Forget-Me-Lots

I floated one of my two Amnesia XXL beans this evening...(or was it both, I can't remember)..nah..the other is serving as an "alternate" in case of failure. If it pops and emerges, I'll let it grow naturally. SATURDAY: She didn't sink..not even with a couple taps...😑 I'm almost 2 full weeks behind schedule already, so I'd like this bitch to pop and get on with it.😀 I intend to give this seedling mostly blue and cool white light for a week, but will set the big blurple to dose her for an hour at a time, 8 hours per day for a week or so. Then I'll swap out the blue panels and blue miracleLED's with red panels and red miracleLED's and kick on the 3 COB's and QB to run with the blurple for 20-ish hours per day. The goal being to try and get maximum height out of her before I move her into the primary tent to flower. This strain and the others I'm growing this time around are all purported to reach 120-140cm, and I'd like to achieve that ..at a minimum.😁 SUNDAY: She cracked open, but not ready to plant yet.. MONDAY: She stuck her tongue out at me, so I planted her in a rockwool cube. Grow baby, grow! TUESDAY: Nuttin yet... Only one of my Stardawgs cracked open, so I started soaking another Amnesia XXL as insurance. WEDNESDAY: The sprout I planted has emerged. It's on! 👍 SATURDAY: The other bean cracked open yesterday and I planted it in a cube today. SUNDAY: #1 is doing fine, but still no sign of the second one... WEDNESDAY: The other Amnesia Auto XXL is up... Week #12 officially begins!

TUESDAY 3/5: Both seedlings are still alive...one still under the dome and one in a 5g pot. WEDNESDAY: Nothing new to report.. THURSDAY: I sure hope her tap root catches hold soon... FRIDAY: She's growing! SATURDAY: The second seedling might actually get planted tomorrow, too! WEDNESDAY 3/13: I'm still calling it week 2 because the second Amnesia XXL seedling is about a week behind the first one. I moved the bigger one into the big tent under 170w of 3200k plus 660nm and a pair of blue miracleLEDs. The little one is still in the small tent under a humidifier and getting 18 intermittent hours of big blurple at 30" and a constant 24 hours of less intense blue/white light. During 6 x 1-hour spells of only the less intense blue/white lights, the ventilation is off and my CO2 climbs to and stays near 1400ppm..then when the vents kick on, it drops back down to about 1000ppm. THURSDAY: Big girl is looking great, but little girl seems to have halted growth... FRIDAY: It's not looking good for the small one, but the big one is growing well now.

SUNDAY 3/17: The big one is looking great, but the little one seems stunted. I fed the big one for the first time today. She got about 1/4 gallon of all the good stuff, so she should be happy. WEDNESDAY 3/20: I'm out of patience...the little one is gonna either improve tonight or be pulled tomorrow. The big one has entered "beast mode" ..doubling in size daily.👍 SATURDAY 3/23: Today I moved everybody into the big tent so I could clean up the small tent and set it up for flowering. I dimmed it to about 80% and placed my blue panels above my bars, so it peeks between them, and have 4 total blue 24w miracleLEDs in there as well. Temps are warmer than I'd like, (90f) but it's just for a day or two. I'll get the other evaporative cooler tomorrow...that should help in the small tent. I'm not sure which plants will be in the 4 x 5 and which will be in the 4 x 4 tent, but I'm thinking I'll grow the 2 x Tangie, 1 x WW XXL, 1 x Amnesia XXL, and the 4 x Candy Canes in the 4 x 4. I'm pushing 1010 actual watts of light in the 4 x 5 and up to 950 actual watts in the 4 x 4 (blurple-367w, 3 x 100w COBs, 1 x 120w QB, 2 x 26w red panels, 2 x 36w red floods, 4 x 36w bar side lights) So, I really don't think it's gonna matter much, in terms of wattage per square foot, which plants get grown in which tent. And, in terms of environment, it should also be nearly identical conditions because I'm gonna try a partial closed-loop ventilation method: 440cfms of my 80-85f-ish air will be exhausted through a carbon filter in the top of the the big tent, through 10 feet of duct, and into the small tent, directly over the blurple light. 390cfms of the 80-85f-ish air in the small tent is simultaneously exhausted through 10 feet of ducting back into the bottom of the big tent. I've also got a 240cfm duct booster fan exhausting from the top of the big tent through a carbon filter in the room where the tents are...right next to an open window...this allows me to keep negative pressure on both tents and to evacuate some of the warmer air out of the house. I have the a/c register above the tent ducted directly into the top of the big tent, so whenever the a/c kicks on, fresh-filtered 72f air is pumped into the tent for a few minutes, bringing down the temps about 5-10 degrees each time. There will also be a 75w evaporative cooler circulating water-cooled air in each tent, which will hopefully keep my humidity at around 50%.

SUNDAY 3/24: I watered her today and added some kelp me kelp you, bud candy, calimagic, microbe brew, armor si, and boomerang. She's branching nicely. I moved her and the 2 x Tangies and 1 x WW XXL into the small tent today. TUESDAY 3/26: Temps are waaay to hot, so I'm tweaking my ventilation and times again... WEDNESDAY 3/27: I fed her about 1/3 gallon of all the good stuff, and foliar fed her a few times. She was definitely affected by the heat from the last few days, but I think she'll be okay. THURSDAY: I foliar fed her a few times and spun her around. Tweaking timers again..still too hot. FRIDAY: She's flowering! The temps are still climbing too high by the end of the day, so I'm gonna have to dial back the lights a bit more in the small tent to make the difference I think.😕 I'm still running at 24/0 in the big tent for another week, and running 20/4 in the small tent. I need to get the temps at 85f max in both tents pretty quickly...I've got 4 in the small tent flowering now.. My next tweak is to just alternate the timers between the whites/reds and the blurple/white sides in the small tent while the big tent's all lit up. And only when it's dark in the big tent will I run all the lights in the small tent at the same time. If that doesn't do the trick, I can always switch to 18/6 in one or both of the tents, too, but that'd be a last resort. ***Water with kelp, cal/mag, silica and Boomerang tomorrow-

Almost have the lighting timers adjusted well enough to keep the PAR high while keeping temperatures low enough for successful flowering. MONDAY: spun her around and foliar fed a few times TUESDAY: I fed her about 3/4 gallon and started her on Open Sesame and Tiger Bloom. Foliar fed a few times and tweaked the timers again.. WEDNESDAY: I foliar fed a few times and rotated her, then took some photos. She's looking sexy!😍 THURSDAY: I foliar fed her a few times and rotated her. FRIDAY: I watered her with about a half-gallon including boomerang, bud candy, calimagic, terpinator, kelp me kelp you, and armor si. She's the most Sativa-looking plant in either of my tents, but still currently winning the race to the finish.

SUNDAY 4/7: I foliar fed her twice and rearranged the garden a bit while taking photos. Nutes tomorrow- She's reeeaaalllly stretching now. 💪 MONDAY: I fed her about a half-gallon and foliar fed her a few times today. She's so sexy with her thick white pistils!😍 TUESDAY: I foliar fed her a couple times and rotated her today. WEDNESDAY: Foliar fed and rotated her. THURSDAY: Foliar fed and rotated her...not dry enough to feed. FRIDAY: Foliar fed and rotated her...still not dry enough to feed again...high humidity. I think I'll get some more air moving around the pots tomorrow.

SUNDAY 4/14: I foliar fed her and rotated her while taking photos. I'll start misting her with plan PH'd spring water tomorrow for a couple of days to rinse the nutes off, then it's time to dry out the air a bit. I bidded on a good 70pint dehumidifer on ebay..fingers crossed. Love this plant..she's gonna be a beast!😋 MONDAY: I watered her with about 1/4 gallon and misted her and rotated her. She's fattening up nicely now- TUESDAY: I misted her and rotated her. Raised the COB directly over her about an inch. I won the auction on the dehumidifier ($95!!) It will be here Friday. For some reason my tent temps aren't stable again. I ordered a C.A.P. HLC today to at least automatically shut down the primary light when the temp reaches 92(or whatever)..and it will come back on when the temp drops by 5 degrees. $45 on Amazon..a cheap insurance policy.. WEDNESDAY: Wish I had the CAP HLC already...got up to 104f in the big tent last night!!!!😧 I tweaked the lighting timers some more to hopefully mitigate it, I moved her into the big tent today with all the other big bitches and moved the little ones into the small tent. I watered her with about a half-gallon today. THURSDAY: She seems to like the new flavor of "sunlight" just fine.👍

SUNDAY 4/21: I fed them about 1/2 gallon each today. Will take some photos tomorrow- MONDAY: Had other stuff to do today, so they only got a once over. TUESDAY: I rearranged them and took some photos today. WEDNESDAY: I rearranged them and took some photos and a video. Will water her tomorrow- THURSDAY: I watered with about 1/3 gallon and included some terpinator, calimagic, and beastie bloomz. She looks great..wasn't bothered by the heat last week as much as the WW XXL. She should finish strong if I can get the temps under control. She's got a lovely aroma.😀 FRIDAY: I made some improvements to my fresh air a/c intake in the tent that dropped the temp a couple of degrees, and the new dehumidifier is keeping the RH right where I want it..45-50%.👌 This allows the evap cooler to be more effective at cooling as well...above 50% RH and it's basically just a fan..

SUNDAY 4/28: She's still my garden star.😍 I plucked off some dead leaves and did some leaf-tucking. She's trying to take over the garden..branches everywhere it seems. Daytime temps are still hovering around 87-90f, but I've got her sitting in 70-72f temps for 6 hours of darkness now.😁 I did a little video today and I'll take a few "glamour shots" tomorrow. MONDAY: I watered her with about 1/2 gallon of properly ph'd water including calimagic, boomerang, bud candy, terpinator, and her last dose of beastie bloomz. She'll get Cha Ching from here on out- TUESDAY: Not much time for gardening today. I changed out the carbon filters and did some cleaning. WEDNESDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and took photos today- She's a beaut😍 I have some sort of contagion in the big tent..leaves suddenly getting brown and crispy overnight on a few plants...she's still not been affected...fingers crossed... THURSDAY: The 'contagion' seems to be spreading through the garden...but she's still okay.. I'm thinking maybe I completely PHuktup the ph when I added silica last time and didn't correct it?? FRIDAY: I plucked some dead leaves and misted everybody with perfectly PH adjusted spring water and increased airflow in the tent. Also decreased the dehumidifier to 45% RH. SATURDAY: I fed her today and started her on Cha Ching.

SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on her. She's getting close now! Prolly about 70% cloudy and 5% amber! TUESDAY: I observed some white spots on a few leaves here and there, so I sprayed her today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think she'll be fine. I'll spray her again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because she is already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I watered her today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was her last dose of any nutes...flushing with spring water from here on out. THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

SUNDAY 5/12: I flushed her for the first time today with about 5 gallons of filtered, ph adjusted water and some Bembe. She's gonna come in over 100g for sure. She's starting to give off a really nice stank!😵 MONDAY: I rotated herunder the 2 x 15.0 reptile UVB's today and removed necrotic leaves TUESDAY: I checked trichromes today and plucked some dead shit.. WEDNESDAY: I'm gonna flush her tomorrow for the last time, then she will get about 4 or 5 more days under my new 4' Solacure FlowerPower UV light..a little late in the game, but maybe it'll make her sweat a little bit more of that delicious nectar for me.🙏 THURSDAY: I flushed her for the last time and put her right under the Flowerpower UVB.

SUNDAY 5/19: I accidentally left my UV timer in the "ON" position all night and half of the next day...fearing sudden death, I have moved everybody that was almost ready into the dark tent, including the Amnesia XXL Auto and will start harvesting them tomorrow..maximum UVB stress for about 20 hours...if it works out that they are even more potent than expected without turning brown overnight, I'll claim it was "intentional," and purport it as an "advanced technique" 😉 MONDAY: She's still sitting in the dark. I flipped on the green light and went into the tent for a sniff test on everybody...wow...she smells funky! 😳

TUESDAY 5/22: Harvested! She took a little over an hour to trim..big heavy buds 'o' plenty.💪 T-minus 10 days til smoke test. This plant continued to swell up right through flushing and her 2 dark days. Pretty much every side branch was hanging to the floor when I removed the supports. WEDNESDAY 5/29: Weighed and jarred up! 101 grams!👍 AUGUST 15th: Just about finished with this batch. It is a very nice buzz, though not the strongest Amnesia derivative I've had. It is perfect for daytime activities as it doesn't make you at all stoned and sleepy..just very high. It was very easy to grow, FINAL THOUGHTS: Potency: 7/10 Aroma: 7/10 Taste: 7/10 Bag-appeal: 9/10 Yield: 8/10 I give it a solid 7.5/10
