Finally got these plants into the flower tent about two weeks later than expected. Overall they look like they are going to be monsters. I trimmed them up a bit and removed a lot of center growth. I’ve also swapped out my cheapo LED for a new HLG 550 V2 so I’m hoping to see some retun in yeild. It’s looking like the DWC plants are reallying going to produce.

looking forward to seeing the production difference between the hydro and coco. I am currently growing in coco but finding it a bit wasteful of nutrients and water. how often do you change the water in your buckets for dwc and also how much water does it take for each bucket?

@indoorontario, just going through this grow i think I’m switching to dwc going forward. The vegative growth was incredible. I change my water comepletly about every 10 days or any time I move to a different nutrient ratio. These are 5 gal buckets so they take about 4 gallons at the start. As the roots ball grows that shrinks a bit right now they each take about 2.5 gal. Each plant drinks about a gallon a day. I’ll try and get a picture of the roots tomorrow. Overall it’s just a lot cleaner for me I never found a great way to deal with runoff.
