Hempcules WEEK 1 (Day1-7)
I’m starting here again with a new round of F1 Automatic seeds from Zamnesia. This time it’s the Dos-si-dos F1 in a Sea of Green setup in 3.5L pots.
The pots are self-made and consist of fabric pots with an aluminum plate that divides them in the middle.
I'm using biobizz light mix as soil again. I plan to fertilize this grow entirely organically. I'll use Green Sensation from Plagron during the flowering stage, and this time, I don't want to use Topmax to bring out the full range of terpenes.
As usual, all seeds germinated within 36 hours, and I’ve now placed them in their pots and covered them with transparent lids to keep the moisture in.
I sprinkled mycorrhiza powder around the seeding area, and the entire potting soil was thoroughly watered once with root juice. I’m super excited about this strain in what is, after all, a rather unusual cultivation method. 🙂

Hempcules WEEK 2 (Day8-14)
So far, there are no objections. The plants are all growing nicely and evenly. Each one is currently at the same level, which I really like.
For the first 2–3 weeks, I water exclusively by hand using a spray bottle, usually once a day, to keep everything consistently moist. My VPD is set to 0.7 kPa, and the lamps are currently providing about 150–200 PPFD.
Due to the fresh soil and the number of pots, the CO2 concentration is once again above average, but I generally don't see that as too big of an issue.
Everything is making a great impression so far and gives hope for a successful outcome. I’m curious to see what this strain has to offer in the coming weeks.

Hempcules WEEK 3 (DAY 15-21)
I'm kicking off next week with excitement and starting with mainlining. I pruned the plants on day 15 and even have a special case with 3 side shoots instead of 2. Truly exceptional genetics.
I’ve adjusted my VPD value to 0.8 kPa for the week, for which I determined a leaf offset of -1 degree.
Edit Day 21:
All the plants have successfully endured the mainfolding process and are growing at a nice pace.
The one mutated plant has now developed three beautiful shoots, which I will continue to train in the coming weeks.

Hempcules WEEK 4 (Day 22-28)
And here we go with Week 4 of my Dos-si-dos F1 grow. I’ve planned a lot for this week, but first, I adjusted my climate values. Currently, I have programmed a vapor pressure deficit of 0.9 kPa in my tent, and the lamps are shining at approximately 350 PPFD.
So far, all the plants have developed a fairly decent manifold, which I aim to train further throughout the week. The plan is to mainline them to 8 colas.

Hempcules WEEK 5 (DAY29-35)
I start the week here with mainlining. I've created a nice, compact manifold on all the plants and have now topped the side shoots and removed all unnecessary shoots and leaves. A very harsh procedure, which I try to cushion a bit with Boomboom spray. Otherwise, I'm pretty much on schedule and now look forward to seeing beautiful, even shoots grow on my plants.
Over the course of the week, I’ll raise the VPD value to 1 kPa and increase my light intensity to about 450 PPFD.

Hempcules WEEK 6 (Day36 - 42)
All the plants have handled the mainlining well and have now entered the flowering phase. I’m curious to see how significant the stretch will be in the coming weeks, but I don’t expect it to be too pronounced. This strain is very small and bushy, and the pot volume has been chosen to be small as well.
The small plants have developed strong stems and thick shoots, which gives me positive expectations for the future.
My VPD value is now set at a leaf offset of 3 degrees, with 1.1 kPa, and the light intensity is around 500 PPFD - 600 PPFD.

Hempcules WEEK 7 (Day42 - 48)
The training has proven effective for all plants. I continuously defoliate them at the beginning of flowering. This strain has a very compact growth form, almost resembling a bonsai. Nevertheless, all the shoots are covered with dense flower pistils. I think this strain is ideal for small grow spaces.
The current growth suggests a really strong, compressed flowering pattern, and I believe these plants will deliver solid performance in the coming weeks.
As for the values, I have increased the VPD to 1.2 kPa and raised the light intensity to 650 PPFD

Hempcules WEEK 8 (DAY50-56)
This week, my beloved Dos-si-dos have put on a good amount of bulk. Due to the very small pots in the SOG setup and the aggressive mainlining, the plants have taken on quite a bonsai-like appearance. The stretch is still ongoing, but I don't think it plays a major role here. Otherwise, all the plants have developed beautiful, even shoots that are already fully covered with young, delicate buds.
The stems of the plants have already reached over 15mm in thickness, which I find quite impressive for their size. Essentially, one could say that Dos-si-dos grow quickly and in a very compact manner.
Starting this week, I have supplemented the fertilization schedule with Green Sensation from Plagron, which I now use about once or twice a week.
Additionally, I have adjusted my lamp upwards again. On average, I now have a light intensity of approximately 700 PPFD, which, over a 20-hour period, results in a DLI of around 55. I try to keep the humidity consistently below 60%.
The next few weeks will be interesting with this strain. I believe the plants will ultimately look quite peculiar due to their small stature but productive growth. Even aromatically, the Dos-si-dos are beginning to develop a pleasantly sweet scent.

You’ve made a fantastic start with your grow — really impressive!
Your plants are thriving beautifully, especially that lush green growth; it’s clear you’re putting real care into them.
I have to say, your Video is super cool! I love it!
Great job all around.
This setup sounds really interesting! I love the idea of the self-made fabric pots with the aluminum divider—such a creative touch. Looking forward to seeing how the Dos-si-dos F1 performs in this Sea of Green. Wishing you a great grow!
