What an incredible week! This week marks the beginning of the flowering period. She's got pistils poking out of all of her nodes and its it's only going to get better as we go. This week was incredible because of growth. The amount these 2 plants grew in a 7 day period was astonishing! I once had someone tell me that auto flowering plants don't have a flowering stretch and after this weeks progress, I'm not sure i can agree with that. In one night alone they grew about 4 inches and it all began with the sight of the 1st pistils. On the 14th the measured at about 10/11 inches. 2 days later they were at 14 inches. On the 19th they were 17/19 inches. On the 21st they measured 22 inches. So if that's not a flowering stretch it's definitely a rapid explosion of growth in a 1 week period. I've been trying to feed the plants moderately and they're needing watering about every 2 days. I did defoliate slightly, I had seen some very large fan leaves that were really blocking up the light flow and I got tired of trying to tuck them. I'm hopeful it wasn't too much removed and given their still rigorous growth I think they'll be completely alright. Happy growing to everyone. ✌️

Are there any opinions on what sort of lighting is best for seedlings? Should they get a lower light intensity than bigger veg plants, or does a 300 watt not sound too strong? I've usually started babies under cfl lights...just curious if its safe to expose them to others in their 1st week or so.

@Experimentgreen, its a fun dance between giving them lots of love while simultaneously letting them just be :) keep up the good fight

@starphish, I can definitely see that...i think i start thinking the plants need much more than they really do and i regret it later. The more i leave them alone the better they do most the time.

@Experimentgreen, From my 10+ experience you can get by with a lot less for seedlings. (single cfl) However when applied to autoflowers. I like to give them all I can the entire photoperiod. I've done seed to flower with a 300watt (127 true watts) Roleadro and it did great albeit smaller yields with less light but speed and vigor was there :)

@Silverback_Guerilla, thanks. Crazy what a couple changes do...came out at least double in size.💚

My pumice floats a little. It is much better than pearlite regarding to float. After a month in my pot, pumice no longer float. And I tend to blend fine size with small size.

@Med_in_Tropic, ill try that thanks for the tip. There is a diamataceous earth product that fine like the pumice but it's expensive but it lets out silica into the grow slowly which is awesome and then keeps some bugs at bay.

Beautiful! Amazing job. Love mephisto genetics. Have a few mystery mix seeds going and really hoping one turns out to be these. Keep doing what your doing and best of luck with the rest of your grow

@Denzul, thanks it's been an exciting indoor season. My 1st sour stomper was a bit of a mess but with a few changes these 2 turned out much bigger, wider, fuller canopy and just over all better. How will you know what the mysteries are? Educated guessing?✌️

Pretty much. Meph only carries about 30 strains at a time so sometimes you can compare it to other diaries to determine. Sometimes it's just to hard to determine. Mephheads on reddit are also extremely helpful thread to help figure it out.

@ChefDan420, Thanks, its amazing how much better these 2 sour stompers are doing versus the 1st one. Just a few small adjustments and they're way healthier, more full foliage. It's great
