First signs of flower appear so I’ve started with the blooming nute schedule.
Well, kinda half way through the adventure and there are now observable differences between the girls below the led and those beneath the hps. The ones grown below the hps are all looking super healthy and big, bigger than the others, kind of stronger looking than the others too, growth is vigorous upwards and out. The ones beneath led although a little shorter than the hps grown, are much bushier, the distance between nodes is shorter than the others. They (the led grown) also seem to be maturing at a slightly advanced rate. All in all I’m very happy with the grow so far. The Orange Sherbert is starting to give off aromas, a very dank hashy smell to the stems. THe stems are very thick and strong looking so too the branching. I’m looking forward to the next few weeks watching how they develop. My environment also seems to be under control, probably for the first time in my grow life😳😥😂. Humidity steadily drifts between 38-50. However, I am expecting a slight change with the humidity as I’ve just stepped up the hps light to 750W, it should I hope take the humidity down a little possibly holding it between 35 and 40. Lights on temp around 27C, lights out temp usually between 16-20C. In the past I always relied on passive intake of air into my room, the source of air wasn’t suitable to provide for my grow and a lot of it was recycled from the tent😩😩😩. However, now air is fed from my garden with a little helpmeani g a good fresh supply of air constantly. I also installed a Tornado acoustic box fan at the beginning of the grow and that really is my saving grace, what a humidity and heat shifter it is😍😍 love dat box. So anyway it’s the best I’ve had it, it will always be improved upon but for now, I’m happy with my little green temple✌️🏻😬✌️🏻
Update - so definite difference between the thickness of stems between LED and HPS, across both strains such that the ones growing below LED have almost twice the girth of those below HPS.
Still looking healthy and seem to have taken to their new menu. My grow is definitely moving faster Than it has in the past or it seems that way but alas I am a smoker and can sometimes exaggerate or imagine scenarios were a certain way when the reality is far from that. Anyway I mention this as it’s one of the points made by Hydrotops in their claims of their products. They do say that the three root additives will help to mature plants at a faster rate and quicken the race through the flowering period. I’m sticking with them, I do believe they’re doing exactly as advertised. So for me a great product. But hey I am using AN stuff as well and with that I’m super happy too. Everything does just look so vibrant in there and the growth is so vigorous and observable, I’m so excited everyday as it comes to lights on so I can check on new development,
First hiccup but only small, a few leaves on the tallest plant were slightly burned I think by being too close to the light, it makes sense it’s for that reason because of their placement on the plant and it only being the tallest plant, all others seem fine.
@LongJohn420,just finished the trim today so about a week for drying and I’ll try a little then but I try to hold it back for a month of dry and cure before I’ll really have a try. But man let me tell you, one of the Orange Sherbert phenos has completely blown everything else in my tent away in this grow. The buds are so fat and sweet, it’s a very sticky one too. They truly are perfect they’re hard and heavy things too. It’s a really easy trim as well, I think the smoke from all will be very good but from 2 in particular plants I expect buds that are destined to take me to heights way beyond a lot of the stuff I’m able to buy😍😍🤤🤤🤤 good luck mate I think it’ll be worth it.✌️🏻😬✌️🏻 Oh and I flushed for 8 days.🙄
Going super gr🎱. Bet you cant wait to savour. 👅 Gonna be just like, mighty fine dining.
Nice job Mister. .... 👍🏼okay...okay... do all those nice compliments get me a slice of da 🍊 now?
😎✌️🏼
They look super nice, and vigorous at this stage of flowering my friend!
They might need a longer flowering time to mature properly because they are so many buds, from top to the bottom! You might want/need to harvest top buds first and leave the lower part finish. Good luck!
