It's always a major sacrifice to give up the Main Cola. The first week went only with Power Roots 1 Ml/l and Pure Zym 1ml/l from now on we start with ALga Grow. The plants were transplanted shortly after germination because the biodegradable pots were very small. The soil is Plagron Pro Mix 100% organic renewed with 30% new soil and 20% Perlite added. Here we are at day 27, remember that we planted two seedlings per strain, we are between the third and fourth week for the larger plants (which will be worked with topping x16 and more in the case of larger pots) and between the first and second for the smaller ones that will grow about 3 weeks and then go into flowering. I made this choice to give the friends of Zamnesia and the growers who use their fantastic seeds the chance to see the difference between a plant grown directly and one grown with the help of various techniques that will change from Autoflowering to Photoperiodic. Our Test #3 has undergone the first Topping, so now we have created our two small buds that we will multiply another 3 times until we get to x16. This is the topping size suitable for the 11 lt pots that I use (with larger pots x32 and above with higher yields but I choose the 11 lt pots to put a few more plants, the growers of illegal areas know what I'm saying, ok beautiful for beauty but sometimes you have to focus on the substance....) As for fertilizers I kept a little low for this reason, during the topping the plant slows down and by slowing down all that nitrogen from the table is not needed, but only while you are doing the topping not before, in fact on some I have some absolutely solvable deficiencies but you never stop learning as you can see. In winter I'll point out another thing the plant drinks much more slowly and maybe sometimes it dries out in three days, by doing so we are giving less fertilizer and creating possible spaces for deficiencies. Here we are at the halfway point, after the first month our photoperiodic plants are multiplying their florets and then going into flowering. Our Test #3 is at 4 florets and growing rapidly we are almost ready for the cut of 8. My plan for photoperiodic plants is to get to 16, wait a few days and go into flowering. 16 florets as I see it is the perfect size for the 11 liter pot. Topping is an extremely delicate moment as regards cutting the florets to split them, we always take care not to damage the new growing branches. Topping is also a delicate moment as regards fertilization because the plant slows down and absolutely does not need all that nitrogen that it would normally need and that the producers recommend in their sheets. So you should arrive with the plant green and in perfect shape at this moment and dose the fertilizer very well for growth. Mine came from a slightly deficient veg because I kept it low fearing this over effect during the topping that I know well and now I'm a bit over. Nothing to worry about, of course, but if you do repeated topping my advice is to use preferred soil or prepare the soil with Monster Bud Mix by Zamnesia or Plagron Super Mix, in short, enrich the soil and start and only add nitrogen if necessary, especially during repeated topping. We really like to test the great new products that Zamensia prepares for our growers, this time we have a great plant that we conventionally call Test #3, it is doing well both in the topping version and in the straight version that I will show you in a few days. We have just done the last topping that brings her 16 tops on almost all the plants after which we grow a few more days and off we go. During the topping the use of nitrogen is a very delicate subject. The topping cuts slow down the plant and the leaves tend to grow bigger going a bit in over, it happened to her then you cut off and it tends to discharge now we are at the moment that we are starting to give nitrogen again to then go into flowering. Our Zamnesia Test #3 has reached the small 16 branches that will one day be buds. I'm growing them a little more to make sure they don't go into flowering with small brunches but we're almost there, a few days and they will go into flowering. It's a plant with a low internodal distance, they are not the most suitable for topping due to the slow response of the mini brunches but just let them grow a little and not go into flowering immediately to still get an excellent result. As a general but very general rule, plants with a low internodal distance are less suitable for the application of techniques unlike plants with a wide internodal distance that are very easy to manage, they grow more slowly and can reach excellent sizes even if worked with techniques that keep them short. The topping worked very very well the plant at the time of topping went slightly into overfertilization due to the evident slowdown in growth, so I slowed down the fertilization for growth but without making it go into crisis we are starting to give fertilizer again. When topping is a delicate moment it is probably better to do what I explain below with this plant I managed to keep myself more balanced the others for a week were quite evident. The ideal when topping repeatedly is probably to start with a slow-release fertilized soil or even start preparing the soil for a period that is at least sufficient for the vegetative phase at most adding a little alga grow which alone I must admit gives me some problems at least in this case if the plant grows straight much less indeed nothing. Our Test #3 has already made me fall in love. It is one of those plants that is doing well I would already promote it but to avoid the risk of speaking too soon, let's see what grass it will give us. For each strain we have at least two plants there is also a specimen that is growing straight that you don't see in the photo for now for each strain of her I have two both excellent. The 16 buds are perfectly aligned and it is very regular in growth. The fertilizers for flowering have helped us to return in a very short time to a good balance now we go straight to making great buds. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. The plant has been flowering for 3 days, in the diary I leave it indicated as the last week of vegetative but we move on to the fertilizers for flowering. We have now moved on to the early flowering program that keeps the same additives Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is now Alga Bloom with which I get along very very well even more than Alga Grow that sometimes I have to understand well how to dose in some particular cases ( topping). Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it in the best way to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Test # 3 is doing very well for now, it has an average internodal distance and responds to topping very well. Its buds are quite well aligned and we expect a copious flowering. Another thing that gives the plant the signal of the start of flowering are the flowering stimulators we friends of Plagron use Power Buds. The buds are forming, growing day by day and our two #Test3 from Zamnesia Seeds are in great shape. Remember that we have 2 plants: one left to grow straight and in the third week of flowering and one worked with the topping x16 branches which is instead in the second week and for this reason has the buds still a little smaller. The plants are in great shape, they have good growth, the internodal distance is low. The plant left to grow without cuts has however undergone 1 fimming and a bit of LST and is really beautiful and is swelling adequately well and is very well proportioned. The plant with the topping is instead leaving the rmi grow very aligned and this is a very good sign for the grace and beauty of the final plant. We are in the early flowering fertilization program so we still have: - Power Roots 1ml/l - Sugar Royal 1 ml/l - Power Buds 1ml/l - Pure Zym 1ml/l - Alga Bloom 3 ml/l We are only slightly under the amount of basic fertilizer because I would like to try to avoid the phenomenon of yellowing of the tips which is very common and almost normalized nowadays but for me it is always a mistake and an unsightly thing for a photographer. ** Green Sensation is made to go to your plant from the 4th week onwards if you see that the plant is fast flowering start from the third, not before because you risk sending the plant into over.
