Schnabeldino _____π Week 2 | π Day 8 - 14 | 06.05 - 12.05 ______
07.05.25 | Day 9 ππ§
πΈThis week, Iβm starting with nutrients. Iβm following the recommended feeding schedule, but Iβm beginning cautiously with only half the dosage for the base nutrients. Gradually, Iβll increase to around three-quarters. All plants will get the same dose for now so I can closely observe how each one reacts. 100 ml
πΈOne outlier has already caught my eye: the Oreoz has developed mushy, dark spots on its first leaves. So far, sheβs the only one among the five plants under the light showing these symptoms. She might just be a little more sensitive than the othersβor perhaps she's reacting differently to certain conditions. I don't think it will harm her any further. ππ
Current Conditions:
π‘οΈπ= 23-24Β°
π‘οΈπ= 18-19Β°
π¨ Hum. = 70-80%
π¦ PPFD = 300 umol 18/6
π¦βDLI = ~15
Iβm already looking forward to the weeks ahead β things are just getting interesting!

πΈOreoz looks very nice, I really like the color...A beautiful poisonous rich green. I would have liked to wait another 1-2 weeks, but that's the way it is when you grow different strains in a tent. So she's going into flower with the others...I'm very curious to see how she'll continue. She had her problems at the beginning but big Mama was there to help.
πΈI never actually do a big defoliation in the veggie phase, why would I do that? In my eyes it only has disadvantages, I can usually do most of the work with hooks and LST and just push the leaves back down every day, of course you have to remove some leaves, but the more leaves you remove and damage the plant the longer it takes to recover. It doesn't look nice and clean this way, but we want to get the maximum out of the plant.... we certainly hope so haha...
πΈThe light has now been changed to 12/12 today...I'm really looking forward to the stretch.

πΈThis week I wanted to stress my sweetys as little as possible, so only a few photos from the tent. They are standing perfectly straight and I didn't want to break or snap anything off. They are doing great.
πΈI tried out my additional light this week and connected it to my controller. As soon as the flowering starts I will switch it on. I'll have to see how much distance I use this time, the lamps were too close to the plants during the last grow βRuntzβ and that didn't look nice.
πΈNext week I will start giving her Big Bud as soon as the first buds appear.
πΈOreoz: Not much to see of flowering yet, I think it will stretch a bit more. she still has a beautiful color.

πΈWe were lazy about photos this week, just a few from the tent...The plants were fed with nutrients as usual this week. Bud development has started to progress, with early calyx formation and visible white pistils. The light intensity was increased to 90% to support optimal flowering. Overall, the plants appear healthy and vigorous.
πΈoreoz doesn't have many main colas, but they are really thick compared to the others, she has really caught up in the last few meters and I actually like her best now π
πΈI follow this guide a bit - they test the lamps once at 80% and once at 100% light output...I will settle at 90% and still have room to go down and up

Day 98 π β Oreoz
πΈ Oreoz is looking like an absolute showstopper this week. The buds are incredibly dense and completely frosted with thick, glistening trichomes β it almost looks like theyβve been dusted with snow. Resin production is off the charts, especially on the top colas. Trichomes: Mostly milky with some still clear β no ambers yet. She's not quite ready, but getting close.
πΈ Climate control has improved. Humidity started the week at 63%, but with the dehumidifier now running and all clip fans at full power, it's being maintained steadily between 50β60%. That little climate shift is definitely helping β the buds are chunking up without any signs of stress. The slight 2β3Β°C increase in tent temperature is worth it.
πΈ Nutrients: 1 week of Overdrive (Advanced Nutrients) before the flush phase. Water intake has already slowed down noticeably β another good sign that the end is near.

Day 105 π β Oreoz (Harvest in Sight)
πΈ Visuals: Oreoz is now strutting her stuff like a true queen on the red carpet. The buds are rock-solid, swollen to perfection, and absolutely drenched in a frosty coat of milky trichomes. A few amber heads have started to make their debut, giving us a sweet little wink that harvest is just around the corner. The fiery orange pistils have curled in and deepened in color, making the whole plant look like a masterpiece.
πΈ Aroma & Resin: The terpene profile is now in full swingβsweet and creamy with a subtle earthy twist. Touch her once and your fingers are instantly glued together from the insane resin production. Sheβs basically a sticky, fragrant work of art.
πΈ Climate:
The temperature couldn't be worse...towards the end, of course, it will be almost 30 degrees for the next few days.
Humidity has been tamed, sitting comfortably between 50β55%, keeping mold far, far away from those dense colas.
VPD remains locked in at 1.4 β 1.6, letting the buds finish without a hint of stress.
πΈ Nutrients & Water: Overdrive week is in the books. From here on out itβs plain, pH-balanced water (EC ~0.5) to flush her through. Sheβs drinking noticeably less nowβa sure sign sheβs in her final act and drawing on her own reserves.
