Hi fellow gardeners, How are you doing? I hope you all having a successful grow season both indoors and outdoors. Finally, I can return to the best hobby ever, which I really missed since our last harvest in January. As I am slowly running out of stock so decided to start a new round.🌞 This time I’ll continue to explore the world of Barney’s as they never let me down with their genetics. I choose Gorilla Zkittlez for her fruity flavour and potency. The germination process wasn’t as smooth as expected from this breeder. From the 6 seeds one not even popped so planted the rest into the light mix soil which I sprinkled with mycorrhizae. After they emerged one is showing some mutation and one is still struggling in development. Therefore i have to germinate another two seeds to get the desired 4 plants at the end. I sprayed the soil when it dried out with PH 6.2 water. Temps: 23-25 degrees Humidity:60-65% The seeds came from 2 batches which I know from the breeders production date and labels. I will also mark the plants so that I can tell the difference of the phenotypes. This time i will try the hybrid fertiliser line from the Green House Feeding. In the first two weeks they will stay in a 60x60 tent with a Spider Farmer sf1000 and then will place them to a bigger 120x120 tent with the Ts3000. In between I calibrated the PH meter, checked and cleaned the fans, controlled all the equipments will be used and prepared my entire mind for this journey. Wish everyone a lovely weekend and see you next week!🌱😎

Hi Growmies, So let me introduce you this 4 little gorilla gals who survived the first week of their life in the wild. As I mentioned last week, we needed 4 healthy individual to populate the future forest and it’s succeeded. The one who struggled is also starting to catch up to her sisters.🌱 They got a bit lanky as I was way too careful with the light. One needed help because she fell on the pot. So slowly raised the light intensity first to 220 ppfd and at the end of the week we finished at 350. They seem to like it so will leave it for a few days. The sf1000 is running on 55% at the moment.🌞 Watered twice this week. First with 150ml each and 3 days later with 220ml. No macronutrients have been given to them yet.💦 I’m happy how they look 14 days after the start of germination. See you next week!🙌

Hi Growmies, This week, these girls started to develop and became very thirsty. They doubled their size for width and drunk twice as much as the week before.🌱 On day 18 I moved them to the bigger tent as we will need the 60*60 for our single DWC run. They seem like a bigger airflow and more controlled environment. A bigger tent requires more lights, so the TSW2000 was hung. PAR: 420 at the beginning of the week and we ended with 550PPM.🌞 They got their first irrigation with GHS feeding on day 15 and on day 19 just with de-chlorinated tap water on PH 6.3.💦 See you next week! Peace

Hi there, So we have reached the third week of the jungle tour. As usual, the real work has just begun. We’ve built the final place for the little gorillas, which will be a 25-liter textiel pot this time. We won’t use mycorrhiza as mineral nutrients can’t really benefit from it. Day22 Watered with 1 liter of de-chlorinated tap water on PH 6.5. Day24 Moved the gals to their final residence. Day25 Topped them and took 4 big fan leaves each but no big defoliation has been done yet. Day26 Started with LST. Day27 Watered 2 litres each with the above mentioned nutrients. PAR: 520-600PPFD. We will keep 600 until the end of veg. They seem happy with it. From the structure of the leaves, I think that we are dealing with a strong indica in terms of growth. Hoping for a strong secondary branch development as our aim is to fill the 120*120 tent completely with 4 plants. One little girl is lagging behind the others, but since we are not in a hurry, she will have time to catch up. On the other hand I noticed something really unusual at this age while I was topping. One of the girls showed really early maturity in the third week already. Some pistils and pre flowering signs were detected. Come on little gorillas, let the jungle population begin.🌱🌞 See you soon!

Hi there, As we approach the fourth week of veg, our expectations for the jungle tour continues to grow. This phase of the grow season is very exciting because at this time it’s decided how well we can lay the foundation for the subsequent successful flowering period. Our goal was to stop apical growth and teach the gals to focus on growing lateral branches. At first glance, I think we will be fine in this regard, but the following weeks will give us the answer. So we used tying wires and tent hooks to keep the branches down and open the canopy for better light penetration for the lower part of the plants. 🌞 A good defoliation has been done as well. Watered only once this week with 3 litres of PH-ed, de-chlorinated water and some Silica.💦 600 PPFD was a bit too much for them as I saw signs of light stress so we dimmed back the lamp to 520-540.🌞 Wish everyone a lovely weekend and see you next week!💨👊

Hi fellow gardeners, The hard training of the past weeks has brought a fantastic change to the life of the jungle. From here it is up to the little gorillas to populate it. It seems that they were made to understand that it would be better to strengthen the side branches in order to hold the weight later. I am very happy with the progress of the week. This variety suits just perfectly with the way I like to training the plants so have a huge expectation for flowering. Our plan is to wait another week before the number of daylights will be reduced.🌱 I trained the hell out of this girls with continuous tying the branches and opening the canopy in the middle. Every second day a big defo has been done as well to allow enough light to the center of the plants. As you can see on the photos we left the bigger leaves on around the edges to support photosynthesis. There isn’t a single lower branch which was not catch up with the tops. Gonna have an easy job whith lollipopping.😀 Watered only 1 time this week with 3 litres each. Also hung the Ts3000 which is running on 75% now 48cm above the canopy.💦🌞 Vpd:0.81-1.05 kpa Par: 520-580 ppfd Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend with lot of tasty bud to smoke. 💨👊

Hi there, Whats up fellow gardeners? Hope everybody is in safe and having a great week. So let’s see what is just happend recently in the jungle.🦍 This week we tried to get ready for the upcoming bloom party and dress the girls pretty. We let them rest to give time to gather as much energy as possible, but we worked them hard as well at the end of the week. On the very first day of the week, we freed them from the bondage of the ropes and let the regeneration of the previous 2 weeks full of hard stress begin. Also watered them with de-chlorinated tap water and Silica on PH 6.2, 3 litres each. They obviously loved this and started to shine. Really love this time of the grow season when a lot of work must be done.🌞👨🏻‍🌾 So they were just sun bathing and chilling for the coming 3 days when we arrived on the 47th day from seed for the last big training session. A huge defoliation has been made and also removed every unwanted growth from the bottom of the plant. Since almost all lower branches have grown to the level of the top, we had a pretty easy job in this regard. Watered with the aforementioned nutrients 3 litres each.💦 The last two days was about regeneration so they are just ready for flowering. I enjoyed every moment of the vegetative stage with a ladles, was mostly without any issues. No broken stems and crazy deficiencies. On one gorilla girl I can see small sings of light stress and maybe a light magnesium deficiency but will work on it. Vpd: 0,89-1,04 kpa Par: 505-580ppfd Wish everyone a bountiful harvest and happy growing!🌱💨

As autumn approached, the number of daylight hours in the jungle slowly began to decrease. First to 16, two days later to 14 and at the end of the week 12. We let the girls rest and didn't have much to do apart from getting an even canopy under the screen.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 One plant showed some magnesium deficiency so gave her an Epsom salt cure. The nutrient manufacturer said that the product contains enough magnesium but apparently one of the girls didn’t find it sufficient. On day 3 watered them with de-chlorinated tap water and Silica, 3 litres. Day7 the first irrigation with Hybrid nutrients has been given, 5 litres each. I’m curious how this line will perform during flowering.💦 Running the Ts3000 on 75% , which means 520-620 PPFD. Vpd: 0,88-1,10 kpa. See you soon and thanks for stopping by.💨🌞

Hi there, So basically we didn’t have to do much this week except to continue to fill the screen more evenly. The pre flowering stretch is definitely on the right track as they grew 14 cm. Towards the end of the week, the first signs of flowering appeared. 🌱🌞 Watered them once with 5 litres of de chlorinated tap water and Silica. 💦 It seems that the Epsom salt cure worked because the magnesium deficiency didn’t spread further. Hi there, So this seek not much has changed compared to last as far as tasks in the garden are concerned. Obviously we didn’t want to disturb the stretching with unnecessary stress so we let things continue in their natural course. Our plan was to make the last defo at day 21 but we had to postpone it until next week as they weren’t ready with the stretch. It’s just lovely to see how this baby gorillas grew up and populated the jungle.🦍🌱 Watered on day 15, 5 litres each with nutrients and on day 20 with only de chlorinated tap water and Silica. The units of measurement of the above-mentioned nutrients are gram not millilitre. We installed a second layer of net which will help us during flowering. A dehumidifier was also placed to the room as humidity is still a problem in our region so VPD wasn’t as good as we like. Raised the light intensity also, the Ts3000 is running on 75% at 55 cm above the canopy. Tried to install an extra lamp, but the coverage didn’t improve at the edges of the tent, so end of the week we removed it. Par: 510-710 Ppfd Vpd: 0,78-0,85kpa See you next week!🌞

Hallo fellow gardeners, We’re now in the 4th week of flowering in our jungle tour, and things are getting intense! This week the girls experienced stressful days as we performed a deep, mass defoliation to help them carry out their flowering perfectly. Except for one lady, it seemed to take a toll on them, so the focus was on regeneration in the rest of the week. We’re expecting to see vigorous bud development in the coming weeks as a result of this defoliation.👨🏻‍🌾🌱 The first layer of trichomes appeared and pleasant aromas began to permeate the tent. It’s sweet and fruity. Last week we messed up a bit with the extra light source, because the two girls at the back got less light and stretched out more. Not bead though but noticeable. In general the plants revealed a strong stretching instinct, indicating the activation of the sativa genes. Almost doubled in size during pre flowering. Didn’t change our watering habits, so watered twice this week as well. Both times with 5 liters. Once with nutrients and once with de-chlorinated tap water on ph 6.4.💦 I really hope that the girls will pull themselves together by next week, because they seem quite tormented after the shock. Still struggling with a slightly high humidity in the tent so we need to improve this before the buds starting to develop and fatten. Par: 580-710Ppfd Vpd.:0,75-0,92kpa. Sending you good vibes for the weekend! Do what makes you smile and happy.🌞💨

Hi there, What’s up fellow gardeners? Here we go with the weekly jungle update. This is flowering week 5. After a long and stressful period we arrived at the stage where the ladies don't have to focus on anything else but what they love most, blooming. As I mentioned last week our goal was to optimize the humidity in the tent for better resin production. The first attempt was an extra inline fan with which I tried to get more fresh and dry air into the tent but it didn’t work out really well. The final solution was an old exhaust fan we found in the garage. It’s much louder but also more effective so we finally found the perfect solution. After a few days, the girls were grateful for all this and started producing resin amazingly. Even the bigger sugar leaves are coated with a thick layer of trichomes all the way down to the lower sites. 👨🏻‍🌾😎 However, the development of the buds is more slowly than usual, but maybe this is just the nature of the breed, or I'm simply impatient. Watered twice this week, once with nutrients and at the end of the week a good flush with 6 litres each of de-chlorinated tap water and Flash Clean. This to make sure there is no unnecessary salt buildup in the soil.💦🌱 The aroma this week is sweet and fruity with hint of chocolate. VPD:1,31-1,49 kpa PAR: 670-890 PPFD The Ts3000 is running on 80-85%. See you soon and Happy growing! 🦍🌞

Hi growmies, Here we go with the sixth week of flowering. The previous week's efforts to optimize the grow environment seem to be paying off. The girls apparently started to get in shape and we had nothing else to do but enjoy them. It is also worth mentioning the scent that surrounds them, sweet and fruity, mostly reminiscent of Haribo gummy bears. Resin just seemed to start pouring out of the buds, it's something quite incredible. 🌞🌱 This breed carries the characteristics of both parents, frosty like the GG and smells heavenly like zkittlez. The 2 plants located at the front of the tent have for some reason lagged behind in their development. It's possible that a little light filtered in at the zip lock, which could have caused them stress, but so far I haven't find any signs of reveg or nanners. I am not sure what has happened but need a new tent for the next grow which seems to be taking shape in my head already. We fed the gorilla gals once this week with 5 litres each. Running the Ts3000 in full blast on 42 cm above the canopy.💦🦍 PAR: 680-1050 PPFD Vpd: 1,39-1,51 kpa Wish everyone a wonderful weekend!💨😎

Week 7 since we switched the light to 12/12, What’s up fellow gardeners? So this week, things got a little faster because 2 gorilla ladies started to mature earlier than their other two companions, so they had to be given a little different treatment. They needed a little manicure so that the lower flowers could also ripen. Did a moderately severe defoliation on this 2 plants. The other two are just getting fatter and gaining more weight lovely at the moment. The flowers are beautifully full, the VPD is excellent and the resin is constantly flowing seriously. The ladies are still hungry and drinking 5 litres of water every 3 days. The two gals who are ahead got their first ripening cure with Final Part, the other two were fed as usual. The scent is starting to become a little more complex, with a basket of ripe fruit added to the sweetness. I really hope this will stay until the end of the grow and after a good dry and cure process we can get it back in the final smoke.💨🍭 Crisping has started on one pheno on the biggest fan leaves, but I think it’s genetic related so I don’t attach much importance to it.🍁 It really seems like the more advanced of the two should be harvested first, which I think will happen within 2 weeks at most. The other two a week or 1,5 later but it will definitely happen before Christmas time. Vpd.:1,21-1,45kpa Par: 690-1090 ppfd I'll see you soon fello gardeners. Happy farming family!👨🏻‍🌾🌱

Flowering week 8 We have reached the week where we put the finishing touches on the jungle. At this stage of the ripening process, we got rid of the larger fan leaves on the last two gorillas so that the lower branches also get the amount of light they need to ripen. Apart from that, we have been checking the trichomes on a daily basis and are waiting for the right time to harvest. Beautiful colors have greeted the jungle, which also suggests that we can soon start preparing for the chop. As for the two more mature girls, it's just a matter of days. There trichomes are fully milky with a few clear hier and there. The buds are swelling up, i see a few pistils tips starting to turn pink and the rest are all brown. Buds are rock hard and sticky. Not much has changed in terms of scents compared to the previous week. A ripen fruit basket with a hint of lavender. Thanks to a lower temperature at night we can see some purple hoes especially on one pheno and two others are showing also some signs of multi- colouration. 🍁 Dimmed back the light to 80% which means 700-850 ppfd at the top of the canopy. Watered twice this week with 5 litres each. The two matured one with Flash Clean first and for the second time with de-chlorinated tap water on PH 6.4. The two bigger ones with Final Part. See you soon!💨🌱

Hi there, This week we were able to observe the last weeks of the gorillas' lives from a comfortable position. The only thing we had to watch was the development of the trichomes. Despite all our efforts to keep the humidity low unfortunately there was a rot on one bud on the most matured lady so we harvested her. Luckily we caught on time. Trichomes were fully milky. The other three will take like one more week to be ready. Buds are rock hard except for one which is more spongy yet solid with a sweet candy aroma. The rest has a ripen fruit basket smell with a hint of pine. We continued watering with de-chlorinated tap water on PH 6.5. The tent is adorned with beautiful autumn colours and the girls are less thirsty, which suggests that harvest time will come next week. One pheno turned out deep purple, almost black which I had never before and she has a candied fruit smell with a spicy undertone. Dimmed the light back to 70% and raised the airflow with an extra fan to avoid any further problems during this ripening period. See you soon and happy growing!🌱👨🏻‍🌾
