Some of my other grows are not going smoothly at the moment. So I converted my dry tent to grow these Zamnesia Runtz seeds in a pinch for the eternity grow cup.
All 5 showed a taproot appearing after 36 hours in a cup of water.
They’ve been placed in soil then loosely covered. I’m using a germination bucket intended to increase humidity.
Low light and heat mat for warmth.
~48 hours later all five have emerged from the soil.
Leaves are praying to the light. I’m happy with progress so far.
Have only provided a quarter of liter or so of tap water. Their next watering will have a light nute mix and be ph’d.
Happy with progress so far.
Just letting the plants use the nutes in the soil so far. I’ve had good luck with just complementing fox farm ocean forest with some CalMag in the early stages.
I’ll repot end of the week and start nutes after.
Repotted the plants on day 1. Will update with images later in the week.
Next watering will include first nutes and depending on progress topping will commence.
Day 5 week 3 updated with nutes.
All 5 plants topped the end of day 27 so they can start to recover while the lights are off. LST training next after some recovery growth.
Looks like the web app decided that this week is gonna be a flower week. Plants are still in veg. updated.
The girls seem a little stunted after being topped still. Hoping they start showing signs of vigor soon, Some of the phenos are now clearly outpacing the rest.
Defoliated and trained with some bud clips.
It’s getting close to time to move these plants out of my dry tent and into some 5 gallon pots in a larger tent.
Unfortunately I haven’t been able to update for a little bit, but I did grab one image of the Runtz before swapping them into some 5 gallon pots and moving to a larger tent.
The plants were getting quite bushy their past two weeks in the up-sized pots. So some defoliation was in order just to easily be able to water them again. Then a little bit of LST to even out the canopy. Final change was to reduce light ppm and attempt to encourage more vertical growth. 8-10 hours later the plants demonstrated strong recovery indicating good health. So happy with progress so far.
Plan is to veg out until the end of week 10 then switch to flower.
Well…stuff happens. A power failure in the garage overnight caused these plants to receive 18 hours of darkness inadvertently. Unfortunately, I had just given them their last big veg nutrient feeding. So flower nutes will have to wait until the next watering. They’re starting a little smaller than I had hoped but I expect still good end results.
Disappointed for the emerging yellow growth. I’m hoping the slowly increasing temperatures will help correct this issue. Im confident soil ph is good and light is around 800ppfd at the moment.
On point👍💚🌱
Very nice LST and the bounce back from the girls shows that they are healthy and happy.
All in all they mirror the love and care you offer them and will surely thank you with a very good and frosty harvest💚🤤🤤
Very nice👍
@BrediniGreeny, thank you again! I’m a little late to update my diaries since I’m traveling. But these plants have been transferred to bigger pots and tent. Thus they’re starting to take off
