FlowerForYou 30/12/24: Day of Germination, nothing to see here yet.
I picked a variety of different indica dominant hybrids which I want to test out! I kept in mind to have somewhat similar growth and flowering times with all the different strains to eliminate problems later on! Out of the 7 beans which I put into the ground only 4 will go into flowering, so let's see who wins the race and who gets sorted out!
02/01/25: Yesterday I got nervous because only one seed germinated, so I popped another strain: purple punch from seedstockers, maybe similar to the blue gelato 41...anyway today I woke up to 3 new seedlings!
So far 4/8 are seeing the light :)
05/01/25: 6 out of 8 seeds popped! Really sad that gorilla skittlez didn't make it...I dug up the seed and turns out it actually germinated but the hypocotyl grew upwards instead of down...anyways, tomorrow they will be transplanted to cups!

FlowerForYou 06/01/25: Today I transplanted into red cups and sprinkled some myco (top crop) into the fresh soil! The purple punch and grand daddy purple were a little to small to transplant but I still went with it...partly due to my laziness and partly because I have two plants extra and want to try out different things to learn from!

FlowerForYou 13/01/25: So far all of the seedlings are looking fine, the purple kush plants seem to grow more vigorous, while grand daddy purple & purple punch are behind due to later germination...will transplant all of them in the next few days!
15/01/25: Today I transplanted the 4 bigger plants, I saw some curling leaves...maybe wind burn? Turnt it down a notch!
17/01/25: New leaves look better without weird twisting or clawing. Can't really decide on which plants to keep and which one to discard :/ I have to make up my mind soon though...

FlowerForYou 20/01/25: Plants are looking okayish to my eye, could be better but also worse...I wont change anything for the moment!
22/01/25: Today I topped all of them after the 3rd node! The purple Kush plants are clearly further in development, I hope I can still get one even canopy by LST and scrog later on! I also made up my mind and we have 4 keepers:

Grand daddy purple &
Triton biscotto lime
26/01/25: It's the last day of week 3 of vegetative growth and all of the plants took the topping without any problems and also the leaves are not curled any more... sometimes it's the best thing to just wait out small irregularities it seems!
Also it becomes really apparent that I am growing two very different phenos of purple kush, one with a very indica like bushy growth and the other one with longer internodes and really long leave branches...really curious how these one compare later on in flowering!

FlowerForYou 27/01/25: Beginning of week 4 and I am slowly getting a fungus gnats plague in my grow tent. So now I set up some yellow stickers and tomorrow I will water with some sf-nematodes!
Also I will start to bend down the top two branches in order to hopefully get them level before switching to bloom at the end of this week :)
02/02/25: Today I transplanted into 7.5 L and snapped one branch of one of the purple punch plants by accident :/. I'm also experiencing some cal/mag deficiency as it seems...I will definitely start feeding some if this will not get better after transplant! :)
I think in two/three days I will switch to flowering, as the. Plants not not guite big enough for my liking! Looking forward to it ππ

FlowerForYou 04/02/25: Today 8 switched to 12/12 and put the TS1000 to 100% (from 50 in veg)
Also I topped the second bigger purple kush a second time because it was growing to tall for my taste!
09/02/25: The last days I finally had some time to give them the time & care they need! So far all of them are looking fine (praying to the sun) and are really beginning to accelerate growth wise. I try to control growth to give the new shoots as much light as possible while keeping a somewhat even canopy. I also started cutting lower leaves and branches which will never reach canopy level! Also fungus gnats plague got better since I used nematodes & yellow stickers, can only recommend this ππΌ
11/02/25: Last day of the first week of bloom. The grow look kinda messy at the moment but it will all come together soon, trust me π. Did some light defoliation every day or so just to have light reaching the new shoots! Other than that business ass usual!

FlowerForYou 12/02/25: beginning of second week of flowering, everything is looking good so far! Triton biscotto lime is falling a bit behind sadly but I will just keep raising the pot to keep am even canopy!
I also kept bending everything down last week...from now on I will just let it shoot!
15/02/25: Today I Installed a Blumat System for automatic watering of each pot, I used one carrot plus 3 drippers each...maybe a bit overkill but I bought everything in a bundle for cheap so I might as well use it! It's my first time using blumat so I guess I will need to readjust in the next day! Also installed a scrog net for even canopy!

FlowerForYou 19/02/25: Start of week 3 and there is really not a lot to report at this point...I'm getting worried a bit that I overdid it with the LST and Scrogging since they are still really small :/. On the good side of things I do have a nice and even canopy with a lot of bud sites. My feeding plan is to Hand water once a week with biobloom and feed plagron green sensation (booster) together with calmag over the blumat System!
23/02/25: Well...it hurts to say but I had to kill off one purple kush off as it started to form pollen sacks on multiple sites. TBH I have no idea what I could have done differently but I guess you learn as you grow! Now the canopy is not as full anymore but I'm sure the other plants will fill in the empty space rather soon. Other than that things are looking fine.
25/02/25: End of 3rd flowering week and buds are starting to form, also watered with 2 ml/L biobloom about 1 L per pot only to add in nutes as the automatic watering is working really fine!

Im in the beginning of flowering of my second indoor grow and observed some suspicious little 'sack-like' structures at the nodes of 1 branch of one Plant! If you are experienced with herms, can you please have a look and give some advice? Thanks a lot!
go ahead and pluck what you find, but unless this is a single plant, throw it out if it continues to grow more of them. A little sacrifice to save the rest of the crop.
Looks like you have 3 other plants in that grow. My advice is remove the plant, check it all over for pollen sacks, and if its just the ones in the pick then remove them and put it back but keep a close eye on it. If more sacks are developing then get rid so it doesn't polinate the others.

FlowerForYou 27/02/2025: Beginning of week 4 of flowering, they still stretch a bit towards the light! At this point I am only watching the grow unfold and won't do anything other than cutting leaves that grow over other budsites.
Also for the future: plagron green sensation can't be used in automatic watering, since it forms some weird perceptions at the surface which clogs up the tubes :/.
03/03/25: Buds were are swelling nicely over the weekend! New feeding schedule: blumat with water only, 1x week: 3ml/1L biogrow + 1ml/L each green sensation & calmag pro
04/03/25: End of week flowering week 4 and I did some last defoliation to bring down humidity, increase airflow and hopefully prevent budrot!

09/03/25: Fifth flowering week is halfway through and buds are stacking up nicely! Today I gave them another feeding as I feel like they are turning yellow a bit soonish (although I have no experience at this front). Anyway I will increase feeding of biobloom & green sensation until I see some minor overfeeding signs to hopefully push the production to a max! Let's see!

FlowerForYou 20/03/25: Beginning of week 7 of flowering! From now on it's only a matter of patience I feel like! The Grand Daddy Purple has already brownish calynx and seems to be more advanced in terms of ripening, while Purple Kush and Triton biscotto lime are a little on the slower side! Especially the Triton biscotto lime looks super promising and will be the main yielder I guess! Sadly there is not a lot of colour coming through...I guess it's just not cold enough in the night time. I keep giving notes every 3-4 days (kinda high doses though) and they are still looking very green, so I guess there is still a good way to go!

FlowerForYou 10/03/25: We are now entering the 10th week of flower and the tent is really giving me autumn vibes with all the yellow leaves! I am keeping humidity between 30 - 40 % since I am really concerned about budrot (had it in both my last runs), and so far things are looking good! Concerning trichomes, I can see some amber in Purple Kush and Grand Daddy Purple, while Triton biscotto lime is looking mostly cloudy to me...anyway I will harvest in the next upcoming days, when I find some time!
13/04/25: After 69 days of flowering I felt like it's time to chop her down! Did some rough wet trimming and hung her up as a whole plant! The buds seems really rock hard and give a nice earthy and floral smell! I am really curious about the total dry weight and smoke after curing!
Update: These buds came out really nice, having a nice woody/skunky I smell and rock hard! They had a really good leave/bud ratio so trimming was super easy and fast! Total yield after drying: 44,8g

FlowerForYou Today way the 69th day of flowering and I had some spare time on my hand so I just went with it! I think they are just about perfectly ripe (about 5-10% amber) and there wasnt any change in the last two weeks in terms of bud stacking (only the leaves turning yellow). I will keep an eye on drying environment and make sure to not let the humidity go over 60% to avoid budrot!
Total yield:
Purple Kush: 37,8 g
Grand Daddy Purple: 44,8 g
Triton biscotto lime: 45,9 g
Popcorn buds (of all 3 plants): 24.1 g
13/04/25: Did some rough wet trimming and hung her up as a whole plant! The buds are covered in rosin and give me reaaally strong stinky gassy aromas! I know I will either love the smoke or can't smoke this at all haha. Also got some little foxtailing in the end so I thought it's time to chop her down! Trichomes were more or less cloudy but since this one is described as leaning to the sativa side it would be nice to have a more uplifting smoke at hand, and I'm happy I harvested this one a bit too early!
Update: After drying they still have this really intense citrus/gass smell! I can't tell if I like it yet but it really delivered in terms of aroma! Also, even though this was the smallest plant it has the biggest yield with 45,9 g after drying!

Update:
Trimming this plant was a pain in the ass...so many small buds when compared to my other two strains. Also yield was lowest: 37.8 g. On the other side this was has by far the most appealing smell, still really sweet and fruity, love it! Also ist covered in an unbelievable amount of trichomes, I guess this will be a strong one! Can't wait until curing is done and I can have a tester!

FlowerForYou This grow was really easy going, I learned a ton of stuff and I think my next one will be really perfect since I got my setup really figured out now and also have enough experience to grow some top shelf bud even in my small tent! I will update in 2 weeks after drying!
