DAY 36 - 9/21/24 - Plants continue cooking. Ordering my Cropsalt today. Tucking, and bending, but not additional wire training. Trying to get plants around the same height. Will continue slowly undoing the rest of the cable training as this flower stretch progresses.

DAY 37 - 9/22/24 - I turned the front left plant to get better light on the lower parts. Most of my plants are at about the same height or getting there. More tucking, limited leaf removal, some wire training removal. Total wire removal is the goal in the next few days. I am worried, the stretch differences will be huge and I am afraid keeping the wires on for too long will snap branches or limit reach.
I messed with fan placement, trying to find a better situation, unable to do that, I moved the fan back to how it was. I also raised the small rotating fans to match the growing canopy. Rising the light too. I don’t need to keep mentioning that, do I? Trust that I am always either raising the light or rebalancing the light to be 18 inches from about the top of the canopy.
I also moved the dehumidifier closer to the grow room. No change in temp noticed.
I watched a great interview with Autopotamus today: (https://youtu.be/sJg3wzyiUls?si=usTc7IquEKeh5g5K) I learned that he does not scrog, he does not train, and he grows in 100% coco, and runs 24 hour light. No rest. I think a lot of his success is due to his knowledge about what the plants want, his location being close to the place where Autoflowers originated, the autopot system, and great genetics.

DAY 38 - 9/22/24 - The plants are all closer in height today. Not uniform, but close. MORE
I moved the dehumidifier into the grow room, vent facing tent, air pumping outward. I am also playing with inline fan levels. Trying to draw as little power as I can. I may ended to replace to bigger, more expensive tower fan, the 40 inch. It does not rotate well anymore. Very sad. May replace with an adjustable height large circular fan, may require a trip down to the local grow shop (Eco garden Supply).

DAY 39 - 9/23/24 - Noticed a decently bad break last night. Would have lost the branch if I did not fix. I cov ered with transpire tape, the best I ever have. Nice planned dedicated, small pices. I also clipped the branch to a higher branch to split the weight. I have noticed great response and healing this AM. This is my last break that needs to heal. It healed a bit, I trained it back into pain accidentally, and now it seems that I have fixed the break, or at least set it up to heal completely.
All the training wire ties are off. I took them off last night. Glad I did or I would not have caught the failing branch.
The plants drank nearly 4 gals of feed yesterday. I am at about 1 gal per plant per day. Just before Day 40. Switching to my spare Cropsalt nutes from my first run. I still have about ⅓-½ bags of Bloom left. That should cover me until my new Cropsalt nutes arrive. I plan on running the last bag of Speedrun nutes at around day 60 or 65. They should last less than 10 days. Less than 8 days at that time, possibly.
I am adding a new batch oif the same feed value from yesterday. I will need to prepare a new feed either today or early tomorrow. As the plants will surely drink thru this. Maybe I run a flush?
I like that the humidity is coming down, but I do not like the multiple degree raise in temp. I am also worried that the dehumidifier is stealing water from my res. I am moving the dehumidifier to just outside the grow room.

DAY 40 - 9/24/24 - I started the day early in the plants’ morning by adding some of my old Cropsalt Bloom to the feed tank and raising the light by 4 clicks. While feeding, it looked like there were a few grains of salt that I did not dissolve correctly. Most of the mix was really good, but I saw a small amount of some residue on the bottom of my 5 gallon bucket.
I’ve been letting the plants reach and recover over the last few days. I plan on doing some more tucking and defoliating today. I have not done it yet (3 PM) because my numbers are solid and my levels are where I want them (T sub 75, H sub 58). I don’t want to disturb anything as that will throw off the environment and I feel like it can take 12+ hours for the environment to stabilize again.
I did some major defoliation today. It reduced my humidity and increased airflow, plants love it. Was careful in how much I removed. It wa as lot, but not the majority. I am trying to stick to 3/10. While defoliating, I noticed that a few leaves had orange spots, a bigger portion, but not too many were yellow or sickly or illformed. I removed most of the weak leaves I could find. I also removed a large portion of beautiful deep green leaves. Much more healthy than sickly and I removed almost all the sickly ones.

DAY 41 - 9/25/24 - I Moved the pots around a bit to make sure the plants are getting good light. Took a few leaves, tucked others, spread branches. I can already tell that this crop will be much larger than last years. At least that is what my gut is telling me just by looking at these things stretch and swell. I ensured the sensor was in a good position, and PH’d the res down to 5.7. My temps and humidity are pretty much where I want them. I am now determining how much water the plants are feeding, and how much is enough for a few days, let’s say 4 as an example. Would I be able to run the system without intervening in 4 days? Wouldn’t I need to adjust the light? I suppose it matters where the plant is at in its life cycle for those 4 days. A period of 4 days can look very different when the plan is stretching vs when the plant is flowering.
The plants seem to be adjusting to the Cropsalt fine. The tips have a bit of nute burn, but I believe this is fine. Fine enough at least.

DAY 42 - 9/26/24 - I added a flush feed to the res. There was some stains in the walls of the res and so I splashed and mixed the water, hoping to reincorporate whatever it was. High humidity at plant's night because the probe was touching leaves.
