Introduction - Week 07 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 9838.99, Another great grow week! Been tending to the flower tent and have been trying to keep up with watering! This grow cycle is the most I’ve ever had to water by far. In the veg tent, took the soaked clone cuttings and have already begun the rooting process in Coco Coins. Also topped the plants and have been watering as needed. Will hopefully be transplanting the rooted cuttings next week. Also upgraded my home’s drinking water and am gradually switching from store bought distilled water to reverse osmosis filtered water. This will eventually progress into watering automation. Perfect timing as well because these ladies are thirsty! Anyways, onwards to next week! Have a pretty huge update! --- Been working on upgrading my home’s drinking water source. - [22:40]: Recently installed an APEC Reverse Osmosis Water System (ROES-100). --- Currently have a 4-gallon storage tank, but can always add more later. --- Now the entire family can drink fresh clean water and we no longer need to buy distilled water from the market. --- Up until now, we’ve been depending on bottled distilled water purchased from the store. --- As for the garden, - [22:42]: Routed an RO line straight from the source (in the kitchen) to the garden’s lung room. --- Now the garden has a steady pressurized supply line of clean RO water. Pretty epic! --- Going to be gradually switching all plant waterings from store bought distilled water to homemade reverse osmosis (RO) water. --- Still going to be using distilled water for the humidifiers for now, but will eventually switch to RO water. --- Also this opens up the opportunity for watering automation. Getting hyped! --- Anyways, - [22:44]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Refilled the humidifiers with distilled water as needed. Day 07 - Sunday - 11/03/24 - Total Days: 049 ----------------------------------- Daily Averages [~+01:00] - Temps: 78.1 °F [25.6°C] - Humidity: 69.0% - VPD: 1.01 kPa - Soil %: [36, 37, 35, 29, 45, 36, 35, 51] ----------------------------------- - [19:55]: Night check on the 4x4 flower tent. --- Looking great my girls! --- The original #2 is looking better, but still looking damaged. --- Both #1 and #4 and just swelling up with bud growth! --- #4 is still the largest and healthiest of all the phenos! Beautiful! - [20:05]: Checked the Ecowitt soil moisture sensor data: ------ 30% - [CH01 FP5 - Garlic Budder #1] ------ 29% - [CH02 FP5 - Original Garlic Budder #2] ------ 35% - [CH03 GR7 - Garlic Budder #3] ------ 25% - [CH04 FP5 - Garlic Budder #4] ------ 38% - [CH05 GR7 - Original Garlic Budder #2] ------ 31% - [CH06 GR7 - Original Garlic Budder #1] ------ 32% - [CH07 GR7 - Garlic Budder #2] ------ 46% - [CH08 GR5 - Original Garlic Budder #1] - [20:24]: Filled a pump sprayer with 6 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #1’s straw mulch. --- Focused mainly on the straw. - [20:42]: Filled the pump sprayer with 5 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto the original #2’s straw mulch. - [20:52]: Filled the pump sprayer with 7 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto #4’s straw mulch. --- Oops! Forgot to take the general height measurements! - [21:10]: Took the weekly height and light distance measurements. ------ #1, #2, and #4 were about 41" tall. ------ All phenos were about 15" away from the grow light. --- Since this is a scrog grow, these measurements are a general average for all plants. There are bud tops that are both higher and lower. --- Anyways, - [21:17]: Checked on the vegging 3x3 tent, --- Growing along quite nicely my ladies! --- Veg growth is looking incredible! --- Wow the #4 clone is looking really healthy and green! --- Top canopy growth is also looking good and even. - [21:25]: Filled a pump sprayer with 3 cups of RO water. ------ Added 1/64tsp of Quillaja Saponaria Extract [60] --- Gave the sprayer a good shake before spraying the entire solution onto an original #1’s straw mulch. - [21:43]: Repeated this process again for the #2 pheno. --- Focused mainly on the straw. - [21:46]: Checked the propagation dome, --- Growth is looking green and perky! --- Misted the top growth with a bit of distilled water. --- Also opened one of the side vents. - [21:49]: Checked the humidifiers. --- Refilled the humidifiers with distilled water as needed. --- Wow what a grow week! --- If all grows well, next week plan to transplant the rooted clones into solo cups. --- Steady as she grows Ensign. @smoking_hills9, Thanks growmie! Second time growing these phenos and my first clone grow. Yea, I reference these logs as I grow so they have to be detailed. This is also why my logs are about 2 weeks delayed. Sort of a full-time hobby!
