Introduction - Week 11 Summary - Ensign's log, stardate 9915.49, HARVEST TIME! Wow what a week! Harvested the entire tent at the beginning of the week and have started the drying process. Mainly been tending to the veg tent and planning out the next grow cycle. Aside from quick daily checkups, not much else to do until trim day. As far the next grow, already am planning to start new genetics next week and take clone cuttings! Anyways, onwards to next week! Beautiful! --- Going to attempt to cut and flip each plant, not sure how t --- Before the harvest, adjusted the tent environment for drying. - [11:26]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Switched the 'Flower [12/12]' Schedule to 'Drying [0/24]’ --- For the Grow Light (Mars Hydro FC-6500): ------ The Mode is temporarily set to ‘Continuous On Mode’ ------ The Max value is set to 1 --- For the Exhaust Fan (AC Infinity CloudLine T6): ------ The Mode to ‘Continuous Auto’ ------ The MIN/MAX values are set to 0/8 ------ The Humidity HIGH trigger’s value is set to 70% ------ The Humidity Transition value is set to 3% --- For the Humidifier (AC Infinity CloudForge T7): ------ The Mode is set to ‘Continuous Auto’ ------ The Humidity HIGH/LOW values are set to OFF/58% ------ The MIN/MAX values are set to 0/8 ------ The Temperature Transition value is set to 3% --- Wow these buds look incredible! --- Frosty with an earthy terp stank! --- Some of the sugar leaves are completely resin-railed out and white with frost! --- Okay! Time to start! - [11:53]: Going to first defoliate a bit. --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, --- Removed as many of the damaged leaves as possible. --- Also removed some of the larger leaves. --- Mainly defoliated #4, couldn’t really reach the ones in the back. --- Anyways, - [13:21]: Time to cut the scrog strings! --- Using a pair of scissors, cut the strings of the scrog and removed all the support strings. --- Also removed the #4 soil sensor and garden wire. Will place the sensor back in later (for the worms). - [13:31]: Time to HARVEST! --- Since #4 was so huge, ended up separating her into multiple branches. --- Then using a basic hacksaw, --- Cut the base of #1 and the original #2 phenos and hung them upside down. --- Going to do both a wet and dry trim. --- Using a pair of clean trimmers, defoliated the larger fan leaves and mulched the trimmings. --- Oh! Found a use for the nylon trellis netting from AC Infinity! Have the 4x4 trellis netting positioned just under the grow light and it makes a decent net to hang from. - [15:41]: Done! --- The #4 pheno was attached to the trellis netting using garden ties. --- Once the plants are fully dried, will do a final dry trim before curing in glass mason jars. --- Due to weight concerns, both #1 and the original #2 phenos were attached straight to the light with garden wires. --- Unfortunately, --- Couldn’t really get a wet weigh this harvest. Not really a big deal, but would have been nice. Regardless, I can already say that this is both my shortest grow cycle along with my largest harvest yet! --- Absolutely stoked for the final processed dry weight! --- Anyways, --- As usual, going to leave the soil in the tent during the drying process. --- Will also leave the auto watering system on. --- These plants will hang stationary with oscillating fans blowing away from the plants. The bottom fan is on low (2 out of 10) and pointed towards the floor. The top fan is stuck on a higher setting (button does not seem to be working), so have it pointed upwards towards the ceiling (may need to get a new on soon). The top fan will provide most of the air circulation in the tent. - [15:55]: Within the AC Infinity App, --- For the Main Tent [4x4] controller, --- Adjusted the 'Drying [0/24]' Schedule for the grow light. ------ Switched the Mode from ‘Continuous On’ to ‘Continuous Off’ --- Adjusted the 'Drying [0/24]' Schedule for the humidifier. ------ Increased the humidity HIGH/LOW values from OFF/58% to OFF/625 --- Done! --- Now for the 10-14 day slow dry. --- Let the drying begin! --- There is one main difference I decided to try for this dry cycle. --- Usually the exhaust fan is set to a constant low speed with a ramp up when the humidity gets too high. --- This time the exhaust fan is off until the humidity level are too high. - [16:16]: Checked on the vegging 3x3 tent, --- Growth is vegging along quite nicely! --- Have noticed that having smaller mother plants is easier to maintain and water.
