or so than all at once.
Heavy LST and light defoliation happened today. I patched up and limb breaks with more transpire tape. The plants love it. I think topping with the tape and closing with a clamp is the pro move. May have to pick some training clips and clamps before my next cycle. I know have 3 breaks in total. They are all healing nicely, no 100% breaks. I’d say 90% at the worst. I have 2 breaks on back left, and 1 break on ___. Will update on health tm.
I jazzed up the res last night with a half gallon of correctly PH’d water. The res was looking gross and soupy, so I ran the pump for a bit, turned this last veg feed into sort of a half flush feed. Plan on mixing up Flower 1 nutes tm. I need to do some research and refresh my mind on the right amounts of nutes and amendments to use for the start of the flower cycle.

DAY 31 - 9/16/24 - Plants good, res nearly depleted. Took me forever to get the new nutes into the bottle. Finally settled on shoving the B nutes into a funnel, pouring water, already measured from bottle into cup, then pouring water thru funnel. Took a few tries before I got to this solution. I dk how much of the nutes I lost out on. I don’t think it was too much, but I dont want to think about it too much. Might not switch nutes today, might give a flush with kelp silica, cal/mag, runclean, and PH’d water? I have no idea what the mix is in the individual autopot reservoirs. And the Speedrun Seeds people said that the nutes should really last about 20 days. If I am only getting 16 gals of nute feed from these bags, and the plants are drinking way more than 16 gals in 20 days, I need to slow it down with regular water, I believe. Attempting to slow down the feed today. I see some burning on the leaves, maybe my harty nute feed is the reason why,
FEED: Added 1 gallon of water, 0.4 Runclean, Cal/Mag 5ml, Silica 4ml, Kelp 5ml, no flower nutes, PH’d to 5.8.
FEED: Prepared, but not added to res, placed in grow room, covered, waiting for tomorrow or tn to be added to the res: 4 gals of water, Runclean 1.5ml, Cal/Mag 20ml, Silica 16ml, Kelp 20ml, Flower 1A 180ml, Flower 1B 180ml,!! NOT YET PH’D !!You will notice a reduced amount of Speedrun nutes in this feed batch. I am working it up to full flower and trying to push the nutes to stretch a little further. The bags say to feed at 60 ml for each gallon of feed water, but that is not right. The plants drink much more than that in late flower. I have no idea how these nutes will finish with the flowers, if I will have to fill the backend with a different brand or not. I don’t believe the error is on my end, I have been following the printed directions. I will reach out to support and see what they have to say.
Added new nutrient feed to res at night before lights out. Set light to turn on at 100% tomorrow. Flower officially starting now!

DAY 32 - 9/17/24 - Flower Day 1. Light at 100%, 18 inches from plants. Woke up this morning to a really ugly break. I actually noticed the break when I was top watering the old nutes on day 31. It looked taped enough, but I had it training. The damp mixed with the training pulled the branch past its limit. When I woke up today, I double wired it, covered in transpire tape, and prayed for the best.
I PH’d the feed tank to 5.7.
I reached out people about the SRS nutes running out, havent heard back anything yet. Considering finishing with Crop Salt if I have no other solution. No way I am winging it with a bunch of random non tested nutes off the shelf.

DAY 33 - 9/18/24 - Checked the broken branch last night. Did not look good. I pruned the branch this AM on the advice of some grower on Twitter. I would rather have the plant focus on growing new growth and strengthening the current bud sites than trying to fix a broken branch. It would have recovered to some extent. Whether that would have been worth it, I am not sure. I do not want to take the chance on this grow. Maybe in the future.
Res is almost empty. The nute issue is now officially a dilemma. I need to figure this out ASAP. Feed planned for later today.

DAY 34 - 9/19/24 - Glad I pruned the branch. Noticing a lot fo new growth over in that area of the pot. I did some minimal training, lots of tucking, and I removed a few fan leaves for better light penetration. I am very happy with the direction these plants are going. Still worried about the nutrient issue. May have to call SRS today because they haven’t returned any of my emails or socials. Plants drank a lot last night. PH had drifted up to 6.4, but that is fine. I got a coco soil PH meter yesterday, my initial reading was a little low (5.6) so I am hoping that the slight PH up drift will help correct that. I balanced the res down to 5.8. I will test the coco soil again either tonight or tomorrow. I think I may have to raise my temps a smidge higher is I want to lower the humidity down to the proper levels. I opened the top left vent and brought down my in line fan levels. Will report how this affects things. My temps are significantly lower than last year. This is due to the bigger in line fan, moving the water res and dehumidifier out of the tent, and because I started this grow about 2-3 months later than last year.
In pursuit of lowering the humidity, I moved the dehumidifier closer to the A6 intake fan. I also adjusted the clip fans to be pointed at the canopy, both oscillating, a little above the canopy, pointed down. No fans are pointed at the power brick currently. This is at about 3:30 PM. I also closed the top right flap again. I plan on using the fans to adjust my levels in a stable environment, I think that makes the most sense.

DAY 35 - 9/20/24 - For the past few days I’ve been undoing the training on the lowest branches. I realize now that I should have continued Veg 2, or an equivalent there of thru 40 days, or until I have “pinky nail sized nugs based on what Grant from Cropsalt told me. Regardless, I’ve chosen to run Cropsalt as it is similar to jacks, but easier to dose. I plan on using the concentrate form. I’ve been told the veg a/b, bloom a/b, and cake all make 125 gallons of feed. (375 total). For now I plan on buying the 1 pound bags, I also plan on running the SRS nutes around day 55-65 depending on how the plants are doing.
FEED: Added to res 4 Gal water, Silica 12ml, Kelp (dropped down to) 16ml, Cal/Mag 20ml, RC 1.5ml, Flower 1A 240ml, Flower 1B 240ml
